The Great Deceit of Your Mind!

37154763_501614523605248_1525378835132973056_n
What is beautiful to you…??  Do you judge things, animals, people, on how they look–on your particular definition of beauty…??  Are you open-minded about beauty, or do you follow the standards of beauty set by your mental conditioning and all of society’s…??  Can you truly be honest with yourself about this…??
In many areas of Tajikistan the unibrow is a sign of extreme beauty; people here believe that the single eyebrow on a girl talks about her chosen destiny and luck.  In South Korea, I heard, plastic surgery is the norm, and clinics advertising in appearance correction hung everywhere; so, one of the finest features of the image of Koreans is believed to be the person with the face in the form of heart.  Residents of some African and New Guinea parts deliberately cover their bodies with numerous scars–in men this procedure is performed during a rite of initiation (a culture thing), and in women it is believed that the scar tattoos add beauty to them…  I am talking about the superficial beauty the eyes see and the ego full of beliefs creates as the norm for people.  Have you noticed that all this is following a belief, either a program since childhood in your mind or a belief in a culture that separates people…??

That is why it is not reasonable to judge people on looks.  It is not reasonable to allow your passions to fall in “love” with looks.  It is not reasonable to fear based on looks.  All is a belief!  And emptying the mind from beliefs and this programming is what one must do to wake up from the dream of “perfect beauty,” and also from the dream of fear.  What about animals–spiders, ants, rats, scorpions, snakes, beetles, etc:  these are labeled by people as disgusting and dangerous because of the belief programed in them also.  It is all their egos, they already have formed their ignorant ideas and labels of them based on fear and on the popular trend in our stupid society.

“All Black people are bad.”  “All immigrants come to take our jobs.”  “All white men have it easy.”  “All skinny girls are conceited.”  “All animals that look ugly are disgusting and dangerous.”  And the prejudice and the stupid beliefs go on and on…  Realize that beauty has been introduced in you as a program, as a belief; hence you are trapped in this selfish creed, and you make divisions–this is good, this is bad, she is beautiful, she is not, etc.  If you meditate, ponder deeply and realize this within yourself, then your mind will expand from its conditioned program and you will discover real beauty beyond what your physical eyes show you.  Do not take this lightly; for the world is what it is because there are beliefs of love and beauty–all created by a program, a conditioning…

Their business…

Some of you still belong to religions, I am sure of this, your minds still attached to these beliefs and dogmas designed by men with a selfish purpose–a purpose which has nothing to do with truth or God.  In their sheer ignorance they believe they are spreading knowledge of truth and God.  But if this is so, tell me, and tell yourself: Why there are so many religions dividing people…??  Why is there not peace in the world yet…??  Why have you still got problems in your life…??  Why is your mind still confused about God, love, peace…??  Why do you still seek answers…??  Why do you still suffer the slavery of your own ego…??  Why can you not ascend mentally yet…??  And the questions keep going forever…
554576_382528088463576_446125333_n

All that religions have done was to take Enlightened men, like Jesus, like Buddha, and put them as the main attraction, as the mere figureheads of their blasphemy; they mock these Enlightened men by using their names on their garbage institutions which do not really teach you to be enlightened like they were–they do not help you see your own ego and wake up from the dream.  Because they live in the dream as well, and if you found a way to see beyond the dream you would rise up and become free; and freedom of thought, self-discovery–that is not good for your religions business.  And you do understand religions are a business, like the business of foods or houses…??  Religions deal with your hopes, dreams, desires to know love and God and truth–they sell you all these, and trust that you are ignorant enough to buy from them.  Are you still buying from them, or have you woken up…??

Because religions are institutions created by the ego of man.  Religions want control over the masses, to grow the institution, to create a legacy, to rule over all activities of man, to amass material wealth through not paying taxes and getting free money and gifts from members/from faithful but ignorant followers.  But God, love, truth, peace–these are not found in the ego of man, no institution can actually give you these; hence religions cannot either.  These can only be discovered in man’s soul, by himself, through aloneness, through meditation, through self-discovery and self-knowledge…

The eagle who didn’t know itself.

eagle-nest_wide-ecd6e8ba7de93a922a4da3166eb068ebdae02ec3-s1100-c15

“In a forest an eagle lived on a tree, and it had built a nest wherein to lay its eggs; there the eagle would hatch its eggs all throughout the day.  Under the same tree there lived a hen, and this particular hen had also laid eggs during the same period when the eagle had laid its own eggs.  One day, while the eagle had gone for hunting, a bear climbed up the tree to eat the eagle’s eggs.  The bear had finished three of the eggs soon, when the fourth one slipped off its hands and fell into the hen’s nest; on returning, the eagle could not find her eggs, and so feeling terribly upset she decided to leave the place.

The hen which lived under the tree saw the eagle’s egg by the side of her eggs, so she felt pity on the eagle’s egg and decided to hatch it as well.  After a few days, the hen’s chicks hatched.  The eagle’s chick hatched, too.  And the hen would feed all the chicks, including the eagle’s chick, as if it were her own.  Soon the chicks began to grow.  The young chicks would listen to their mother’s sounds and try to imitate her.  The eagle’s chick also picked up the hen’s sounds, because that is all it heard.
The chicks would all play together and make lots of noise.  Within no time, the hen’s chicks, as well as the eagle’s chick, grew up to their full size.  The eagle’s chick never realized that it was an eagle and not a hen; so, considering itself a hen, the eagle would eat hen’s food, would walk and run like other hens and would make sounds like hens.  The eagle never learnt to fly like other eagles and lived its whole life like a hen only.”

Your parents were probably loving and did their best, like mine did also; however, this is not enough to illumine your conscience and wake up from the veil cast by society, specially as an adult who needs this illumination and wisdom in his/her own life.  As the little eagle growing up as a hen in the above-mentioned story, you might be still surrounded by people who are weaker of mind and ignorant of the deceit of their own egos, and you must see this yourself; for you probably feel sometimes confused, overwhelmed, lacking confidence, mentally weak to do something because this is your environment, your mental program, and the people with whom you interact daily.

a4fb1b55e92656420979839f0eb1cc8e--individual-rights-jiddu-krishnamurti
Growing up and experiencing this is surely painful if you believe it, if you believe you are the hen instead of the mighty eagle; so, as an adult it is extremely important that you choose your situations and the people to whom you give your time and your energy.  Because, after all, your mind will absorb the influence of your environment and of the people around you–their moods, their characters, their ideas, their intentions.  This energy will affect you, whether you want it or not.  So, choose carefully…

Incorruptible!

What is character…??  Is it only showing goodness to people, going out and doing charity work, giving blessings to everybody, showing that you care and that you are a saint…??  Is character something of your ego, something which may change at any given time–i.e., “I change my character with certain people,” “I love you but not them,” “I act this way now but tomorrow my character will change”…??

37107878_500681253698575_7828254427323564032_n
No, character is not something which depends on your environment or on the people around you, thus your character must not be corrupted by your emotional moods; so think of your character as something divine, unchangeable, because it really is–opposite to what most ignorant people think it is.

For example, you carry truth and you guide yourself by truth, thus you do not gossip, you do not blame and attack others.  But let’s say one day your friends are gathered doing just this, being obnoxious; and so they call you to be with them.  You do not start gossiping with them just because you want them to like you, but you embrace your divine character, the truth which guides your conscience.  You are your true self alone, with them, and with everybody.

integrity

And where does true character start strengthening itself and growing…??  It grows within you, when you are alone, stressed, moody, pressured by your life’s problems.  If you can build and strengthen character by yourself, alone, in your own mind, then, in all situations, you can be a light unto others and you will also remain true to your higher self.  Character is loving truth, loving yourself–not your ego, but the being underneath it.  Divine character is not a display of kind words and gentle activities with others, but it is how you carry yourself with yourself–i.e., how loving you are with yourself in self-talk, how truthful you are with yourself with matters of health and all morality, how understanding you are in life’s difficult situations, etc. etc…  A divine character is a strong character which will not bend or be corrupted by anything at all.  Can you understand this and put it into practice…??

The beauty behind the garbage.

Life itself is the most natural and divine organism, an ongoing process, something which moves forward and brings rich lessons–from pain and joy–always to learn to experience true love and happiness as unique individuals.  And we may say that it is all for the sake of physical experiences to have.  The human mind is a whole different creature though, conditioned, full of lust, anger, passions, selfish ideas and concepts, bias views and beliefs; so, we may say the human mind is not natural as life in its purity is.  The mind in this state of ignorance is always trying to find answers and fix what is not truly broken–“What is the meaning of life?,” “Who or what is God?,” “What lies for me after I die?,” “How do I become Enlightened?,” “Why are women so delicate and emotional?,” “Why are men so stubborn and violent?,” etc. etc.

36975869_498699603896740_3673043876781752320_n

And exactly all this pointless questioning makes the mind dull, busy, confused, always going on a loop which feeds the ego and brings more questions, more seeking, more opinions, more concepts, more pointless knowledge.  All this conditioning creates an abyss, a distance between life itself or its reality and the reality this mind has built out of its own content; so that now life is not beautiful anymore, because this abyss or distance brings frustration and does not allow you to actually enjoy it purely.  While the mind is busy fixing moral dilemmas and philosophies, asking questions and arguing answers, while it is trying to understand the complexities of a relationship, while it is seeking God or a meaning of life, you live in your own little world which prevents you from absolutely seeing the beauty of a simple tree on your yard or celebrating the fact that you are breathing.

And so, because the mind is always trying to fix and find solutions, arguing and trying to be superior, then stress and problems cloud judgement and vanish purity.  Now life passes you by while you are drowning in your own egoistical activities.  So your mind becomes your experience of life now, and your mind is full of confusion and questions.  Is this your experience of life…??…  So, perhaps your mind must be stopped and emptied from so much questioning, and believing, and conceptualizing; and from ruling your life, so you get to be free from this mental sickness which only stresses you and distances you from experiencing bliss in your own life.

freedom-guys-mental-clutter1
Life is not as serious and complicated, as ugly and threatening, as the mind makes it to be; but this is the content of our minds making it so, this is the pointless seeking, questioning, doubting, the arguing, etc. etc. You must empty your mind from all this pointless garbage, be free of it and bring new energy into your life, new characters, new moods, more positive views.

The Illumination!

What is being a whole human being if not embracing all you are, including all your experiences–good and bad…??  If you hate something in your past, doesn’t it mean you hate some part of you…??  If you hate some part of you then, can you truly know and embrace yourself…??  The memories you have, the cruel past, the joyful past–it is all you are as a human being, is it not…??
36904417_497958547304179_3376714231691870208_n

I have said many times before, as a human being all you are is your mind, and that is a bundle of memories–i.e., you think and live the way you do because of the influence and things taught to you by family and society, you like what you like because you have been programmed subconsciously since childhood, you react emotionally the way you do because you have learned from others.  All this is you!  The past has shaped you into who you are today.  Your character, your beliefs, your traditions, your lifestyle, the way you handle your hurt, the way you handle your joy, etc.—it is all borrowed.  Unless you are truly awakened, truly enlightened, you remain attached to all this–or maybe to some part of it.  Realize this within yourself through self-analysis and wisdom.  Do not agree or disagree with me about this; it is irrelevant if you do, for only truth matters, not opinions.  Opinions are of the ego; truth is of the heart or of that which is eternal in you.

If you are, as a human being, memories and all past experiences, does it truly make sense to hate or fear any memory or experience you have lived…??  The death of my father is why I am who I am today; if he was alive I would still be religious and my mind still would be confused and lost.  If you got divorced–that experience helped giving you lessons.  If you got sick–that leads you to overcome that pain, the aim is to make you wiser and stronger.  If you still pay school and you never finished–that is a lesson as well.  In order to understand your difficult or cruel past, or any past at all, you must love it, you must love the whole of you; opposite to this, if you try to escape it or fear it, talk badly about it or hate the experience, then you will remain broken, in pieces, not whole.

Accept that as a human being you are your past and the memories and experiences which shaped you, so then you can entirely love who you are and who you have become…  When you entirely love who you are and who you have become, then you shall hurt no more and great and divine understanding will illumine your conscience…
DeconstructingTheDream24x36
Illumination is the lighting of your human conscience, no more and no less. It is started or experienced in you when you forgive your past and see or realize that all you have gone through–whether it was forced upon you or not–serves a purpose. Once you truly realize and embrace this you become whole–which means you do not see memories as hurt anymore, you love your memories because you understand that you are them as a human. And so, now you are not confused and damaged by your past, there is no pain in you and no more superficial masks to hold for yourself and for others–because you are free to be yourself 100%. Emotionally free! Psychologically strong! Spiritually illumined!

What happens under that Bodhi Tree…??

You know you’re eating too much and the wrong foods for your health.  You do realize that you always try to win instead of seeing the truth and learning from it.  You recognize your own stubbornness and yet you keep doing the same old things and remaining with the same thoughts and behaviors.  And you do a lot of other nonsense you are aware you do, but still you tell yourself lies to cover your own weaknesses, don’t you…??  Why do you keep doing this over and over again, and then you read about how to be better, you watch enlightening videos, you talk about love and the things you have read, you share this stupid knowledge with people and arrogantly you make yourself a Buddha…??

Why…??  I mean, is this to be truly intelligent…??
2b7af95b092adb9c31c8ad1249142949
You do everything, you seek everything out in the world–you go to yoga class in groups, you go to church, you read so-called “spiritual” texts, you buy the latest from the spiritual teachers in literary form, you ask people you trust how to live and decide better in your own life; but you never actually go to the root of the problem beyond your own ego–because all this knowledge you acquire from the world, as nice as it can be, goes to your mind, to your ego.  But the ego does not know truth, love, or divinity–all that information you have is the program that enslaves you, that stops you from going inwardly.  But you don’t think it does, do you…??  And that is exactly your greatest weakness, your downfall.
The sacred road to self-discovery is the best and the most intelligent one can take in life, because life is all about inner growth, through self-awareness, by watching and realizing the activities of your own ego keeping you from experiencing true love, happiness, the truth in all things.
But not just self-awareness, which is the easy part; but by serious meditation through focusing on your breath with no-thought; for only meditation can bring you in touch with what lies beyond all that information/all that ego you have.  Meditation shouldn’t make you feel like you cannot do it, for this fear is what keeps you away from ever starting; through meditation you must be patient because your rushing mind must get used to it first.  You practice over and over again; that is how you become a Buddha and achieve a constant state of Illumination–i.e., you do not run away from the demons of boredom and anxiety taunting you and trying to deviate you from deep meditation and from staying on your breath.

buddha-and-bodhi
Everything and the most important things, the basic things for a good existence as a human being–i.e., true love, wisdom, peace, harmony, freedom, great understanding–are inside you, not out there–i.e., not in religions, scriptures, governments, family, relationships, group classes of any kind. If you approach all these things without embracing the important things that are discovered inside you, then your life will be a hell, a confusion on true love and happiness, and all sorts of mental demons will cloud your thinking and behaving.
But you persevere, and persevere, and persevere… Don’t be a naive fool and think outer achievements, outer seeking, will make you a better, wiser human being, but meditate as the Buddha under that Bodhi Tree; and during your active day learn from your mistakes, pay attention to all you do to rise as a new being of illumination, as a very god of wisdom and great understanding.

Letting go…

cant-control-let-go

What is it which you seek to understand…??  Why do you always want that control…??–to always know everything, to always fix everything.  Can’t you see that freedom from all your pain, from all your problems, is in letting go…??

Your ego is not master of your house, only the moment is, the Now; thus, you must stop all thought and overthinking, allow the past to stay in the past, and you embrace the moment.  No pain or suffering, no confusion or frustration lives in the moment.  The heart lives in the moment.  Love lives in the moment.  And whatever lives in the mind, in the ego, as a thought or image, whether nice or not, is of time and space, chained to moods, likes and dislikes.  Whatever the mind can tell you is memories, knowledge, beliefs, deceits; and that is why the mind and overthinking is addictive, and such addiction is misery, is more thinking, is more slavery, is continuous attachment, is not letting go…

Letting go…

Whatever I know is what confuses me,
Whatever I seek is what escapes me,
Whoever I am is far beyond knowing;
My ego’s identity is always overflowing.
When my beliefs and fears arise I am not,
When words are appearing I am caught.
Why should I follow this false name…??
The vapors of the careless mind to blame.
The mind is misery away from a pure heart;
The process of letting go is the soul’s art
Through patience and faith I find me there,
And if I pay full attention love is everywhere.

Mists_of_Colors
Letting go is to be highly aware of your memories and all thinking, to be aware of your own ego and its ignorant activities, to not dwell on hurt.  You do not escape from memories, from thoughts, but you do not dwell and overthink either.  Why…??  Because you love yourself so much that you shall not allow an undisciplined mind to ruin your mood and depress you, but you allow love to expand in you by focusing on living the moment with joy and ideas to better your future.

The Hell of Your Passions.

36599553_492361057863928_1620558617537150976_n
Seeing through your own desires and passions (all products of your ego) is a challenge we all must face and overcome in order to see truth as it is.  In order to know true, everlasting love you must see beyond the burning desire, passion, and lust you feel for someone.  In order to know great health you must see beyond your selfish and capricious cravings for popular foods.  In order to really know God you must empty your mind from beliefs and literature and go beyond the popular mind of society.   In order to know freedom you must leave beliefs, traditions, and lifestyles taught to you by society–including family, religion and all unproven literature.
We may say all this is the inferno of the passions of the unawakened man, because this and more are blinding forms of self-destruction, self-imposed, which bring anxiety, stress, anger, fear, and confusion to mankind.  All this creates attachment in the weak mind–attachment to beliefs, ideas, lifestyles, views on life.  And whenever this clashes or is opposed by others, there is hell–there is contention, war, hatred, prejudice, jealousy, and the rest.  Can you see this for yourself…??  Can you see how the human mind is weakened by all this man-made knowledge and selfishness of the ego…??
60e03-hhh

To overcome all this is to rise from the inferno of your own passions, it is to stop thought and its ruling on your life, so you may be guided by the truth which lies beyond your desires and selfish passions.  And this is the whole purpose of human existence, this is why you have been endowed with self-awareness over other animals; so you may see these weaknesses in yourself, empty your mind and go beyond it, find your true self and rise over the inferno of your human desires and passions.

All this so you can see through life and society, and so create a newer, more blissful life for yourself; thus, a life with no struggle, a life where you see the tricks of your own mind, a life where fear is no more, a life where you have much more intuition and empathy, a life where you are truly the god or goddess you seek, and a life where you are true love and so you bring exactly that into all your relationships
263594_468561843182959_1149598379_n
Life is full of challenges and situations which frustrate you and anger you so you learn to rise over the hell of your own ignorance, over your own passions and desires thus you can know love, God, harmony, freedom, and true happiness.

The Habits of The Strong.

1200px-Shukracharya_and_Kacha

One cowardly person came to a master of martial arts and asked to teach him bravery.  The master looked at him and said, “I will teach you only with one condition:  for one month you will have to live in a big city and tell every person that you meet on your way that you are a coward.  You will have to say it loudly, openly and looking straight into the person’s eyes.”
This person got really sad, because this task seemed very scary to him.  For a couple of days he was very sad and thoughtful, but to live with his cowardice was so unbearable that he traveled to the city to accomplish his mission anyway.  At first, when meeting the passers, he quailed, lost his speech and couldn’t contact anyone; but he needed to finish the master’s task, so he began to overcome himself.  When he came up to his first passer to tell about his cowardice, it seemed to him that he would die from fear–he was trembling, anxious, and even feeling some physical pain out of his mental fear.  But then his voice sounded louder and more confident with every passing day.  Suddenly came a moment, when the man caught himself thinking that he wasn’t scared anymore; and the further he continued doing the master’s task, the more convinced he was that the fear was abandoning him for good.
Ashwatthama_with_Vyasa
That way a month had passed.  The once-cowardly person came back to the master, bowed to him and said, “Thank you, master. I finished your task.  Now I’m not afraid anymore.  But how did you know that this strange task will help me…??”
The wise teacher smiled and said, “The thing is that cowardice is only a habit.  And by doing the things that scare us, we can destroy the stereotypes and come to a conclusion that is actually real of who we truly are.  And now you know that bravery is also a habit.  And if you want to make bravery a part of yourself, you need to move forward into the fear.  Then the fear will go away, and bravery will take its place.”

So, remind yourself always that habits shape who you are as a human being.  As a spiritual being, obviously, you are perfect–strong, determined, wise, confident, talented.  But as a human being only good, thoughtful and serious habits can mold you into this superior human being filled with confidence and bravery to do anything you desire with a good heart.

So, pay attention to what you do from the moment you wake up to the moment you close your eyes to sleep, be disciplined, do what makes your ego uncomfortable, do what is right for your growth and not what you desire on a stupid whim…  Beat your fears.  They are just thoughts…
