Self-deception
Thinking is important, obviously. Thinking, but not overthinking. Overthinking is tied to feeling frustrated, angry, jealous, unworthy, and the rest of the negative burdens. But it is so easy to overthink, and quite often we are not aware of the damage this overthinking is doing to us.
It’s so easy to get lost in thinking, because we feel pressure in life so we may believe thinking and seeking answers in scenarios and images in our minds will somehow fix whatever is wrong. And, of course, this is the damaging self-deception that overthinking brings.
Being alert
So, what really matters is what happens in our heads. That is where everything starts. Everything in life starts with a thought and with all the thoughts of a group. So, this is the inner world. Truth is, the outer world does not matter. Why…?? Because in order to remain alert or vigilant of my own mind, of my overthinking, I need to focus 100% on my inner world.
If I lose myself in the events of the outer world then I will become a slave to them. Becoming a slave to them means that I will easily be influenced by the outer world, which means society will dictate how I should think and feel. I don’t know about you, but I want to dictate how I think and feel. It is my life, after all; like your life is your life, and only your life.
