The man of truth.

You reach truth by forging yourself, not by following society and doing what they are doing.

 

People do not live by the truth, but they tell themselves that they do.  People drink alcohol, smoke, they become addicted to drugs, to sex, to partying, they become attached and obsessed with other people, with material things also, they eat meats and fill themselves with all types of unhealthy foods.  And yet, they tell themselves that they are highly moral and seeking to be better human beings.  How pathetic is this?!

The man of truth is the ONLY one who is not afraid, the ONLY one who is truly confident, and the ONLY one who illumines his path by himself and without falling into the pleasures and miseries offered by society.

When he speaks his mind, having before analyzed himself and what he claims to know, he does it without prejudice, without anger, without anxiety, and without seeking the approval from others–from family, friends, or from whomever.

When you do something unhealthy for yourself, and when you say or think something negative or unhealthy for yourself as well, you are denying yourself.  Why…??

Because by being egoistical, prideful, and by bringing into your mind fear, confusion, negativity, any type of immorality, you are then denying your true self, the one which resides beyond your petty ego, your corrupted choices, and your self-inflicted sufferings about yourself and the world around you.

So, never worry about people’s reactions, never be attached to that, because that is not your concern; however, your ONLY concern must be your own morality in thought, word, and in action.  Tell and do truth, kindly, respectfully; but firmly, with confidence.

No traditions.  No religions.  No cultures.  No pleasing others.  ONLY truth.  See this fact!  Learn to see the reality of life!

Where it lies.

When you hear Krishnamurti or Osho, or some other wise person, say that YOU are the world, that YOU are society, this is indeed not some spiritual and philosophical sentence for you to worship and repeat like a parrot without deeply knowing what it means.

It literally means YOU are the world.  If you are anxious, frustrated, suffering about the life of others, it is because you have no peace in your mind.  A truly awakened person sees the suffering in the world, feels for it, tries to help in some way; but then he moves on.

Moving on means to keep your attention inwardly, focusing on building your own peace of mind; because life is about happiness and, even though you must help others, you have to constantly work on YOUR own happiness.  First your health.  First your peace of mind.   First your psychological, emotional, and physical well-being.  Later, the rest.  First, YOU, then others.

The world is unconscious, it can be terrible, immoral, the cause of depression; however, to experience the opposite of this, happiness in you, you must learn to look at the terrible world, live in it, but keep your focus on you, on your wholeness.  This is what the path to Enlightenment, or to happiness, is all about.

Once you truly understand that the path lies inwards and that suffering the world is egoistical, then you will illumine yourself and begin your transformation into a better human being; but until then you are just pursuing your own sense of self-importance, playing the victim, and reflecting your lack of maturity into the world.

Steps to Enlightenment.

Stupid is to believe that you are thinking without really inquiring and realizing what you are doing.  Being unconscious is the choice you make, and to wake up, if you truly desire it that is, starts step by step.

Start with health, because if you are not truly healthy then no awakening is possible, no intelligence will flourish, and your brain will not function properly to allow you to see reality as it is.

You need great amounts of energy to wake up from stupidity, to awaken, to enlighten yourself; and so, health brings you that clean, vast energy.  Be honest with yourself:  Are you eating healthy…?? 

Are you consuming fruits and vegetables and adding all the nutrients that your body needs, or are you always choosing unhealthy foods and making excuses??

I choose health above ALL else personally.  I do a quick research on the foods I eat, what nutrients they have, what they do to my body specifically.  Health leads you to feel good about yourself, feeling good about yourself helps you have a clear thinking and confidence for everything you do.


Just following thoughts and imitating others and the way they eat is what being stupid really is.   And don’t eat with your ego, but eat with intelligence.  So, next time you think is difficult to awaken, think that awakening, intelligence, enlightenment, starts with the morality of health.  Stop your pitiful excuses.

Greater Evolution.

The essence, the very heart and soul of this physical existence is that each one of us is here to learn to transmute; that is, to transform our moments of depression, our losses, our own suffering into something we can use to move on, some strength to see into the future, some light into darkness.

That is the whole point of your life, to be who you are trapped inside, the one you do not know yet, the one buried underneath all your self-pity and sadness, buried deep under your opinions and beliefs of how life should be for you.

Quite often people imagine their lives, their futures, their desires, and they expect them to happen so, they become attached to these manifestations in their psyche.  But is this truly healthy…??  Is this truly real…??

Life is not something vain out of your ego, so you must learn to see this and welcome life as it comes to you.  Enjoy and learn, transform the moments of challenge and anger into moments from which you can develop yourself as a better person.

A better person who can actually make good choices and behave morally superior than he/she was before, as the person deeply buried under all the suffering and self-pity of egoistical desires and expectations.

No human creature is the same from moment to moment, we all change emotionally and psychologically, and even physiologically as our cells go through transformation; however, this evolution, this change we live, is in fact what makes human experience something of great worth, so you can learn to become better the next moment of your life, and the next one, and so on and so forth.

What is your direction in life…??

Whether you are 20 years old or 90 years old that title poses a very deep and important question to you, to all of us.  Because it is not about your distant future, but about what you are doing this moment; that is, what is your energy trying to accomplish, what is your direction, what drives you, what motivations you have to do this right now.  You have to find out what is your reason for doing what you are doing, find the light and the marvel in all you do; otherwise you will lose interest and confidence in your direction in life, thus your energy will be depleted and thoughts of depression and meaninglessness will enter your mind.

In each moment we are transforming energy and directing energy.  Of course, this energy is creative; we create with our thoughts, we create with our feelings, and we create with our actions…  “Wherever we direct our attention, we expend creative energy.”  ~ Samael Aun Weor…  The “goal” or essence of life in this physical realm is structure, structure guides us and maintains us focused; so in any spiritual path (moral path of the human being) to learn how to properly manage that energy is our “goal”, to use that energy in the right way, in order to stop trapping the energy in the ego-centers of the mind, to cease that bad habit which one might be constantly performing even without awareness.

And for that, to direct and structure these energies, to step out of the ego and tame or wild and wayward thoughts, discipline is the key.  It is freedom to be ourselves and express what we really have inside us; thus, a good, illuminating, healthy discipline focuses the mind and maintains it focused and directing its energy in something of value, so transmuting energy which can be otherwise wasted in trivialities and unconscious endeavors we now turn into value and identity from our inner selves.  And isn’t the most gratifying and greatly blissful thing to know that we have value within us and actually see that value every day…??

So, do not pay attention to your situation but focus on your discipline and on creating value within yourself, for yourself; not to be praised or admired by others, but to be recognized and loved by yourself, to see the value you actually have right now within yourself–otherwise you will lose interest and lose your own way in life.

And I would say the most important part of your life, the one that builds character and morals, health and confidence are practices of discipline.  For example, I get up every morning at 5 am to meditate one hour, then I check my messages from email and Facebook, then I exercise, then take a cold shower, and so on and so forth. 

But discipline must be built in practices you see as important and healthy for you, individually just for you, nobody should tell you; and if you do this, in time, you will develop a routine and build your confidence and strength.  Everything you do in life must be made with determination and confidence, and a set of discipline in small things in life molds your mind to have determination and confidence in all other aspects of life.

The prayer of Enlightenment.

If I watch somebody else’s suffering, whether a human or animal or a tree being destroyed, and I feel as One with great empathy in my heart towards that being’s suffering–that is a prayer.  If I keep a clear and truthful mind which sees through my own ego’s selfishness and frustrations–that is a prayer.  If I consider my own body and mind sacred as the temple of the true God in me, so I eat healthily and feed my mind with compassion for others and for myself–that is a prayer.  If I control my emotional reactions towards others and accept my own flaws and work on them–that is a prayer. 

This is an example of what prayer really is.  Because the ignorant people of the world believes prayer is a ritual, whether kneeling and repeating like a parrot stupid words or thinking about some saint and holding some religious object; however, this is the fantasy and ignorance of the ego, this is blasphemous and based on fear.  The real prayer is Enlightenment, it is based on love, pure love for yourself and for all beings; therefore, the real prayer begins as a thought in your mind, then it turns into your better behavior–you eat right, you take care of your mind, you love yourself in all aspects, and thus this love expands onto others (thus it blesses others).  Have you ever known real prayer then…??  Or are you still stuck in the prayer of the ignorant followers of the world…??

When you start living based on truth and see through the laziness and conditioning of your own ego, you will know true prayer; but until then you are bound to rituals, to empty words and religious views.  Perhaps you are not religious per se, but still the influence of religions in this world is so vast that you see people kneeling and chanting mantras, baptizing themselves in some holy water nonsense, humiliating themselves in front of a crucified Jesus figure, or talking to some fantastical god in the clouds, and your own mind starts believing these forms to be prayers. These may fill the people with faith and good feelings, but these are just based on fear–they do this because everybody does it, they do this because it makes them feel superior as saints and good people, there is a selfish sentiment there, “I am doing it so people see me,” “I am a good person, a good saintly person,” “Look how devout I am, I deserve blessings!”

Do you see the mindset of these man-made creations…??  These people “pray” like this, as empty, as repetitive, as mere followers of some popular trend, and then what…??  They go home and treat their own bodies (their temples) as amusement–they think negatively, they argue, they eat greedily and unhealthily, they hate each other, they support wars and prejudice amongst different peoples, etc.  Think about it carefully, answer yourself:  Is this really praying…??  Do you pray like this…??

Moving forwards…

Self-love is the beginning of every great and inspirational thought, of every great and inspirational feeling, of every great and inspirational deed; so, if a human being cannot love himself beyond his mundane thoughts and superficial appearance, then he will not be able to experience true happiness and truly love others.

But he will confuse pleasure with true love and thus he will suffer and fail many times in his life, while making the same mistakes over and over again until, and if ever, he learns to develop self-love.

Forgiveness is one of the greatest acts regarding self-love, because it is all about truly freeing your own mind, loving yourself; and once you let go of the hurt from past memories, then your mind is free to embrace self-love and to move on, while you are not tied anymore to hate and anger and you can heal yourself.


Even something as terrible as rape can be forgiven, not forgotten, obviously; but, nevertheless, you can remove the anger and hatred from your mind which is destroying your abilities to move on and be happy, thus you self-love.

I am not saying forgiving the stupidities of people is easy, not even close to that; but I am saying that it is worth it, because it is all about your healthy development and the embrace of greater strengths.

Whatever happened in your life a minute or ten years ago is in the past, and now in your memory; and because it is a memory, you may never forget it, but because it is in fact this memory in thought-form, you can make peace with it.  And so with daily practice, patiently, focused on your own development, you can let go, you can help yourself.

The easiest, most selfish and lazy thing the human being does is to follow his own ego blindly, like a brute with no brains at all; so, to remain attached to anger and hatred, to choose to follow stupid memories and let these thoughts consume you, is to deny the divine opportunities, the inner strength, life has given you to move on and raise above your own flawed mind, thus stupidity and stubbornness, thus a very selfish and pitiful state of mind.  This is of the weak mind, thus also of the weak individual as a whole who cannot even rule over his own mind.
To forgive then is of the strong mind, because to forgive is to see beyond your own lazy ego and reach deep within you for the strength to move on and be happy.  This takes guts and a very tamed mind.  This takes some greater mastery over yourself.
Are you the weak one or the strong one then…??  Are you an inferior human being or a superior one…??

Flow with it…

There is no more self-destruction and constant suffering of the mind than that of constantly regretting and thinking about past errors and bad experiences, because this is feeding the ego who constantly likes to feel like a victim and hinder any real progress that means moving on and becoming wiser.

The pain of the past and of the present also is there, in the midst of our experiences, for a noble and inspirational reason; and that reason is to help us evolve and absorb wisdom to move on and become better human beings.  To learn and embrace all self-love.

All fear we have lingering in our minds and that we experience is either made by us a blessing or a curse, and we must embrace it and use it as a blessing to become stronger, thus grateful of past experiences of whatever nature.

Everything and anything in life, even if your ego cannot understand it now, is a lesson to be learned, it is for our minds to learn acceptance and intelligence in every step we take to move on with our lives.

Life flows just like a body of rich and fresh water, and your ways of thinking, your ways of behaving and interacting in your own life must match this, must flow with life, along life, through life, become one with life (and whatever happens in it); that is, just accept what you cannot change, learn from mistakes and past experiences, do not just rush into things but analyze and stop reacting without truly understanding something.

This acceptance is to nurture ourselves and become one with life itself, because in this acceptance we see and experience pain, fear, and all heartbreak as a lesson; however, in order for us to see and accept this, we must tame our ego and not become victims of its nonsense.


So, learn to be wiser and see beyond all the past experiences and challenges you had; then, be grateful and accept the wisdom in these past experiences.

Free to be…

Living your life expecting and desiring for something to happen is living in the illusion of the ego, in the illusion of the future, and it is not living the moment, enjoying every second of it.

You are mentally enslaving your whole body, with expectations, ambitions, desires, stresses which take this same body to illness; thus, you are projecting all these problems that do not exist or desires which are allowed to run your life, and you are inflicting suffering throughout your daily engagement.  These are problems that are not really there but live in the imagination of your troubled mind, they seep into your psyche and then into your subconscious, pretty soon you make them into your habitual personality and your mind starts to think that this is normal behavior, while you become a magnet for illness and all kinds of hardships. 
This ignorant process distorts reality itself because our minds live in constant agitation and worry about what we are expecting or about what we think it could happen in the future.

In order to live our lives with a peaceful and harmonious mind we must accept life and its events as they are, we must work towards a higher goal but never become obsessed or filled with expectation; so, just work towards something your heart desires but let it go in your mind, say “if it happens, happens; if it doesn’t, it doesn’t.  It won’t affect me either way.”
And with this, your mind is liberated from all the chains of expectation and desire; then, your body feels free and no stress can overwhelm it, you become stronger and more confident, resilient and agile to endure all challenges.

Stress and all worry can only live and thrive in the past and future, as you recall memories that were and also expect the future to be the way your desire wants it to be.  This is forcing yourself, not respecting nature to do its job; and it is the opposite of love, it is fear.

You owe it to your inner self to be stress free.
You owe it to your inner self to work and focus upon the moment.
This is embracing self-love and wisdom as you live in the Eternal Now for a better life.

Breaking the chain.

If one truly desires to better one’s own life and elevate the mind through peace and self-love, then one must choose people carefully, or choose the time to be spent and the interaction one has with people.

There is no middle; either you are fully committed to better yourself, your thoughts, your behavior, your life, or you are lazy and ignorant enough to remain in the same place in your life all the time without any higher goals.  It is always your choice and not your surroundings.

But your choice and your passion may be influenced by the people around you, by the conversations, by the arguments; and, furthermore, specially influenced by the people you love or befriend, so you must tread carefully and not engage with toxic or negative people.

Toxic or negative people are individuals who put you down in any way, who gossip about others, who complain a lot, who always blame others, who do not fully respect your imagination and way of thinking, who are lazy themselves, who mistreat others, etc. etc.

 

It is extremely important that you do not spend your time with these people, choose wisely even if they are family; that is, do not avoid them if in fact they are family and you love them, but do not absorb what they preach, and specially do not fall into their arguments, into their traps.
Accept them as they are, do not try to change their thinking, just smile and walk away.  Be aware that self-love and your development is crucial in your life, and for all success and happiness, and that is why you must not let toxic arguments and emotions invade the holiness of your temple.

Your own mind must be pure and elevated, so only worry about that and not about others.  Analyze this wisdom and become it.
