God and The Devil exist, blissful Heaven and scorching Hell are at your doors, just waiting to possess you, ever stalking you without sleep; furthermore, they are designed by the powers of your mind, because your mind, whether you like it or not, consciously or subconsciously, is always absorbing data from your environment. Your conscious state, your dream state, your memory state, your instinctual state, your intuitive state; these are all influenced by your environment, not only by what you choose to read or watch.
You are walking through a field with death bodies, horrors of war, blood all over, children hurt and crying under a cloudy sky; however, you cannot choose to block this out, you will experience sadness, anger, desperation in your mind, it will possess you, no matter your Enlightenment. You are human, and this is very human; this terrible experience surfaces the Devil in you, your darkness, your misery as a human… You are walking in a beautiful and vast ground, smelling the blooming flowers and fragrant grasses under the bluest and most magical sky; so, your mind will absorb this, you will leave your stress for a moment. This is human and godly, and it reaches out for your divinity within, God and its bliss.
The point is that people tend to battle how they feel and what appears in their minds all the time, they deny either God or The Devil, thoughts of sadness or joy, bad or good thoughts. Many times you cannot choose your environment, and your mind is already by nature made to absorb all your surroundings; but do not fight what enters your mind, this is pointless, it is trying to become, it is poison to yourself. Instead allow your thoughts and feelings to flow without your resistance, choose what to follow, what to project and assimilate; but know and understand that your mind’s content is most of the time beyond your choosing, for you do not know what is going to happen around you all the time…
So, be self-aware of the thoughts you follow, because this is what you will become, and you want to be alert, aware, sane; but allow your mind to be natural and absorb your environment as it is, do not punish yourself over what you see and hear…
A newborn is the labor of consciousness into matter, and for nine months the mother allows this merging of this pain and joy state; as physical life is dual, into being there has to exist pain and joy for otherwise there can exist no physical creation. The human being is born and the experience overwhelms his whole, and because they are both One the mother feels this throughout her emotional body, she neither can avoid it nor escape it, they are united, same flesh, same blood, same consciousness… When in the womb the bond is strongest, but after the child is born the bond continues to pull in the awareness of the mother her whole life…

Through Alchemy the ancients transmuted lesser energy of thought into higher energy of thought, a hell into a heaven, misery into joy, weakness into strength, condemnation into salvation; and through self-discipline and creative meditation into oneself one reaches this superior height, and so you have to do the same in your life. You have no truly blissful life if your mind does not carry self-discipline and creativity, because you have struggle and issues coming up, pain and misery coming up, disappointments and confusion coming up, and you cannot avoid this because you cannot avoid yourself; being human is going through all this, flawed and ignorant, it is falling, hurting yourself, being rejected, ignored, mocked, deceived, “heartbroken”–thus self-discipline and creativity are the ways to endure all this and learn its lesson with dignity and with a sincere smile upon your face.

The human mind has been born from the highest state of consciousness, the cosmic origins of life itself; but due to the cultivation of knowledge, traditions, and the myriad of fears society has designed throughout thousands of years, this same mind has been polluted, degraded, and lowered–its very state in consciousness, unbeknownst to most of us, has become the state of the lowest thought-forms.
Meditation is the access and circulation of purer energy so with daily practice this same debased mind can again come back to the state of higher consciousness, such estate which we call Enlightenment and even beyond, ‘Samadhi’–the wondrous state of absolutely no-mind, where you dwell in the bliss of nothingness for longer periods of time/ascension.
I had read the sacred Bhagavad Gita–Hindu scriptures in verse part of the Mahabharata epic–a long time ago, which started me into serious meditation, and I had not come back to it until recently. Here are some beautiful and, to me, inspiring words I chose for you to read…
Lord Krishna, to his disciple Arjuna, said: “Let the yogi seated in solitude and alone, having mind and senses under control, and free from desires and attachments for possessions, try constantly to contemplate on the Supreme Self: The yogi should sit upon a firm seat that is neither too high nor too low, covered with sacred Kusha grass, deerskin, and a cloth, one over the other, in a clean spot.
Sitting and concentrating the mind upon a single object, controlling the thoughts and the activities of the senses, let the yogi practice meditation for self-purification. Hold the waist, spine, chest, neck, and head erect, motionless and steady, fix the eyes and the mind steadily between the eyebrows, and do not look around. With serene and fearless mind; practicing celibacy; having the mind under control; let the yogi sit and watch emptiness, focus on the Self.
Thus, by always keeping the mind fixed on the Self, the yogi whose mind is subdued attains peace of the Supreme nirvana by uniting with Me, with Divinity… This yoga is not possible, O Arjuna, for the one who eats too much, or who does not eat at all; or who sleeps too much, or who keeps awake. But, for the one who is moderate in eating, recreation, working, sleeping, and waking, this yoga destroys sorrow.”
How can anything be over as long as there is life…?? What creates and guides your life is choices, whether you are aware of your choices or not. Why would you give up or give in if you can make choices, whether small or big choices…?? Choices must be meditated and analyzed in order for you to see your life move in the right direction.
Once you see a challenge, a tragedy, a great loss which cripples you and forces you to deviate from your path, even in smaller things happening in your life, you might feel defeated, broken, depressed, and even begin to believe that all you have done until now has been for naught. But why would you do that to yourself…?? You must look at life as the beautiful field where you come to learn, and it is why you must at some point encounter great tragedies and gargantuan problems which shall shake you violently; for you need pain and suffering to elevate yourself above it, and for that same matter to discover your bliss and create your heaven you have to learn to embrace pain and dwell in hell for a period. Who are you to be above all pain and suffering…?? You are human, are you not….??
Whatever age, whatever situation, there is purpose, there is much coming for you; however, the secret of life is not to question or seek that purpose, for this shall bring you mental insanity, frustration, self-destruction. The secret is to remain mentally on a good path but not to attach yourself to it, so when storms come–and they will come–and they deviate you, even pound you and cripple you for a while, you get back up and create yourself another good path.

You must be able to see beyond agreement or disagreement in what I write. You must be able to see art and truth beyond drawings, words, or beautifully embellished speeches. When you see a flower, you tell yourself that it is beautiful or not; thus your thought pops up and beautifies or dirties that flower. You are no longer seeing the flower but you are seeing the image thought has built in your mind; and when this happens there can be no insight.
Drop the mind, so insight appears in conscious view….
And what do you think insight is…?? Insight is emptiness. Insight is direct knowing. Insight is not concentration. Insight is absolute intuition power. Insight is the emptiness between two thoughts; and when thoughts never stop coming up, as usually happens with the mind, insight is lost and buried under thoughts. Thoughts are objects I can transfer into your mind through my words, but insight is divine and non-transferable. An individual experience… Can you see this without agreeing or disagreeing with me, or without having thought study what you read here…??–if you can, then you see it! Therefore, it is a divine insight rising from the depths of you.
Insight is not any effort, because the conscious mind is effort and insight comes from deeper. When you read and make an effort to understand, when you see a work of art and study carefully its meaning hidden to you, when you are in a relationship which brings some level of inquiry and confusion into your mind, there is no insight; however good or bad to you, there is no insight there. And whatever in not insight is a fabrication of society, of our traditions, of our egos, of our beliefs; thus, useful to understand, but tied to a mechanical process like math or any other subject of knowledge, step by step you study and understand, and so step by step you see the light…
But insight is like a flame, deep buried, innocent, creative, beautiful, powerful like a thousand Suns. It is buried deep under all that knowledge you have acquired through years and years; and it is buried and surrounded by you darkness, such darkness you fear to look into and where love and happiness dwells… So divine and eternal love and true happiness are insights, not thoughts or feelings; they are your divinity living in buried emptiness, not your humanity wallowing in mental objects/thoughts…

Are you emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually expressive, free, balanced, healthy…?? Is any type of fear blocking you, depressing you, affecting you in any way…??
The subconscious is where our experiences, beliefs and memories are stored. Self-knowledge, the understanding of our thoughts and behaviors and their influence on our lives, will make the unconscious conscious; however, quite often people repress things, avoid expression, ignore how they feel and think, and they remain trapped in themselves with bouts of sadness, embarrassment, moodiness, anger, and all types of anxiety… Ever happened to you that your subconscious knows something but your conscious does not fully, or that you feel you cannot quite express yourself or be free from a feeling you have deep inside…??
Liberation, inner revolution, deeper knowledge through drawing or mapping your inner images, visions, or feelings; and this is tapping into your own subconscious to access that repressed sense you have, and this not only frees you to feel better and direct your life with greater vision and confidence but it enables you to communicate more openly with others while you make your unconscious conscious through your art/through your divine expression… Map your business strategies. Write down how you feel about a certain situation. Describe your mental images on paper. Work on freeing past memories. Whatever you do, make your unconscious conscious always.You can see better if the pond is cleaner.
For example, I used to wake up in the middle of the night and write my dreams; and so I found many answers I was looking for in that moment of my life–by making the unconscious forces of consciousness work to my advantage I liberated myself and opened my own conscious mind to greater understanding. As in dreams, one may experience certain unbalance, unhealthiness, trapped emotions during day or night, and this may disturb us; and so, in those cases making use of our inner abilities for artistic expression is what will make the difference between slavery or freedom.

As I woke up this morning… thousands of warm slivers of sunshine filled my room, Bobby, my little dog barked in the background, I got up and felt taken by the early morning’s energy. Then, a particular thought came to mind: ‘Freedom.’ Freedom…??… I followed my morning routine, toothbrush and stretch, and I kept on hearing the little shrieking with which I had become so enamored by now. Bobby wanted to be let out, enjoy the day and expand his own curiosity, thus immerse himself in the wonderful micro-world of smells. I put his leash on and we started our routine walk, except this time we explored another part of the area. While strolling and courting the sunshine spectrum we also felt the soothing morning breeze upon us, charmingly refreshing, almost magical, and to really be there was a wonderful experience on its own. He was sniffing away as if possessed! “Who knows what sorts of little worlds he finds among the blades of green grass,” I thought while smiling.

As I woke up this morning… Then, the particular thought came to mind again, ‘Freedom.’ But this time I recognized it. Bobby wants freedom! You want freedom! I want freedom! We all want freedom! But not superficial, not the facade of freedom; true freedom, a deeper freedom which has really to do with divinity and not with the flesh. Although the ignorant mind thinks that it has to do with the flesh; but it does not, does it…?? Freedom from stress, freedom from concepts, freedom from this flesh, freedom from our everyday lives– This is true freedom! We all feel this nagging sensation deep inside of us each moment, then thought comes along and gives it a name–which could be ‘Violence,’ ‘Extra eating,’ ‘Sex,’ ‘Killing,’ ‘Bullying,’ ‘Warring,’ ‘Traveling,’ ‘Seek relationships,’ ad infinitum. The ego is thought, and thought invades the human experience each second of each day, it is relentless, we need it and yet it brings poisoned ways to translate freedom into what we want. It works subconsciously in the unawakened individual, it starts as a desire to do something, anything, than thought gives it a flavor, a name, an activity…
But it is all about freedom, all we do, all human experience we create in existence; because we all want to come back to Source really, come back to that state of godliness, that eternal essence, or however you call it. But the ego does not allow us to see that all we want is freedom; that is why to be awakened is to know freedom, to be whole and embrace it… Although, I have to say, we can become Enlightened, we can love purely, we can live truly free in our lands, self-sufficient; but we can never be 100% free unless no thought exists, no feeling drives us, and no flesh enslaves us. And what is this absolutely free state…??: Death. Or what we call death, anyway… Now, isn’t it interesting that people live unconsciously, seeking for freedom in all they do, but fearing what they call Death–i.e., fearing the same thing they seek, fearing freedom from all bondage…??… It is the unknown, isn’t it…??: Death… But it is absolute freedom from this mundane jail of pleasure and pain called human experience, and your conscience deeply, beyond your ego, knows this.
Perhaps if we all understand that all we want is freedom, we won’t allow our own egos to drive us into self-destruction, and we won’t destroy the human experience of others by some selfish expression of our own egos.
Once we were One essence without form, personality or gender, then that same essence started the evolution which created gender types and all conscious and subconscious traits; thus trees, rocks, animals, humans were born. The One expanded the physical experience into two gender types, two very different personas yet to be a whole again. And how can two become one again…??
The two types are not just physical forms but remain in the individual; the very fact that man decides to embrace more his masculine type is to be unbalanced; and the fact that a woman decides to embrace more her feminine type is to be unbalanced as well. Each one of us is masculine and feminine, whether one is conscious of this or not; furthermore, this is why there are heterosexuals, homosexuals, lesbians, bisexuals, etc, in the wealthy range of human experience today. These powerful forces pull on our humanity to be free, and sometimes one force is accepted as more conscious than the other.
But the two forces remain trapped in the individual, and when we feel stressed because of overthinking, emotionally depleted, filled with anger and frustrations, physically and mentally unhealthy, and the rest of the disruptions in ourselves, is because we do not embrace and bring to light our two essences, thus our chakras are unbalanced and we become poison to ourselves and to others… There must be a balance to be whole then; one cannot be whole without this inner realization and acceptance of yin and yang, masculine and feminine…
