I’ve lost my best friend…

Yes, it is indeed difficult to lose someone really special, someone you loved dearly; but life gives us meaning by change, by an old death and new birth, and so the cycle under time goes on and on throughout our lives. And exactly this should never be forgotten, that life is change; if you adapt to change, you may find strength to go on and become better in your life…

“I’ve lost my best friend…”

Ever lost someone, but someone extremely special to you, someone you carry in your very DNA, someone who made you into who you are today, someone who you feel in your very bones, in your very flesh, and someone who somehow in your each laughter and tear lights your way in this life…??

We would build trenches and castles in the sand,
We would play video games and he’d let me win;
Life was easy, without tears, perfect around him,
He was God to me, no Devils, no demons, no sin…
I wish I knew why, but I grew up and demons came.
O how I wish I would understand why I went insane!
O too many memories for I’ve lost my best friend!
I always loved him but I did not show it till the end!
If I could go back in time I’d tell you what I should,
Yes, I would not cause you any pain and be good.

Once he called me in the room and sat me down,
He smiled warmly, but very proudly I looked away;
He tried to talk sense into me, guide me with love,
But I remained distant, like I knew the better way…
Jumping from school to school, I brought him pain.
O how I wish I would understand why I went insane!
O too many memories for I’ve lost my best friend!
He was my dad, my very all, my partner till the end!
He loved his family and brought us to new shores,
In the new territory he taught me how to open doors.

In his last moments at the hospital I didn’t say much,
He went somewhere and never came back to me.
So cherish your loved ones, love all their characters,
For after death they in your memories you will see…
Yes, I learned from my father all a real man should.
O how great he was even though I was not so good!
O too many memories for I’ve lost my best friend!
I always loved him but I did not show it till the end!
Wherever you are I hope you see the man I am now.
As you guide me forth I promise to make you proud.

Losing a loved one is always a tragedy, a moment of sadness no one can avoid; however, this is the beauty of life, all this change and pain is what makes us or destroys us–it is the challenges that which is the very heart of life.  We are meant to live these challenges, not to turn away from them or denied them but to feel them, cherish them, learn from them, and rise from the ashes that live in you.  That’s the secret:  Rising from the ashes, not staying buried in them.

What is being filled right now…

What are you allowing yourself to be each moment you live, right now, for the next situation which arises, for this and the next thought…?? You choose how you project yourself and how you behave in each moment, do you not…?? What percentage of you is love, understanding, and moral character, would you say…??–And do you act or behave accordingly in all situations (not in the situations which you like, but in all of them)…??

Your moods, your mental stress and frustration, your indecision, your poor choices–they all are about you, about the essence you allow to fill your mind.  Of course, life challenges you, you feel pressures, you feel loneliness, neglect, the past coming back to you; however, all that you are as a human being is your own mind, so you allow yourself to be love and live or to be fear and die in your mind.  For example, I may regret my marriage, or my hurtful words to someone, or my overall poor education, or my current health status, but what defines me is really my mind right now preparing for my next step, my next choice.  That is, what defines me is my present mind content, my present feel, my present behavior; because all this is the content that will project me and take me onto a better behavior in the next step I take or situation in which I will be.

 

The proportion of your being, of your humanity, of your character, is measured by what fills your mind right now, either fear or love; and so, that is why self-awareness is so important, because you must know the very content of your own mind in order to be truly free.  If you neglect to fill your own mind with love and understanding each moment and so choose to allow your outer circumstances and situations to dictate your mind’s content instead, then you will make terrible mistakes and fail over and over again–and, worse, you will be confused as to why your life is not progressing and you are suffering.

You are what your mind is at this moment, so remember that all the time:  You may lie with your words to someone, you may even tell yourself that you are fine, perhaps you smile all day and show yourself nice to the public, you may go to group meditation and follow all the nonsense they teach you there; however, this is superficial, a pitiful front, a mere facade, the beauty of a red apple which perhaps is rotten and filled with worms inside…  Don’t wait for a better situation in your life to fill your mind’s content with love and understanding; life is right now, your mind must be right now…

Every situation, every second you live is measured and dependent on what your mind contains right now, thus your life is right now.  Forget and forgive what happened a moment ago, if you do not it can only infiltrate your mind and corrupt the next moment you live.  Learn to fill your mind with a rich content of greater love for what you do and a deeper understanding of your happiness right now.  Not a moment later, not when things get better, RIGHT NOW.

I discovered that I am a god…

The sacred road to self-discovery is the best and the most intelligent one can take in life, because life is all about inner growth. Don't be a naive fool and think outer achievements will make you a better human being, but be self-aware, learn from your mistakes, pay attention to all you do to rise as a new being of illumination, as a very god of wisdom and great understanding.

Thanks to difficult experiences we can all learn from mistakes and from the very hell of our situations, our choices are meant to be superior each time; thus, you must pay attention to all you hate, all you dislike, all you suffer, find the illumination to your very conscience, even a tiny flicker will do–something which can help you expand your mind.  Step by step you become awakened in your situations, and patiently you may really discover that you are as well a god…

“I discovered that I am a god…“

Such miserable night my heart felt broken,
And after that great pain you left me in tears;
Alive in me are the last words and bitter kiss,
Cursed, alone, depressed, stalked by my fears.
O there was time in silence which grew in me!
Many days of blindness existing without glee!
And in those moments of misery I saw a light,
O ’tis was finding lovely heaven in my sight,
You see, I saw the place where angels prod…
Far my tears, I discovered that I am a god…

I felt empty around lovely flowers without you,
I lived in hell even through happy memories;
My desire consumed my freedom back then,
Loneliness was death in my confused reveries.
O there was time in silence which grew in me!
Many days of blindness existing without glee!
But in meditation I learned the magic of true love!
O, Love, I was transfigured into a divine dove!
Yes, I found perfection even though I was flawed…
Saw the truth in me, I discovered that I am a god…

Nagging images in my mind kept me as your slave,
I thought it was love the attachment to my passions;
So cruel those minutes without my pride beautified,
Then forgive me, Love, mine were ignorant actions.
O there was time in silence which matured in me!
I am not that silly boy anymore who took our glee!
For that pain I caused was my blessing in disguise,
And, O Sweet, I learned about my own ego and lies.
I freed myself from the constant demon’s prod…
I know love now, I discovered that I am a god…

Do you really know justice…??

What is justice…??  Is it the pompous and rash healing of resentment and anger…??–“an-eye-for-an-eye” type idiocy…??  Can justice become an art if we use greater empathy and less anger, if we follow truth and not society’s conditioning of what the proceedings of justice should be…??  Are you truly just in your everyday situations and relationships…??  Is justice born out of your ego or out of absolute truth (beyond any ego, revenge, or anger you may harbor within)…?? 
Society has taken sacredness and serious matters into mockery and corruption, like God, truth, love, freedom, peace, and justice; and so, this corruption has been conditioned into the weak minds of people like yourself, and now their meanings, their depth is lost and vanished for you, so you follow the news, the media, your family, your own ignorant and crooked beliefs on all of these.  Individual thinking is no more, and yet you desire to be awakened, illumined without emptying your mind from all this nonsense; and so, you expect that by reading and hearing enlightening words you will become awakened and just in these matters.  Is this your foolishness…??  Are you lying to yourself about this even now…??

“She hurt my feelings, so I must hurt hers!”  “He cheated on me, so I am free to cheat as well and hate him forever!”  “Immigrants are ‘stealing’ our jobs, so throw them out with ‘humane’ violence and break their families!”  “My heart must be hardened when treating with any sort of crime.”  “Animals are ours to eat and do whatever we want with them, they are not human beings like us so they do not deserve the same justice.”  “My family does not have the same views I have, so I am building my own life away from all of them!”  And more nonsense fill the minds of the stubborn, old fools who follow their egos and the garbage society has introduced in them since childhood.

And this is because societies, your family, you, have built and kept all justice distanced from truth and deeper understanding, thus you use your intellect/your ego to create meaning; consequently, you lose all empathy and understanding in love, in justice, in truth, thus you are confused and lost without the enlightenment of your very conscience.  Is this the way you choose to live then…??  Nothing real in you, but everything borrowed and dead…  Whoever amongst you understands this, do not just agree with me but CHANGE!  Become better!

To begin is now!

Truth cannot be known and experienced by the individual if ears and attention fall upon society and its governments, religion and its priests and false teachers.  There is no self-inquiry, people do not challenge the status quo and what schools and society preach and shove in front of them; and this seemingly harmless situation is exactly what clouds the minds of people--why people does not know true love, why people cannot find happiness in their own lives, why wars and all hatred exist, and why confusion and ignorance rule the mind of the weak majority.

Lies and egoistical views are covered and taken as truth: People eat whatever and as much as they want, meanwhile illnesses fill hospitals and thieves in white coats fill their pockets over and over again telling lies and holding the truth from the same sick people; people rush into relationships without knowing what true love is, while following the example of the ignorant crowd out there; religious people preach love and God, but when they are at home they curse at each other and also support wars and prejudice; and so on and so forth.  This is not government officials only.  This is not religious leaders only.  This is not other countries only.  This is not them only.  This is you!  You are society, you are humanity, you are the world.  You blame everybody but yourself, don’t you…??  You start by you, because you must change.

Unless you never become violent, mentally or physically; unless you never argue and curse others; unless you mediate each day and control your ego; unless you eat right and do some exercise; unless you absolutely know and live with your mind full of true love all the time; unless you are the wisest sage.  Yes, you know you must change and stop your own ego from growing; and so, you have to find the truth within yourself, such is the truth behind everything you do–behind your uncontrolled and erratic eating, behind all your ways of loving, behind your lust, behind your greed, behind the prejudice and jealousy you feel, and the rest.
The majority does not know truth in the world, their blinding idiocy has no bounds, no shame, no rationality; but in order to love and be happy you must know and live the truth within you, you must discover this for yourself, lest you remain in this blinding idiocy of the masses for your entire life.

Rise from stupidity!

The words, the beliefs, the traditions, the rituals--this is keeping you down, dumbing you down from self-knowledge, from the truth; find out who you are without all these enslaving arms.
So I just had two of these young missionaries knock at my door, and I truly felt for their confused minds which are overwhelmed by garbage others have told them, all this ignorance–like parrots they repeat scriptures and what they have been told since birth by the bishop and their own parents.  Yes, they were like parrots standing on my door’s threshold, their mouths enslaved by the same words and phrases over and over again, and I could sense that they weren’t really thinking for themselves but they were reacting to a program forced in them and that now they were seeing as true.
So, they asked the usual: Why wouldn’t I go to church with them or why wouldn’t I come back…??  I looked at them.  At that moment I really felt sad for their empty minds and I wished I had had the power to make them see through the veil like I can; but, however, I know that awakening and seeing through the veil is something which cannot be taught by mere words, and that illumination comes to your very conscience when you are ready–and, in the case of highly religious people, that awakening is extremely difficult to happen.  Possible, as it happened to me, but extremely difficult; for most people live their entire lives without questioning themselves and the status quo of all society.  God, true love, absolute peace, freedom–these are not even experienced by them, their minds following blindly their own imaginations and stubborn views.  Are you one of these lost souls…??
What would it take for you to awaken and become illumined, not by my rebellious words here, not by any ancient scriptures or modern articles or man’s knowledge of any kind, but by your constant self-inquiry and serious meditation in all of life’s aspects…??

You don’t need a middleman.  You don’t need to kneel in prayer.  You don’t need to think about Jesus and Buddha and put them on a golden pedestal, and so become pitiful followers.  You don’t need to be guided by family traditions, blind faith, and by any man, saint or not, who may appear to have the truth or some revelation.  Aren’t you the Creation and the Creator…??–Or does your ignorant mind make distinction of the two…??  And if there is no difference, then you mustn’t look out there for a Creator.  Isn’t God the very rich energy inside each atom making you, the world and all worlds…?? 
All you must do is see clearly, empty your own mind from your beliefs, traditions, and all words; for your own mind/your own ego is the one you call Satan or The Devil, or whatever is keeping you from actually experiencing all love and truth.  Your confusion, your emptiness, your loneliness, your need to follow others and repeat their words like a parrot–this is your ego, and it will never allow you to be illumined or enlightened in this lower state of existence…

Under the pouring rain.

How is it really helping you being upset at someone…??  Is it because you think that somehow you are punishing them with you childish attitude…??  Are you really so full of fear and hatred to keep that grudge and resentment alive, and so allow your ignorant ego to guide your moods and behaviors…??

Rain must pour and shower, be really heavy and cold, in order for an awakening, an illumination, a deeper understanding to reach your very conscience; however, it is your choice to remain stubborn in your ignorance and reactive ego and miss the rainbow the rain brings, or it is your choice as well to understand the role the rain has in your life and see that colorful rainbow which changes you for the better.  And for this better change and illumination to reach your conscience, you must allow it to happen; yes, allow it, because the automatic mode or program of the mind is to resist and not let go, so you have to be self-aware and change the program thus allowing change in you to happen–thus allowing illumination to happen.
If you do not do this then you will infect yourself with the darkness of fear and resentment, which only affects you and not others; and without illumination in the relationship things will slowly crumble to dust, you might lose something important to you because of ill will to change.  You see, it is not about them (even though society teaches so); it is about you, it is all about your own mental peace and harmony.  Why…??  Because in all aspects of life (romance, friendship, education, finding a job, etc.), to thrive and become successful in all, you need love, comprehension, discipline, a good and happy attitude; but you can only invite all these into your mind if there is already peace and harmony there.
When there is any resentment and jealousy, upset or anger, in your mind, then fear is there.  This is why you must welcome the rain as a blessing, let it shower you while you remain alert in this downpour, keep your mind steadfast to invite love and higher understanding to illumine you.  While it rains, think about yourself and your own inner peace, immerse yourself in the heart of the relationship or situation instead of letting the thunder and lightning to fill you with pain and anger–and maybe become someone you do not want to be!

Challenges and moments of confusion, arguments and disagreements in absolutely any relationship must become sources of illumination to you, seek the further understanding and the wiser acceptance; otherwise your mind will agitate and you will react out of fear and anger, perhaps even ruining all your possibilities for further growth.

About your excuses…

You have to admit, your excuses are making you weak and blocking you from reaching all that you desire with a noble and loving heart.  Excuses might come with your own so-called “rationalization” or “truth,” but you are lying to yourself and allowing your comfortable ego to make you feel that false sense of security and pride in the very face of your own unchallenged weaknesses; however, this is hurting you slowly, hurting your chances in all aspects of your life.  You hide yourself behind your past experiences lived, your family traits in your genetics, your character and way of doing things; but you are afraid of change, either consciously or subconsciously, because you want to be successful, loved by others, happy, proud of your future noble and serious accomplishments, which represent change… and yet you are stubborn or lazy in your own lies… and yet you are afraid of change…

You, as a human being, are formed by trillions upon trillions of tiny organisms or cells, and so made able to interact and carry on in this world by its magnificent genetic codes or informational energy.  Isn’t this very mystery inside the cell wonderful….?!–how each cell glues together to form your brain and body.  Every cell nucleus and its surrounding structure contains information and energy, that information specifically is called by science DNA. 
DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) is this self-replicating material present in nearly all living organisms, as the main constituent of chromosomes; furthermore, it is the carrier of genetic information–which means it is what gives you your unique appearance, traits, and all distinctive qualities which form your persona as human and as the person you are right now.  I have mentioned that our cells carry information and energy.  The energy is linked to your thoughts, and the energy transports the information.  Epigenetics is the science that says that you can heal and transform that information by your thoughts, beliefs, and overall thinking patterns.
There is no rationality in thinking you are fated to remain fat because your family is fat.  There is no excuse in saying you cannot achieve your dreams because your character in your current living is extremely flawed.  It is stupid for you to think that you cannot change and become better in any aspect.  Your own ego, that loud mouth sounding in your head, is the only one stopping you from becoming better, from healing, from awakening, from achieving your dreams.  So, stop creating excuses where there are none, stop being lazy and remaining comfortable in your own mental mess; you have the same chance to become better that anybody has.
Your situations, your environments, might be different; but your capacities, your genetic material is transformed and formed by your mind, as is everybody else’s…

Developing great minds…

Human beings are born to learn to express themselves, to be individuals and learn from their own mistakes; they have been given the great gift and opportunity to know pleasure and to know pain, to know happiness and to know misery, to know heaven and hell.  And it is indeed the greatest gift to know them both in order to experience life; this heaven and hell make up physical existence.  But still there are parents, lovers, friends, religions, and others, who try to show you the way or “sculpt” you into their own visions, who try to put you in a box while they instruct you in what is right and what is wrong.
They profess their own love and happiness unto you, their own way to do things–which from their points of view is honest and truthful.  But still, these are their own experiences pushed upon you; and when they push and you accept their views, as loving and well-intentioned they might be, you become a program, a follower and a slave, unable to experience your own life, just another pitiful cog in the machine of society and not an individual.  An individual is born from individuality, and such is the state of your own free self, is it not…??

Your child’s life is not yours, but only your life is yours.  You may say to yourself, “I created him, and he exists because of me.”  No, in fact you merely allowed the environment and welcomed his divine entrance, you did not actually create life.  If you are a woman your womb served as sacred doorway between this realm and the purely conscious one; but, as strongly as you feel the connection, still the life’s essence is not yours.  If you are a man your only contribution to life was your seed, which did not cost you anything and so your only real worth is the title “father.”  But as the child grows his mind must develop freely, without your confusion and your particular beliefs, without your meddling into affairs which do not belong to you.

Love, happiness, God, truth–these are in each individual and have to be discovered by each individual…  Sadhguru, the wise yogi and mystic, when asked about the nurturing and parenting of his daughter said that he never allowed himself or anybody around him to teach and instruct his daughter with bias and opinions, beliefs and ideas; but that he makes sure that his daughter’s mind remains unattached and empty from society–including religious beliefs, all traditions, general views, and any judgement or discrimination made in the world…  Thus the human mind remains sacred and empty, able to wake up and fill itself with the wisdom of the sage…

Thus Awaken…

Do you realize why pain, confusion, temptation, anxiety, and all suffering exist in your life…??  Can you understand that what truly gives rich value to life is that same exact pain and suffering which you feel…??

As a human being one may only experience happiness, joy, love, and all harmony if one has struggled with their opposites first, learned from their opposites with an open mind.  Awakening only comes after you have seen this and experienced it yourself, because physical existence carries both opposites and these both make physical life.  A mother’s deep love and unique bond to his son or daughter wouldn’t be as strong as it is if in childbirth the pain was not extremely unpleasant and even life-threatening; therefore, a part of her has been ripped out, she feels it, thus she remains deeply connected to her kid her whole life, even in great distance…  And life wouldn’t be appreciated without loss or death.  As you suffer the great loss of a loved one, there is a lesson being imparted to you in the quiet corners of your mind; therefore, after you grieve or mourn you must surrender to this quiet corner in your mind where the voice of suffering may turn into the voice of wisdom.

One of the passages in the Bible says that it is easier for the poor to enter the ‘house of God’ (‘awakening into wisdom’) than for the rich.  This means that the poor, due to lack of all societal and financial means, may go through much more pain than the rich, thus his mind might turn all his suffering into wisdom/into an awakening.  So whatever you go through, remind yourself that all suffering, all failures, all misfortunes, all diseases have a purpose; and you mustn’t doubt this, because such doubt brings you more confusion and suffering.  You have to see through your pain and turn it into a strength, wisdom, experience which can shape you into a better, more prepared person; for this is the purpose of all your suffering, and by embracing it, by overcoming it, you grab the scepter of power.
Buddha.  Jesus.  Muhammad.  Lao Tzu.  Osho.  This is how the sage becomes the sage.  No sage or wise man is born a sage or wise man.  He becomes awakened by learning from his own pain; but he must be prepared to see through his pain instead of just complain and moan about it.
