The Light of Pure Love.

Loving with purity

You only get hurt when the way you love has attachment. Pure love has no attachment. To love with this purity, you must first love yourself above everybody and anything else. Pure love then only exists when there is higher understanding in you.

An understanding that the very existence of pure love in your life is only created by you, strengthened by you, and sanctified by you. The world suffers from lack of this higher understanding. Don’t join the world. Live in it, but don’t join it.

Problems when loving yourself

Our love is not pure, not true, non-existent, when we allow our minds to become overwhelmed by the world around us. If something bad happens, the mind is allowed to suffer for it, via self-pity, via anger and frustration. This distorts love and it shifts our attention to the illusion, and the illusion is what is out there. What matters is what is inside you, because how you feel is what’s real.

Feeling better

The journey is about self-discovery. Self-discovery cannot exist without our complete attention. So, we have to let go of what happens in the world, in our lives, the suffering, the childhood traumas, etc; and then we can focus 100% on how we feel, on working on feeling better, on self-discovery and healing. Once we do this, we can start to accept and love ourselves.

The habits

There is nothing more important than accepting and loving ourselves. This is not being selfish, but this is about filling yourself with empathy, kindness, love, in order to live a more positive, happy, successful life while giving the example to others. And for this, we must work on self-healing habits. Habits which make us feel proud of ourselves, joyful, and of great value to us.

I only seek the magic that’s within me.  While most grow up and forget, I just desire to remember it again.

The reality of the self.

Why is laughter the best medicine..??

Because of how you feel. Because of the state of your mind. Because when you laugh, smile, make the negative into the positive, your mind and body go through a miraculous transformation. This transformation makes you shift your awareness, and so you feel better about yourself and your life.

Why does awareness matter…??

Awareness is conscious attention. When it comes to our minds everything is attention. If you focus (put attention) on the world, you will feel however the world wants you to feel. If you focus on yourself, you will feel however you choose to feel. Attention shifted inwardly is self-awareness, because your attention focuses on yourself and on how you feel.

Why increase in self-awareness…??

The more self-awareness, the less capacity the world and the situations in it have to affect you. You can feel sad, frustrated, angry; but, when your self-awareness levels are high, then your mind will be free and it’ll be easier for you to let the negativity go. When the negativity goes, you now can focus on cleaning your mind and bringing more positivity to it. This makes it easier to keep moving forward, think more clearly, and feel more love and happiness in your life.

Building the dream…

Life is for the brave

This life is just a dream where we create our own experiences as we go along. We have joy, we suffer, we find excitement, we find misery, we fight negativity, we are brave enough to keep being positive even in the challenges. So, we live by keeping the dream alive and by creating the best dream with what we got.

Our brains create the dream. The very real dream. Your brain then tells stories to itself. Stories you make come alive through your will to experience them. Experiencing them is to act on them, and sometimes we need bravery, and we need to let go of the sadness and misery we may feel.

Push yourself. Imagine the best outcome.

There is no point in thinking, believing, allowing the negative in our minds. Overthinking kills the dream, it pollutes it. I always imagine the best for me, does not matter what my situation is; for the mind is as strong as the thoughts we allow it to have, so allow your mind to have the best thoughts.

Push yourself through the fear of not knowing what will happen, and do it with patience and faith. That is how we build the best dreams. And that is the purpose of this physical life, and it is found in the journey as you push yourself through it all.

Self-discipline to happiness.

We are born to discover life, to discover happiness in life. It is in ourselves, but our minds need something to do, something to bring discipline to our lives; thus we can be focused and discover that happiness within ourselves. If we have no discipline in our lives, or if we have no self-discipline, then our minds get restless, frustrated in life; and then we start building self-pity, anger, anxiety.

So, the mind is just like a child. If a child is not given structure and discipline by his parents, then the child becomes spoiled, obnoxious, impulsive and obstinate; and even worse, he starts becoming a bully and annoying others. The mind then must have the structure needed to be more self-aware, which is to look inwardly.

If the mind seeks love and happiness in others, in money, in relationships, in society, then the same mind loses self-awareness, because it starts focusing outwardly and not inwardly. So, to stay and focus inwardly is extremely important to have goals. Having goals requires self-discipline, because you must focus daily on strengthening that goal or goals.

You must be patient and work little by little, learn everything you can while paying attention to the smallest details. This structures the mind. This strengthens the mind. This helps you become more self-aware. Self-awareness is looking within to finally discover that happiness.

Enjoy it now

Life can be complicated. One might live with confusion. What to do?? I don’t have the money I need. The deadline is coming! What choice do I make?! What did I do wrong?? And many more like this. So many of us live constantly in our heads, in our busy and anxious minds; and this is what we must realize in ourselves. Nothing matters more than realizing this in life, because in order to live and enjoy fully our moments we need to understand that love and happiness is not in the chase we do. It’s not in money, even though we live in a society and we must pay for what we consume. It’s not in seeking better education and thinking about future exams and study, even though it is important to design a good future in society.

It is now. The joy, the love, the value is now. In the things, relationships, situations you have. It is about paying attention to all this. And it doesn’t really matter if we have much or not. And it doesn’t really matter if we live in a paradise or not. And what about the kind of job we have?? It doesn’t matter either. The only thing that can get us to real joy is our own attention. Attention into what our lives are now. Find the passion, the positivity, the motivation, the purpose and value in you by always taking time to enjoy and bring positive attitude to your current situation, moment, people around you.

When my mind goes into the future, thinking about certain outcome, pondering what I could get. Or when my mind goes to the past, asking myself what went wrong, what did I do, why something failed. When this happens then, I instantly focus on getting away from this and putting all my energy in the now, in my family, in my writing, in being with my dog, in enjoying a nice day outside, etc. etc. Because it is natural that the mind will always pull us one way, making us feel anxious, chasing money, hunting for better opportunities; but it is our responsibility to shift our attention and love ourselves and our lives now. Without questioning. Without making excuses. Just live it, enjoy it now.

The Way…

The key is in observing the pain, not running away from it.

We all struggle, we all carry our burdens; however, one must understand that they are there for a reason.

What is life without this understanding…??

Much more pain, struggle, unhappiness, frustration and anger.

I’ve had much pain growing up. I’ve suffered my own struggles, like I’m sure you’ve suffered yours. We are all still suffering in some aspect. Finances. Relationships. Illnesses. Psychological and emotional burdens. The past. The future. There is always some pain and tragedy in our lives, and quite often we bury these deeply within ourselves so we don’t show weaknesses. It is a subconscious choice to bury the pain and seek to escape it or ignore it through some other distraction or entertainment. Maybe through work. Perhaps through eating. Maybe through seeking relationships. Or through some kind of denial process. But this is really unhealthy. The key is to feel free, confident, powerful, by yourself, in yourself, to create a better life; but with all this pain it becomes impossible sometimes.

But have you ever asked yourself, seriously, why the pain, the hurt, the suffering happens…?? Why do we all go through so much?? What is the point?? Suffering comes out of our choices, even when we don’t know that they will bring suffering. But suffering is meant to teach you something, to awaken you into some aspect of life, to push you to become better. Of course, if we deny this, or if we remain angry and arrogant, then we won’t learn anything; because in order to actually learn from the suffering our minds must be free of any anxiety. If there is anxiety, anger and the rest, then we will pay attention to it while missing the lesson of that struggle or hurt.

I am talking about the choice we unconsciously make of attaching ourselves to our self-pity, to our mental drama, to our depression, to our past memories of pain, and to all those things that create a lot of overthinking in our minds. Overthinking makes the suffering worse. Overthinking does not help, because it brings more pointless questions and drama instead of helping us move on. And, in order to understand your life and your suffering, then you have to calm your mind, observe your own choice to attach your attention to mental drama. You must be aware of your own mind. Awareness is putting attention not on the event that happened, not on the memory; but it is putting attention on your own reactive feelings towards what happened to change them, and it is not choosing to suffer those events. Because in order to move on and be happy creating a better life, then you must leave attachment to the images and words of suffering in your mind. To be happy, you have to free your mind of struggle and pain. You must choose this all the time.

Why do you feel lonely…??

What is loneliness…??

What is that feeling of emptiness one tries to always escape…??

And why do people tend to do this over and over again??

It all stems from feeling lonely, even subconsciously. Humans have created a heaven, a hell, God, Satan, spirits and a spiritual realm waiting after this life, etc, because they feel lonely. Humankind feels lonely. This is also why everyone seeks relationships, even if they’re not ready for them. Violent arguments, wars, seeking to feel superior, richer and more prosperous than another, bullying, feelings of hate towards another. It is all about feeling alone, feeling isolated, feeling empty deep inside and putting on a mask to hide how they truly feel. So, in reality, this has nothing to do with the people around you, or the people that is not around you, or the things you’ve accomplished in life, or the things you haven’t accomplished in life. This is about becoming content, accepted, joyful in yourself, by yourself.

The worst mistake, the addictive drug, is when one feels lonely and immediately seeks other people, relationships, groups of any kind, money and position in society to escape one’s loneliness. This makes your anxiety and lack of self-love even greater in you. From my own experience, I can tell you that awakening, enlightenment, complete self-love, or however you want to call it, is about getting acquainted with your own feelings of loneliness. Escaping makes you weaker, more troubled, it diminishes your moral character towards yourself. Facing your fears of loneliness, you become your fears of loneliness; and soon afterwards, this familiarity becomes your normal.

And now you’ve become stronger, without having to run to somebody else for comfort or validation. Because if you really can make the act of being by yourself joyous and a source of happiness and love for you, then you get to strengthen yourself; and this is an inner strength which nobody, and no problem in life, can take away from you. When this magic inside you happens, from that moment on, you never give up, you never feel less, you never feel rejection, you never feel troubled or inferior to another. This personal process has made you a human being of greater moral qualities and character, and such is a human being who has enlightened himself, with complete confidence, with greater love and purpose, with a vast determination and self-discipline to be constantly happy in his life.

What makes our lives…??

What makes us be who we are…??

Even if we do not want to be what we are, why are we what we are…??

The greatest mistake of people is to allow themselves to be guided by their circumstances and/or situations. Most of us carry ourselves and our habits, our moral compass and the ways to see life, according to how we feel in the moment. But how we feel in the moment will pass. Falling in love, that passion felt at first, this will pass; and it will require your commitment and loyalty to make the relationship work more than the passion felt. And how about good nutrition…?? If you are used to eating unhealthily since youth, then you will eat unhealthily in your older years; because your mind is used to eating as in youth.

This is why you begin training your mind in loyalty and commitment now, so relationships will work no matter what happens in your life. And about eating, the same. You begin training your mind in health rather than flavor now, so later in your more mature years you will greatly avoid problems for lack of health. Out of all these moral habits you built then, your mind becomes stronger, more expanded into intelligence and understanding of morality, and you enjoy life much more, and happiness joins you along your life’s journey. And that is what we all want, isn’t it…?? In this way, or in the other way, we all want happiness.

See, the real power, the real capacity to be great, is not in your situations, in where you were born, in the childhood you had, or in the fluctuations of this immoral society; but it is in you, because your mind is the creator of all you experience. If you drink alcohol, you chose to put poison in your body; so your mind will give you your experiences accordingly. If you choose to see your life in a negative way, your mind will give you more negativity in your life. Your mind is a magnet for whatever you experience in life. So, to remain aware of what you do daily is to watch carefully what you accept as your mind’s content. Your habits become what and who you are.

The aware life

Why is the world the way it is…?? How to see past this..?? How to let go of my own negativity…??

The world can be challenging, people dying of hunger, illnesses, great natural disasters, and every immoral choice you can imagine. No one can deny this. You can see this wherever you look.

But it is in us to wake up each morning and find some miracle in our lives. Instead of thinking about the worst that could happen, I think about the positive that will happen. The positive that will happen is not about what will happen per se; but about my own mental attitude, the content of my thoughts, me letting go of anxiety no matter what happens. It is about my mental freedom. If my self-talk steers away from harmony, if the voices in my head start seeking the negative and loudly shout the pain from failure, then it means that I must become more aware of myself and steer my thoughts towards something positive and helpful in my day.

How you feel, and how you experience life, will be a result of your daily self-talk. Do you punish yourself because you “failed” at something?? Are you judgmental in the way you see your moments in life?? What about the voices in your head about your past…?? Are they loud and always bringing up the heartache and tragedies you lived?? Can you let go of this?? Can you not remain attached to the voices that bring anxiety into your life?? Because if you want happiness, you must let go, you must train your mind to seek positivity in the negative, to see the beauty in the ugly. Not saying this is easy, but just saying this is the only way.

Please see my article about happiness here: The essence of happiness. We can then say that a person’s character is his/her daily thinking. I will become the lover of my life, no matter what happens in it, if I remain self-aware, which is to remain focused in my daily self-talk. I will be what I tell myself daily. If I tell myself daily that life is struggle and that nobody gives me a chance, then that is the way I will remain; because this kind of self-talk is not giving me hope and strength to become better than I am now. But if I tell myself that I can get better and that I will keep on looking for better opportunities, then I will get stronger and change my life; because this kind of self-talk gives me hope and it revives my human spirit.

And it is all about keeping that flame alive (the human spirit), that passion for life which resides in you, maybe buried deeply; however, it never disappears completely as long as you are alive, so seek it. This is your challenge in life. This is my challenge in life. We are all here to keep that flame alive. Because life gets better only in this way.

Becoming better at life

What is there to smile about…??

Where are the positive things…??

Why is life so unfair…??

How do I find the laughter, the joy, the inspiration…??

Look within you past your own thoughts of negativity. For a moment, forget your finances, the people you don’t tolerate, the things you dislike about yourself and your life.

We all have something to be thankful for. But sometimes we focus on the negatives, what goes wrong in our lives, maybe we don’t make enough money, perhaps have relationship problems, etc. Also, it could be that we remain attached to what goes on in the world right now, maybe Covid, perhaps the fact that people are suffering because of this. Whenever we want to think about something negative, we will find it. Easily find it. And the human mind is attracted to “easily,” which means the human mind, in most of us, tends to gravitate towards something which doesn’t require much thought. I spent my Thanksgiving with family. Obviously, not all family due to Covid-19. I remained focused on my freedom. I quickly thought about all the negatives and things which need to be fixed in my life, and then I thought about all the daily things to keep myself grateful. I rediscovered that the positive things give me inspiration, strength to keep going and become better at fixing patiently that which I may find to be negative in my life. And that is just it. We have to look deeply inside ourselves and leave our problems aside, find the little things which can inspire us in our lives. This may be easy or not. But it is always possible.

To be happy in your life, you must do this. A Happy Life Now. You must understand that your troubles do not compare themselves to your blessings. I don’t know you, and I don’t need to know you to tell you this. Because you may be having all the problems you have, but you are alive and you have the capacity to look forward to fix whatever needs to be fixed. Or maybe whatever needs to be fixed really is just a wakeup call, or perhaps a challenge which exists to help you see things in a different perspective in order to change. Change helps you become better at your own life because it brings you awakening, intelligence, and it increases your capacity to see what you didn’t see before about your own life. So, seek the positive, as small as this may be; and keep a mind and heart of gratitude.
