Human beings are born to learn to express themselves, to be individuals and learn from their own mistakes; they have been given the great gift and opportunity to know pleasure and to know pain, to know happiness and to know misery, to know heaven and hell. And it is indeed the greatest gift to know them both in order to experience life; this heaven and hell make up physical existence. But still there are parents, lovers, friends, religions, and others, who try to show you the way or “sculpt” you into their own visions, who try to put you in a box while they instruct you in what is right and what is wrong.
They profess their own love and happiness unto you, their own way to do things–which from their points of view is honest and truthful. But still, these are their own experiences pushed upon you; and when they push and you accept their views, as loving and well-intentioned they might be, you become a program, a follower and a slave, unable to experience your own life, just another pitiful cog in the machine of society and not an individual. An individual is born from individuality, and such is the state of your own free self, is it not…??
Your child’s life is not yours, but only your life is yours. You may say to yourself, “I created him, and he exists because of me.” No, in fact you merely allowed the environment and welcomed his divine entrance, you did not actually create life. If you are a woman your womb served as sacred doorway between this realm and the purely conscious one; but, as strongly as you feel the connection, still the life’s essence is not yours. If you are a man your only contribution to life was your seed, which did not cost you anything and so your only real worth is the title “father.” But as the child grows his mind must develop freely, without your confusion and your particular beliefs, without your meddling into affairs which do not belong to you.
Love, happiness, God, truth–these are in each individual and have to be discovered by each individual… Sadhguru, the wise yogi and mystic, when asked about the nurturing and parenting of his daughter said that he never allowed himself or anybody around him to teach and instruct his daughter with bias and opinions, beliefs and ideas; but that he makes sure that his daughter’s mind remains unattached and empty from society–including religious beliefs, all traditions, general views, and any judgement or discrimination made in the world… Thus the human mind remains sacred and empty, able to wake up and fill itself with the wisdom of the sage…
Ever feel lonely and seek distractions out there, solutions to this nagging feeling…?? When the seeking is pointless, which you must see; for the seeking can only exacerbate the illness brooding in you, thus create more desire over and over again as it consumes your very soul–i.e., your sane rationality, your honest hopes, your vital dreams, your own affections…
“The seashell.”
I found a seashell in the fair sands
Gleaming under the warmest light;
In it I found the whisper I thought lost,
In it I discovered what I had tossed.
The seeking had been the dark abyss, It had polluted my soul in darkness; I had lost myself in the empty desire Of a capricious nature–indeed so dire. O how barren what I saw in the world! Loneliness, frustration, anger held me; For I truly observed my own reflection, So I cried all the time without affection. But O how blind and lost in the senses! You were there all along, patiently waiting, Gleaming under the very warmest light, Blessed by Divinity–such glorious sight.
I finally stopped the search and contemplated The many tears in me–the suffering, the misery; Whatever held me hostage was my choosing, I stubborn was in my desire–how confusing! There was no end to the allure of the rabble, Empty words of romance and promises broken; Society had me as I desired what they had, But I saw through the vain deceit–I am glad! And it was the friendship with my very tears The one which liberated my trapped soul; And it was the seashell found under the sun, Yes, listened I the whisper–O misery undone!
What are you seeking…?? Where are you seeking…?? Why are you being superficial and living in the comfort of your own dreams instead of actually changing and becoming aware of everything you do…??
Many people look for love, for God, for spirituality, for freedom, in books and scriptures, in rituals and prayers, in preachers and saints, even in money and higher positions in society; however, all this is irrelevant, they are missing the point and just going around in circles, being superficial and aggrandizing their own egos. God, love, and the rest I just mentioned is not found in a particular activity, or in some spiritual height or achievement, or even in some relationship with another; but it is found in each moment, in each activity, in every behavior you have, in every breath you take.
Is there a reason you are miserable, unhappy, or even a little hurt right now…?? Because if you think that there is in fact a reason, then you should observe the activities of your ego and find out why you choose to fill your mind with fear; and, furthermore, fear only fills your mind and confuses you because you are not aware, and because you constantly seek love and divinity elsewhere. You must begin focusing on everything you do, every activity, insignificant or not; be aware of eating, of walking, of working, of all you do. Keep a meditative mind all the time.
People tends to focus on the outcome of something instead of focusing on each moment, savoring and enjoying each moment, being there whether they want to be or not; in this process is where you find God, love, and the rest. Because all these are one, and so it is a process of existence, a behavior, a higher awareness of the present. The present is not of time, but the future and the past are; therefore, do not let your mind wander off and seek into the future, but stay with what you are doing in the Now.
The human mind tends to wander off into all sorts of distractions, it seeks everything outwardly and it also relives the past and imagines the future. But this is living a dream which has gone and which is not here; none of it is real. The only reality is the awareness of what we do in the present, because in the present you find all that is truly important to give you love and happiness.
What do you think gives you that confidence to stop pleasing others, to gain inner strength, and to begin to see life with fresh eyes…?? What makes life absolutely free and worth living…??
Human society is based upon resistance, it is fear-based–i.e., Christian religions popularize the image of Christ on the cross (it controls the mind with this fear instead of celebrating his life and teachings with a better image), tradition states that rigid education is key to better money and opportunities and that if you are not educated in the system you have poor chances for progress and you are thus neglected by everyone, women are paid and promoted in their jobs less than men, the media urges people to buy everything they sell you no matter what it is and if you do not then you are seen as unpopular and odd, in certain countries women are second-class citizens while men are in absolute control, in certain countries governments do not allow you to live off-the-grid and without using their paid services, etc. etc.
This resistance, this fear, creates the eternal nightmare in man, because the individual cannot liberate himself; for his mind lives in this competition and anxiety, thus he believes pleasure is love and following the masses is being happy. He loses himself in the ignorance of the mob, he never discovers himself because his attention is allured always on the outside. Is this the way you live…?? You live in this resistance, you cannot let go of this competition, don’t you….?? Why??
You cannot be, you cannot experience the truth in yourself to better all of your life, you cannot discover life, if you do not allow yourself to let go; thus, the allure of money drives you, the absolute control of your woman is always nagging your mind, the fear of loss of your man makes you a ridiculous puppet, there is no real substance, innocence, creativity, individuality in you anymore. You have become a robot of society, a pitiful follower; and the worst, you won’t see it and shake yourself into awakening because you want to please others, you are a puppet of society, you read what I write here but your life never changes. And then you praise yourself with pride and call yourself awakened, don’t you…??
Perhaps radical change and true individuality lie in you, but you resist to it because you are full of stupid excuses that you tell yourself everyday…
As we live we fear what may happen, and we fear what was long ago, and we fear what we do not understand; therefore, the excuses are many and the fear we have grows and grows. Maybe new fears appear as we embark on new journeys, in meeting new people, new challenges and situations in our life, frustrations galore due to unresolved issues and dark visions of a future. We feel like everything is against us, and above all we become impatient because we do not see a way out or even a little bit of progress; but this is not us, whatever we are experiencing is of time, it passes, it is a trick from the mind however real to us.
Nothing can really hurt you and kill your hopes, “break” you heart and deny you better opportunities for progress; for your mind is the obstacle, and if you tame your mind and do not just react you shall see heaven.
By saying that you shall see heaven I do not mean that everything will be perfect, obviously; but what I mean is that if you tame your mind you can really get in touch with yourself and find that harmony and silence that you are deep inside. Once you are born, as you go on growing, your conscious mind develops, experiences that shape your persona, anxiety and stress become you, memories begin fear in you; but as you age only your humanity gets taken like this, that source of eternal energy that is you still lies within, immutable, perfect, wise, intuitive, connected to a higher awareness. You can feel it when you become silent and meditative, without distractions and without anxious thoughts, can you not…??
Each one of us has this, we are it, beyond whatever we suffer and live; furthermore, you must seek this within yourself and wake up to life, and see that it has much more to offer than frustrations and problems. When you see darkness remind yourself that light is there as well, it is the same essence or energy; but it is just a matter of how you look at it, either with a busy, overwhelmed and anxious mind, or with a faithful and meditative mind.
There are people who develop a false sense of confidence, because they still live in the grand dream of their own vanity and insecure egos. Yes, I see them walking proudly, talking down to others, flaunting their feathers like peacocks, taking what they want from others, competing and singing loud tunes of tyranny, without a hint of love in their actions but pure obsession brooding in them. But this is not confidence, O I know!, for inside they are terrified of losing, fearful of being less, empty and searching for ways to fill this great void they keep hidden from others. What they carry so proudly is not confidence but fear of rejection and loss; for not being popular is the scorching hell of their superficial and misguided affairs with the ignorant world.
About confidence…
Yes, I can say that confidence is the result of the communion and harmony in you. Real confidence which cannot be stolen, bought, or ever diseased. For this confidence is divine and pure, love-based and not attached to anything or anyone at all. The light I see and feel coming down from heaven into my conscience, yes, such is clarity and truth strengthening my resolve, and such evolves into confidence on which I can always rely and trust because it is me, the real me and not the masks I wear for them.
About confidence…
And who told you about confidence…?? Because they lied to you. And who says you learn confidence from watching or reading others, or from desiring to be like others…?? They have said that to you because they do not know confidence themselves. Confidence must spring from you, it must be clear like the most beautiful and untainted tropical waters, and it must be a realization within you. Truth is not spoken, or heard, or read, or watched; but this is just the experience from others before you. Truth brings confidence if you embrace your strengths and also your weaknesses. Question is: Can you rise like the phoenix…?? Associated with the Sun, a phoenix obtains new life by arising from the ashes of its weaker predecessor. The weaker you, the follower you, the lost you, the chained to the world you. Truth brings confidence and it is inside yourself, for you initiate the eternal flame and rise from the old ashes like the mighty phoenix. So do you know about confidence…??
You try to change her. She tries to change you. Both resist each other, both are stubborn to love or both lack the greater understanding of love. Resistance in the mind, in life in general, means there is fear, there is no acceptance, there is no understanding; furthermore, no relationship can really become strong, as One, as it should under the power of true love, if you cannot allow differences to enrich your very experience. Differences give you tolerance, wisdom, a different perspective in life, and freedom from your own ego.
And if you cannot allow differences to enrich your experience, and thus make you wiser, vaster in knowledge, greater in understanding, more accepting, more loving, is because you let fear and its impositions build your “relationships” and not love. Love is about freedom, which is freedom to be oneself; see, love only emanates love, it does not expect anything in return, because love is a concentrated force which is happy giving more and more. Why try to change others…?? Why not practicing a deeper capacity for love which focuses on just the process of evolving this same love…??
The individual tries to change the world because he does not like it, because he pays more attention to the pain and suffering in the world he sees out there. Everybody thinks like this. Each person tries to change others. But the illusion is in believing there is a world out there which is not you. So there is never a change. But the world is really inside you, so you change yourself. Do not ignorantly chase the reflection you see out there and try to change it, because the reflection changes once you truly change yourself–you are the origin of the reflection.
And this is the biggest relationship trouble, obstacle to happiness; everybody points a finger, every idiot believes there is an inferior person or an inferior world out there that they must change. But, the opposite is true, in changing yourself you invite true love into your heart, and this love then grows in you and brings acceptance, truth, wisdom. And as I personally know, this acceptance is what creates divine and wonderful relationships where you truly see the face of God as you evolve into a better human being.

She did not see it before, but now when she was alone she felt some torpid dullness about her, a confused state of her mind, a wretched condition of her soul. Her soul wanting to become truly free from her captor; for she had changed for him and was not herself anymore, she was destitute of intelligence and reason, distanced from herself and from her normal activities and studies. She was not her beautiful and free self anymore, the demon held her captive and she knew it…

The thick chains which my mind cannot see, As it fills itself with his deceptions and vices; Alas, energy depleted, freedom is not to be. Can I even feel the desperation as it rises…?? First an angel of love then a demon of pain, Allured by the most lovely sound in his voice; For I had fallen ill, felt empty, I was not sane, Trapped beauty and freedom below the noise. He was living in death and I was living in life. O, our vital energies were opposing poles! Alas, taken by desire to be this demon’s wife. But then one must dare see not flesh but souls.
There is always an emptiness brooding inside the human being, perhaps a dullness of our daily activities, maybe a sort of death or decay of our wits and creativity, because life is felt like a roller coaster to us–i.e., nothing is always bliss, moods change, time passes, aging sets in, impatience swallows the mind, etc. And the heart is always seeking more, an awakening, a greater life change, a better opportunity, a renaissance of daily living; but the ignorance of the human mind is always demanding and controlling, it is impatient, it overwhelms your heart, it veils your soul from complete clarity and freedom.
You must see this fact beyond looking. You must not allow negativity, wrong people, rushing into unknown activities, etc., to overtake you; but you have to see your life through the fogs of your own lazy and corrupted demons… Because it is in fact this very seeing that which shall give you freedom beyond your normal looking…
Demons do not hide under your bed, or in the darkness of the night even; but they hide in the darkest corners of your own mind. Be aware of this all the time, and you become resilient and confident, strong and faithful in every situation. Thus you remain in control.
Once, a king and a lazy man named Haria were very good friends. One morning, the king said, “Why don’t you do work to earn some money?” Haria said, “No one gives me job. My enemies told everyone that I never do any work on time.” At this, the king said, “You can go into my treasury and collect as much wealth as you can, till sunset.” Haria rushed home then to tell this to his wife. She then said, “Christ is certainly smiling upon us, husband! Go and get the gold coins and gems now!!” But he replied, “I see you are extremely happy but I cannot go now. Give me lunch first.”…
So, after lunch, he took a nap for an hour. Then in the late afternoon, he picked some bags and went to the palace. On the way, he felt hot so he sat under a tree to rest. Then, two hours later, he got up to go but saw a man showing some magic tricks. He stopped to watch for an hour again. When he reached the palace it was already time for sunset. The palace gates had been shut. So Haria had lost a golden chance because he had not learned the value of time.
Life is eternal because it exist only in the Now. Whatever is past is gone, is never to come back, and a mere memory in your mind. The future will never be, because it is just another construct of your mind. Life then is enjoyed now, because the only reality is the Now, and the only progress is in the Now. A plan to do something later, an idea to see a possibility in your mind, an intention to act when things get better in a future–these are all schemes and games of your overthinking ego, of your conditioned mind, of your lazy psychology, and illusions which do not carry reality.
Acting in the Now, enjoying yourself in the Now, expanding your love and commitment in the Now–this is all creativity and reality, this is the real you behind all the fears and insecurities… The freedom to be yourself and to move your life forward step by step is Now. Hesitation in living is not based on love, is it…??…
Step by step, enjoying and doing things now without postponing you then create your better life; always moving forward, slowly but surely, with presence and focused on the moment you are living.
What is real…?? What is not real…?? Can you tell me…?? Can you tell yourself and be certain…??
For the human brain has been molded as clay, perfect clay, to create worlds, experiences, sensory perceptions, the greater and very human feelings of love and fear; furthermore, all this so each one of us can exist in this physical realm, interact with other brains and other forms, find wealth in knowledge and choose the life we desire to lead. We see and experience the world as our brains tell us. Our consciousness, our energy of eternal existence, runs through our bodies, fills and gives life to each one of our cells, it expresses our intentions and fuels our brain cells to give us divine access to the world we see, so we create our world and manifest our physicality for better or worse.
Alas, how weak and ignorant is to live your life in frustration and stress, in sadness and fear…?!All is energy and nothing you see in the world works against you, because we are all energy; we are all the same team, there is no opposite in life, there is nothing to fear, but the ego/the same conditioned brain makes you believe there is an enemy you should fear. But why should you keep any fears then if there is only realization that all is the same energy…??No. What must be changed in the brain is its own conditioning, because once you change it your mind rises, you do not “fall in love” anymore but you RISE in love, your consciousness breaks the chains of polluted conditioning and it allows your entire body to feel freer.
Remember that consciousness is life energy inside each cell of your body, so when your consciousness is allowed by the shift of your brain to break the chains then your aura expands, because your level of freedom expands and such brings a newer understanding to light, a higher revelation of what is real, and so you begin to remember. You begin to remember what you knew as a child before your parents and our society started conditioning your brain and cutting your freedom, debilitating your aura and lowering your energy, designing the illusions of matter and of lower perceptions.
