That mysterious allure…

That unique degree

Don’t run away from it. Run to it. Because it’s a matter of attitude. All of it! Attitude in your writing. Attitude in your speech. Attitude in your behavior. Attitude in your gaze.

It’s about reaching that degree of unique intensity, the one which only belongs to you and feels intimate to you. Don’t fall into fakeness. Nobody can teach you this.

That truly great value

If you try to copy the style of others, that’s when you begin to distance yourself from your identity, from your capacity to become attractive and relevant, intriguing and mysterious to others.

‘To others.’ Yes! Because we all have to bring something unique to society, in order to stand out, in order to accomplish great things, in order to increase our value to ourselves and feel empowered to be always more.

Beyond loss

So, tell me, who is your best friend…??

Don’t cry for your dead. Don’t cry for your loss. Don’t cry for what was. Attachment to feelings of great loss are just insecurities brewing in the mind. These insecurities are baseless and originating from the fear of change–contempt for the new, addiction to the old.

Grief is nature’s answer from love. But holding on to this grief is the selfish answer from attachment. Constantly drowning in your sorrow is the choice that paralyzes you, and whoever drowns himself is doing it because he enjoys being paralyzed.

And who said that death, loss, hurt, is the end?? It is but a distorted idea, a crude concept, a piteous mirage of the unaware mind. It is designed by groups, by families who mourn, by a broken society of noise, by people without introspection.

Loneliness is poor quality of existence. Loneliness is when the mind falls in a state of fascination with the noise of the crowd. Loneliness is the disease born from the lack of friendship with yourself.

So, tell me, who is your best friend…??

About life…

Meaning

Giving meaning to life is the greatest joy, but also the greatest challenge. Most of us spend years without it, trying, existing, suffering. So it is unique, you must find it in yourself and not fall in the influence of groups–like family, like religion, like what’s popular in society.

And how goes one about doing it?? The first thing is to be able to listen clearly to your intuition. The voices in your head sometimes might sound right, filled with knowledge and direction; but they also make you doubtful and anxious (the opposite of intuitive).

Silence

This, of course, makes you highly intellectual. And the more intellectual you are, the less able to get out of your head and listen to your intuition. The more intellectual you are, the more influenced by systems, groups, knowledge floating in society.

Finding meaning in your life then is about silencing your mind from the noise and rants coming from the outside. Silencing your mind renders you capable to easily find your unique passions and heartfelt desires. This leads you, evidently, to understand your place and purpose in this life.

Go for greatness

Style & Uniqueness

The more I grow in personal wisdom and also in my writing craft, the more I think about what style and uniqueness mean in my life. And I like these following quotes, which made me think deeper about it:

-“Elegance is refusal.” ~ Coco Chanel.

-“Style is knowing who you are, what you want to say, and not giving a damn.” ~ Orson Welles.

“One of the really bad things you can do to your writing is to dress up the vocabulary, looking for long words because you’re maybe a little bit ashamed of your short ones.” ~ Stephen King.

Creating your style

So, for style to be wholeness you must create yourself in all aspect. Whatever you do, the way to be different and stand out is the way of uniqueness. So, If you have a unique style and you want to create a new way to go about things, then practice to master it. Do not listen to others.

Most people are attached to the path society has already established for them. But in order for you to achieve greatness, you have to leave the close-minded masses and the way they choose to enslave themselves to the established thought.

Break the rules properly

A billion people may do the same you do, but if you are unique and bring your own style to your work then you’ll be recognized by your originality. See, no one is better or worse. That feeling of being more or being less, that is your own ego.

Achieve self-control over it, then you can create your own image and reach your uniqueness. I always say that rules are meant to be broken, but it’s only acceptable to break them when you master your own style–in your writing, in business, in fashion, in dating, in marriage, in everything.

Creating yours…

Being unique

One of the main things in life is to remain true to yourself, which means to follow your own path and not copy others just to fit into their narrative of what life is supposed to be. Sometimes problems arise because you want a relationship to be like others, or your success like others, or this or that.

But we are all different, and so copying each other lessens your unique ability for success in life. I must use empathy, creativity, my own vision; and so do what is best for me, create my own path. It requires bravery to be unique, to say no to the way others do things, to be your own voice and create your own style in this world.

Going beyond society

One thing I don’t do is copy the style of other authors for writing, for building plots and characters. I know that most authors do this, that they read and copy from the way bestsellers do it. And if that is you, I can respect that. But I don’t. I aim to create a new style. Some people will like it. Some others love it. But that is not my problem, because my sole purpose is to bring you ‘me’ in those pages.

I believe that if you truly look to be different, unique, and share with others your own style, then you must be brave and stop fearing not being accepted by others. If you have read my books then you know what I’m saying. I do not pretend to be better or worse than others out there; I am just different and creating my own style. After all, great minds go beyond the established norms in society.

Something special…

Something personal (very special)

Intelligence is something personal, something you develop, and it has little to do with any education. Education is learning the already established knowledge in society and in your family’s traditions and beliefs. Intelligence comes with personal observation.

Intelligence goes far beyond knowledge. Intelligence requires sensitivity, the capacity to project yourself into the experience of somebody else (great empathy), which, obviously, is something knowledge does not give you.

The many in society (not special)

Knowledge helps you thrive in society, because the systems in it are based on knowledge, on how to do this and that to climb to the top levels (it offers the achievement of pleasures). The systems in society are rigid, so it is just about following and copying, going to school and allowing influences out there to guide you through the systems.

Nothing special about knowledge. But intelligence is calmly, personally observing, instead of just reacting and answering through the knowledge and beliefs you have acquired. It is why most people lack intelligence. And it is why intelligence belongs only to the few and not to the many.

All thoughts…

Self-deception

Thinking is important, obviously. Thinking, but not overthinking. Overthinking is tied to feeling frustrated, angry, jealous, unworthy, and the rest of the negative burdens. But it is so easy to overthink, and quite often we are not aware of the damage this overthinking is doing to us.

It’s so easy to get lost in thinking, because we feel pressure in life so we may believe thinking and seeking answers in scenarios and images in our minds will somehow fix whatever is wrong. And, of course, this is the damaging self-deception that overthinking brings.

Being alert

So, what really matters is what happens in our heads. That is where everything starts. Everything in life starts with a thought and with all the thoughts of a group. So, this is the inner world. Truth is, the outer world does not matter. Why…?? Because in order to remain alert or vigilant of my own mind, of my overthinking, I need to focus 100% on my inner world.

If I lose myself in the events of the outer world then I will become a slave to them. Becoming a slave to them means that I will easily be influenced by the outer world, which means society will dictate how I should think and feel. I don’t know about you, but I want to dictate how I think and feel. It is my life, after all; like your life is your life, and only your life.

Like a brain tumor…

People pretend

Don’t feel bad, out of place, weird, if you don’t really like what others like. The truth is that most people in this world, especially some of us men, pretend to like or love something. They pretend because they seek to belong to a group in society, they are scared to be themselves so they ignore who they really are just to fit in.

They lie to themselves. Pretending is a way to neglect who you really are deep inside, and this manifests as many psychic disturbances even as they don’t know it. One gets angry easily. One gets frustrated easily. One becomes depressed easily. And many clinical anomalies as well appear.

Reach deep within

So, you can see how unhealthy it is. Pretending is the disease that many ignore because it festers in the subconscious like a tumor in the brain–slowly and in secrecy until it becomes a big problem. The brave and real among us must then reach deep within us and be ourselves entirely in order to remain healthy, boost confidence, and be truly happy with who we are.

Mark your path

Dreams

I really think the world lives under the delusion that dreams are only in comparison to the dreams of others. A family of your own. Money. Traveling the world. A popular person in the eyes of others. Etc. But dreams, in truth, are the essence of uniqueness in each one of us.

Dreams are in fact personal, unique, your own path. And that is the problem with many parents, that they do not understand this; because they fear for their children’s future, so they mark an established dream/a path for them that they see fit.

Dare live your dream

But we are all different. We can be family, but what makes us unique is our minds and our passions. So, to be free, follow yours, and only yours; and do not copy the world, nor allow your parents to influence you. Do not say, “I want this just like them”. Leave behind the fear. Dare live your dream and take the necessary steps to it.

Wise quotes…

Some quotes that have helped me:

“The fool doth think he is wise, but the wise man knows himself to be a fool.”
― William Shakespeare, As You Like It

“Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to reform (or pause and reflect).”
― Mark Twain

“Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.”
― Aristotle

“The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.”
― Socrates

“It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.”
― Aristotle, Metaphysics

The path to liberation

The way we live today, or the way our societies are built, may bring pressures, tensions, burdens. And for this, the path to liberation, to enjoyment of myself and my life, is wisdom, knowledge, insights to live better.

Obviously, experience is important; however, experience, living each day is not enough. I must cultivate myself through learning from the wisdom of others. So, it is my heartfelt desire that you take this into consideration and find the knowledge, the wisdom that can help you, in whatever situation you meet in your life.
