Better lives

Too much anxiety

I feel that worry is only truly useful when we can change an outcome. Too much worry, that anxiety that makes you feel fearful and frustrated, self-doubt and self-conscious, can be really damaging for our well-being.

I’m not talking about the worry of the mother for her son on his 1st day of school. I’m talking about the worry of, for example, what other people think of you, or the worry that comes from thinking about the job you applied for, or the worry from your financial situation that is also stressing you and making you angry even with the people around you.

Just do your best

We live better lives if we are brave, which means detaching ourselves from this useless worry and anxiety, letting go from the mental ritual of overthinking. I always say ‘I’ll change whatever I can. The rest is not up to me’. Life is a roller coaster. Up and down.

Sometimes we don’t even know where it’s going. But the only power, the greatest power we have in fact, is to steer our mind into greater purpose. This means that we should seek to be more serene and easygoing. Go with the flow. Do our best, let the rest be.

What nourishes your soul…??

“Veils of fear to drop.”

If I could only show you this love story,
If you could only see the flames yourself;
But it goes far beyond this fake world,
And its passion is seen not by the eyes.

Passing through the garden of past burdens,
You have to fly over the waters of anxiety,
Then you’ll soar across the skies of self-doubt,
And over the rainbow of the self and its voices.

This is about finding the greatest freedom,
And about letting your heart inspire you.
This is about allowing the veils of fear to drop,
And about following what nourishes your soul.

The truth of it

The intimate enemy

Let’s be honest with ourselves. Addictions are bad habits. The unawareness in most of us always tells us that we are in control. But is that really true….?? Think about it. Let’s think about the daily things:

Many are addicted to sugar. Many others to alcohol. Many to negative thinking. Many more to jealousy. An addiction is a program running in your subconscious, running you daily, whether you accept it or not.

Your subconscious tells your mind and body how to behave, what to like and dislike, what to crave and obsess over. And all of it unbeknownst to you as part of your day-to-day persona.

Waking up

These programs have been adopted in our pasts (childhood mostly). And it is exactly what makes human beings automatons, robots; when we are not aware of the unhealthy programs running us.

See, it is not about the establishment, the elite, the government, religions, little “rebellious” groups on social media, etc. It is about each one of us individually. The challenge is to wake up from your own dream, from your own unhealthy habits/the illusions from your past holding you back.

Your own space

My creative space

Currently writing the 1st chapters of my new book, #5 in the series, “Son of Darkness”. (By the way, sorry for the obscurity of the image below. The day I took that photo was a very dull and cloudy day and not much light entered the window of my room.)


This is my small place to be. The nook where I create my joy. My simple desk, where I make things happen and I create my stories. Everybody needs a place where they feel passionate, secure, creative, confident.

A place where you can recharge and wrestle with your thoughts, self-explore and come up with greater insights for your life. I hope you have a place of your own, whatever and wherever that place is.

It’s about getting rid of stress, self-heal, add more deep thinking to come up with new ideas, and strengthening the trust and belief in yourself. Because it’s all about health of body and mind to be able to love yourself and your life entirely.

Growth…

A storm in Paradise

We are all of it. We are the good. The not so good. The love. The fear. The capacity for joy. The capacity for misery. The voice that lives in the past, in the present, in the future. And I personally do not deny it, because I see it as a strength.

Never escape your troubles, your feelings of pain and misery, whatever you carry from your past, your struggles to be healthy, etc. It is all about embracing who you are, and then using all you are to become the best you can be.

That is the journey to seize in life. The journey of self-discovery, of uniqueness, of creation. If my mind tries to escape or label something as bad, then fear grips me and I am its slave. The key is doing things from love, not from fear.

Cosmic forces

Ying & Yang

Health. Higher self-awareness. A strengthened spirit. Or Ying Yang balance. Two opposite forces or cosmic energies that complement each other and that live within us all.

Let’s just say what makes us human. It is our duality. The voices of negativity in your head. The voices of positivity in your head. Or as religion’s imagination goes: Angels and Demons, God and The Devil.

Positive & Negative

So, when we allow the forces of negativity to totally consume the way we think, we become filled with self-pity, with jealousy, with feelings of worthlessness and anger–all which leads us to physical illness.

And when we allow the forces of positivity to totally consume the way we think, we become overconfident, we lose connection with the pain and suffering of the world, we start to become naïve and emotionally swindled or controlled by others.

That is why to reach a balance in our lives, and in ourselves, is so important.

Excellence is reaching balance

So, from my experience, I thought about sharing some important benefits of reaching a healthy balance between the two:

-Inner peace and finding that true love for yourself (identity).

-Reduced anxiety, which leads to greater intelligence and creativity.

-Improved intuition, which guides you in life to make less fatal mistakes.

-Understanding your life’s true purpose, which leads you to find your true happiness.

Be free, step up

Respect yourself, walk away

Someone disrespectful to you, or aggressive, or unsupportive, does not deserve your time and attention. People have different experiences, so they see things differently in life.

We can change, but most of our subconscious programming comes from childhood; so people might be unaware as adults of the damage they’re causing you due to their own early burdens. Try not to remain attached to their ignorance.

After all, is your life

Your life is about your self-development, and this requires your full attention, and this requires that you let go of any resentment or frustration you may feel towards another. Do it for you, not for anybody else. Because it is always up to you to become free.

We remain true lovers…

“The Dance of The Lover.”

The stories of birth and death,
Two extremes of the same substance.
What matters is what bestows immortality,
Moments of happiness chosen in between.

And as a wild flower blooming is all I am,
It’s the attention given to discover myself.
And when I gaze upon glimmering stars,
Time stops and my mind loses its weight.

Within stardust I see all a human being is.
I see you and me dancing in the heights.
And then we gain eternal life in this miracle.
Just gazing at ourselves in the essence of love.
Even though we’re far apart from each other,
Through this dancing we remain true lovers.

Strengthening the bonds of love

True love is constant development

And that is the whole problem in society today, in how people have programmed themselves to recognize love. Just because you have opened your heart and mind to somebody, you think you deserve the same in return.

Or just because you are married, you start expecting unconditional and unquestionable affection and loyalty. But being human, when it comes to love, involves passion, commitment, desire, respect, always understanding more and more of how to keep that flame alive.

True love is wholeness

So love is not a given. We must develop ourselves further, better, and expand our understanding of that love. This includes all of it–the emotional part, the psychological part, the physical part, the sensual and sexual parts.

True love is wholeness, not just your poor understanding of it, not just what is known on the surface, not just what everybody else does. Learn more, because love is a mixture of many things to be mastered; and those things start as knowledge in different topics to expand your understanding, which never ends because it’s a journey to grow and grow until your last breath.

Your power/Your value

Aware of people

I think this is very personal and it goes with the unique experience you have in life. But it is crucial to remain aware of the people you trust, because sometimes people may ignore your feelings or abuse your good will. There is no evil people per se out there, but there is indeed highly ignorant people everywhere.

Nature of progress

Forgiving is of the better human being, because it is letting go of frustration and anger, of feelings of betrayal and neglect to move on with your life, to create a better you. But, having established this better nature of progress, the first thing is self-respect.

See your true value

Respect yourself enough to say “no more” or “I deserve better”. And this self-respect begins the moment you see your true value and stop leaning on others for love and happiness, for acceptance and approval. Free yourself. Awaken yourself.
