Slaying monsters.

So, what is life…?? And what is your purpose in life?? Too often, we might think that these are very personal questions, and they certainly are. No one can tell you what your purpose is, or what life is. Not even your mother. This is something very personal that you discover as you mature mentally and emotionally. But to discover it, you need a sense of curiosity and adventure. Curiosity and adventure to do what you must and explore the unknown to you.

Because your mind might make you fearful, intimidated, shy before something or someone. This fear might cripple you, make you feel worthless or hurt some way. The nights are long and the days torture when you cower or belittle yourself. These are, of course, barriers; and they are meant to be there. Be glad they are there. Be aware that they are there to help you forge yourself. Life is a big test, and they are its tools to test you.

So, in order to feel true happiness and love, you must be befriend these barriers. Why…?? Because, if you don’t befriend them and keep them as your enemy instead, then your mind will live in a state of constant anxiety. And what does anxiety do…?? It cripples you, it takes over your immune system and it makes you ill. It also gives you bad mood swings, it makes you feel paranoid like life and everyone is against you. So, conquer your fears by making them your friend; and by doing what you must without excuses.

The Greatest Exploration

Life can be dauting, and that is the challenge and opportunity to become better. Sometimes things seem like they cannot be done, because someone else had a bad experience with it, or because many have not achieved anything in that field; however, we are all different and have different capacities. And the best, we learn as we go. You cannot know until you start.

And once you start, commit to it faithfully. Let no one tell you that you can’t, or that it cannot be done. Remember, learn through the process, break barriers, and become better as you go. To become better is why you are here, not to stay as you are. Life is exploration, and exploration requires courage and a love for your own development.

Accept your human condition.

1796868-Eckhart-Tolle-Quote-When-you-live-in-complete-acceptance-of-what

The human mind in survival mode is when our ego suffers, because of a loss, because of embarrassment, because of lies, because of this and that.  And this suffering, evidently, brings about the need (attachment) to escape it.

This happens whenever one suffers, attachment, this nagging need to change into joy or happiness our experience; however, this reaction to suffering is not conducive to the development of the human condition.

And the human condition must be accepted in each one of us, just as it is, pleasant or unpleasant; for your responsibility is not to force your human condition but to accept it, because in acceptance there is your strength, your wise development, the rich essence of moral values growing within you.

So, do not make yourself anxious, overwhelmed by stress and screaming survival mode, whenever you suffer or stand in front of a difficult situation; but welcome whatever you experience, do not complain and try to run away as fast as you can, be strong and allow your life to open your inner eye of understanding.

The worst you can do in life is to deny a situation by forcing change or by fearing it, even if it is extremely painful to you.  Forcing something is bullying something into change; life, as you, do not respond well to violence or bullying.

You must become one with your challenges, losses, difficult situations, thus in order to remain aware and anchored to life so to find the answers to move forward and create better futures.

Fear to suffering is your enemy.

Love brought into your suffering is what you must seek and so befriend.

The Way I must Go.

It can be frustrating and daunting to make up one’s mind amidst important life decisions, and it can be truly difficult when drowning in one’s sorrow and confusion in such moments; however, one must remind oneself that no matter how difficult the situation there is always a way to see light and get rid of anxiety.

It is one’s mind the one which gets clouded and confused, drowning in situations and claiming that there is no solution; so, it is one’s mind then the one to be explored and pacified, so that we may become harmony and clarity to create better experiences even in the midst of sorrows and challenges.

“The way I must go”

I met in life situations of thick mud
And I felt lost, filled with deep rage,
Going nowhere, stuck and sad.
Was there in my life another page…??

So I made mistakes quite often,
Paid dearly for each one of those;
But the very falls I tried to soften,
Still my blind mind was full of woes.

But in truth mud is water and dirt,
All nature to help the flower grow;
However I be stubborn and curt,
It is past my ego the way I must go.

I shall be remembering this memory,
Ages and ages to come in my path;
The lessons gave me always energy,
Even though I suffered them a lot.

Stronger.

inspirational-quote-keep-rising-ENTITY-800x720

Life is full of lessons and opportunities.  Lessons can bring us growth in every aspect, if we allow the lessons to do such a thing in our experience, if we do indeed see past the frustration and the suffering in order to learn.

And, if we see past the anger and frustration, the anxiety and the pain we feel at times, we may then absorb the lesson, master ourselves slowly with each new experience; hence, we grow and we encounter better opportunities to be and acquire more, to feel happier, to be more successful in every aspect.

But, of course, this is not automatic and fast, you must develop the divine trait of patience; for patience gives you determination, commitment, wisdom in life.  He who has infinite patience can know true love and happiness; because infinite patience allows your mind time to see and find this within you.

And wisdom is needed, absolutely, because in life you have challenges at each step you take, you have temptations offering you what you desire if you have less moral values and ethical behaviors, you have anger and neglect from others around you, you have many things with which you have to deal every day.

And if you fall into temptation or if you commit a mistake, you must keep on going and seek truth, get back to the right path and endure some more; however, you have to be always prepared mentally to stand alone and firm, to be your own person, accept your weaknesses and the things in your character in which you must improve.

In order to see and walk life with wisdom, you must be patient and accept your life as it is, transform yourself slowly into a better, stronger person and soon you will turn things around and improve your life as well.

The light in the storm.

The heavier and longer the hardship, or the challenging and enduring the suffering, the more strength and wisdom that can be absorbed and learned from it, in my own experience; however, one must remain faithful and positive, or at least have some awareness to see your situations through.

Why do you think one has to suffer, or go through losses, or fall into depressing times or challenges in life…??  We all go through it, rich and poor, educated and uneducated, man and woman, young and old; and it all comes to us for a reason, it all fits a design, which your mind does not have to understand really, you just have to be humble enough to accept what is and learn from it.

Whether you think you deserve it or not, accept what is happening right now; and accept that you have much to learn still, even though all the knowledge you have and your past experiences.  Fools ask themselves “Why??” in the very rain and thunder of the storm, but the intelligent ones know to resist the storm and observe it in order to remember what we lived and so learn from it.

Life is truly the greatest teacher, not Jesus, not Buddha, not any other man or deity you worship or to whom you pray; but life is divine, which means that life, YOUR life, is highly conscious, it knows you and it forges you to be a better human being.  The thing is, that life cannot force you to learn from the challenges and hardships it gives you; but that is up to you, either to choose depression and ego, or to choose resilience and wisdom.

Not easy for anyone, but 100% worth it; because each one of us has greatness inside, to build a great destiny or fate or future, or however you want to call it.  But the direction you take is measured by your response to the challenges you live, and the decisions you make in your mind are everything.

The Illumination!

What is being a whole human being if not embracing all you are, including all your experiences–good and bad…??  If you hate something in your past, doesn’t it mean you hate some part of you…??  If you hate some part of you then, can you truly know and embrace yourself…??  The memories you have, the cruel past, the joyful past–it is all you are as a human being, is it not…??
36904417_497958547304179_3376714231691870208_n

I have said many times before, as a human being all you are is your mind, and that is a bundle of memories–i.e., you think and live the way you do because of the influence and things taught to you by family and society, you like what you like because you have been programmed subconsciously since childhood, you react emotionally the way you do because you have learned from others.  All this is you!  The past has shaped you into who you are today.  Your character, your beliefs, your traditions, your lifestyle, the way you handle your hurt, the way you handle your joy, etc.—it is all borrowed.  Unless you are truly awakened, truly enlightened, you remain attached to all this–or maybe to some part of it.  Realize this within yourself through self-analysis and wisdom.  Do not agree or disagree with me about this; it is irrelevant if you do, for only truth matters, not opinions.  Opinions are of the ego; truth is of the heart or of that which is eternal in you.

If you are, as a human being, memories and all past experiences, does it truly make sense to hate or fear any memory or experience you have lived…??  The death of my father is why I am who I am today; if he was alive I would still be religious and my mind still would be confused and lost.  If you got divorced–that experience helped giving you lessons.  If you got sick–that leads you to overcome that pain, the aim is to make you wiser and stronger.  If you still pay school and you never finished–that is a lesson as well.  In order to understand your difficult or cruel past, or any past at all, you must love it, you must love the whole of you; opposite to this, if you try to escape it or fear it, talk badly about it or hate the experience, then you will remain broken, in pieces, not whole.

Accept that as a human being you are your past and the memories and experiences which shaped you, so then you can entirely love who you are and who you have become…  When you entirely love who you are and who you have become, then you shall hurt no more and great and divine understanding will illumine your conscience…

DeconstructingTheDream24x36
Illumination is the lighting of your human conscience, no more and no less. It is started or experienced in you when you forgive your past and see or realize that all you have gone through–whether it was forced upon you or not–serves a purpose. Once you truly realize and embrace this you become whole–which means you do not see memories as hurt anymore, you love your memories because you understand that you are them as a human. And so, now you are not confused and damaged by your past, there is no pain in you and no more superficial masks to hold for yourself and for others–because you are free to be yourself 100%. Emotionally free! Psychologically strong! Spiritually illumined!

I’ve lost my best friend…

Yes, it is indeed difficult to lose someone really special, someone you loved dearly; but life gives us meaning by change, by an old death and new birth, and so the cycle under time goes on and on throughout our lives. And exactly this should never be forgotten, that life is change; if you adapt to change, you may find strength to go on and become better in your life…

36446284_489681971465170_5544635550289362944_n

“I’ve lost my best friend…”

Ever lost someone, but someone extremely special to you, someone you carry in your very DNA, someone who made you into who you are today, someone who you feel in your very bones, in your very flesh, and someone who somehow in your each laughter and tear lights your way in this life…??

We would build trenches and castles in the sand,
We would play video games and he’d let me win;
Life was easy, without tears, perfect around him,
He was God to me, no Devils, no demons, no sin…
I wish I knew why, but I grew up and demons came.
O how I wish I would understand why I went insane!
O too many memories for I’ve lost my best friend!
I always loved him but I did not show it till the end!
If I could go back in time I’d tell you what I should,
Yes, I would not cause you any pain and be good.

Once he called me in the room and sat me down,
He smiled warmly, but very proudly I looked away;
He tried to talk sense into me, guide me with love,
But I remained distant, like I knew the better way…
Jumping from school to school, I brought him pain.
O how I wish I would understand why I went insane!
O too many memories for I’ve lost my best friend!
He was my dad, my very all, my partner till the end!
He loved his family and brought us to new shores,
In the new territory he taught me how to open doors.

In his last moments at the hospital I didn’t say much,
He went somewhere and never came back to me.
So cherish your loved ones, love all their characters,
For after death they in your memories you will see…
Yes, I learned from my father all a real man should.
O how great he was even though I was not so good!
O too many memories for I’ve lost my best friend!
I always loved him but I did not show it till the end!
Wherever you are I hope you see the man I am now.
As you guide me forth I promise to make you proud.

dadlost
Losing a loved one is always a tragedy, a moment of sadness no one can avoid; however, this is the beauty of life, all this change and pain is what makes us or destroys us–it is the challenges that which is the very heart of life.  We are meant to live these challenges, not to turn away from them or denied them but to feel them, cherish them, learn from them, and rise from the ashes that live in you.  That’s the secret:  Rising from the ashes, not staying buried in them.

In times of darkness…

C8ztOm6UQAAhd5U
The tests of every day must be allowed to open way for the divine light to enter into our lives, into the way we see ourselves and life itself; in this way we become masters instead of slaves chained to environment and the desires and outbursts of others.  And so we are elevated over the daily challenges we face.  Because most of us find it easy to be strong and positive in times of happiness and comfort, but the character of a person cannot be forged and elevated in these mentioned times of joy; the opposite is true, it is in times of struggle and hardship where the gold is, where the messages and lessons are hidden and waiting to be discovered by us.
Moments of darkness, of pain, of terrible loss, have a very important reason for existence in the midst of our lives, do they not…??

e501a01699f45709ca057c4cb989fc81

I do not believe higher awakening and divinity may happen in any of us if struggle, pain, loss, death, and the rest of these fears are not embraced, befriended, conquered, and surrounded by pure love.  An individual may be caring, utter nice words, mature in age and experiences lived, prayerful, and read many spiritual books, but he/she still might fear loss, death, and the rest, and so become reactive in times of struggle and pain.  He/she then may become of low morals and crooked character, even become mentally, verbally, and/or physically violent with others.  And so we can tell this person does not understand the higher nature of his/her own darkness, can we not…??   No, this person escapes the darkness and run towards the light in his/her ignorance, while he/she hides her real face behind the mask of moderation, intellectual and emotional prowess, and piety that he/she wears in public.

There is no measure which is higher and more meaningful than to be a man or woman who stands alone with power and confidence in moments of difficulty, and who shares his/her wise wealth with others suffering necessity and their own moments of darkness.  It is precisely this then what gives character and power to a person to celebrate the magnificence of life…  Remind yourself then to remain strong and confident in times of pain…

As long as you breathe…

How can anything be over as long as there is life…??  What creates and guides your life is choices, whether you are aware of your choices or not.  Why would you give up or give in if you can make choices, whether small or big choices…??  Choices must be meditated and analyzed in order for you to see your life move in the right direction.
31963839_457968577969843_3443499963827355648_n
Once you see a challenge, a tragedy, a great loss which cripples you and forces you to deviate from your path, even in smaller things happening in your life, you might feel defeated, broken, depressed, and even begin to believe that all you have done until now has been for naught.  But why would you do that to yourself…??  You must look at life as the beautiful field where you come to learn, and it is why you must at some point encounter great tragedies and gargantuan problems which shall shake you violently; for you need pain and suffering to elevate yourself above it, and for that same matter to discover your bliss and create your heaven you have to learn to embrace pain and dwell in hell for a period.  Who are you to be above all pain and suffering…??  You are human, are you not….??

Whatever age, whatever situation, there is purpose, there is much coming for you; however, the secret of life is not to question or seek that purpose, for this shall bring you mental insanity, frustration, self-destruction.  The secret is to remain mentally on a good path but not to attach yourself to it, so when storms come–and they will come–and they deviate you, even pound you and cripple you for a while, you get back up and create yourself another good path.

In a World

“Do not judge me by my success, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again.”  ~ Nelson Mandela.
