Your very own Issues…

Many people dread and even find great distress and desperation in their own negative or dark thoughts and reactions.  Many people allow themselves to be consumed by the ideas they have of themselves, perhaps ideas and visions of the flaws and weaknesses they carry around.  This is the master illusion, that by “illusion” I do not mean “not real to you”; for whatever you believe and allow to obsess you becomes real to you, but ONLY it is real if you keep feeding it your belief through your constant thoughts of fear and preoccupation.

Carrying this with you all the time gets to be a burden and it becomes your identity, so you become a slave to your own flaws and weaknesses–i.e., to your dark illusion and the ego you constantly feed.  Maybe this victimization brings more fear to you and more weakness to you, and so you deplete yourself of positive ideas and better views of yourself and of your situations; and so, this is certainly not conducive to a stronger and more valued you, and slowly you fall into depression and moodiness.

If you are contented one moment, then sad the next, then angry, then joyous, then irritable, you are suffering from moodiness, or changeable moods–could be Bipolar Disorder, Chronic Anxiety, etc.  And all this, whether officially diagnosed or not, stems from lack of control of your own mind’s content, which we know as ego; therefore, what creates all issues and problems of mind, exacerbated by genetics and traumas and whatnot, is your own ego and its many aggregates.  The way you deal with your own ego and its aggregates is the way you will feel and experience your life.

But you cannot wash your hands like Pontius Pilate, and so take medicine and ignore your own mind, you must change your mental programming and fix your own issues, gain control of your own mind by inward attention and daily practice–i.e., you must create your health yourself, self-transformation.

Young Jesus.

There are more than 100 gospels out there, not in the recognized Bible of course–i.e., gospels not recognized by The Catholic Church.  For example, “The young Jesus Gospel,” “Protoevangelium of Santiago,” “Pseudo Mateo,” “Nativity of The Virgin,” etc. etc.  And I wrote something on Jesus’s travels before, when he was older; but, however, I want to share a few stories or mentions about his youth which I think shed some light on the personality and behavior of Jesus’s character.

According to this, Jesus was born on the 21 st of august of the year -7 (or year 7 before Christ) in the city of Bethlehem, instead of a 24 or 25 of December (Christmas) as the celebration goes today.  Jesus was a “Nazarite”–word which means “one who lives apart” or “one who has made a vow of abstinence.”  Joseph, Samson, Enoch, John The Baptist, and others, were all born in this socio-political vow to God or brotherhood society.  And so, as a Nazarite, Jesus was not allowed to drink or eat anything made with grapes, touch the dead body of a human or animal, and was not to cut his hair (remember, Samson’s hair was cut and broke the vow to God; therefore, he lost his strength given by God).  A Nazarite was called to be in a position of a priest to intercede on behalf of the people; and he was supposedly meant to be in a position of spiritual or religious power when mature enough.

It says that Jesus was born in a “cave” (back then it was not uncommon for poor or “average” people to live in caves, so “homey” caves were found in between cities like Bethlehem, and also IN Bethlehem which was a poor place).  Joseph had his own sons and was with them when Jesus was born.  I quote from the ‘Protoevangelium of Santiago,’ “…And he found a cave, took Mary there, left his sons, and then went on to find a ‘Jewish nurse’ or ‘old maid’ (someone to help deliver the baby) to the city of Bethlehem.”

Later, when Joseph and Mary took baby Jesus to a place in Egypt, escaping from the great killing of new-borns, they spent almost a year there.  Then they traveled to another city in Egypt, Alexandria, which was famous for being the biggest center of trade and also of intellectualism (they had tourism from around the world, the biggest ports, and the biggest library–and remind yourself that back then most people were poor and ignorant, so to have access to books from different cultures and all culturally rich experience in the trade centers was truly magnificent).  There, Joseph learned to work with wood and rock as a specialty; and in time became a “master builder” with some fame in the region.  And this is important, after about 4 years there, they left and were gifted a big book enriched with lots of cultural and spiritual knowledge, which would be very important for the mental expansion of Jesus in later years.  Attaining universal knowledge would be Jesus’s “purpose” as he was growing up, because expanding one’s mind is EXTREMELY important to achieve Enlightenment.

When Jesus was four years old, he met Jacob–his first and truest friend during his youth, and Jacob was a strong child who would protect Jesus from other children and play with him.  Also, when Jesus was four, his first brother, Santiago, was born.  Santiago became very close to Jesus and so admired him, because Jesus was a very poised, curious, creative, and mature child for his age; Jesus loved his parents very much, obeyed and listened to all they said to him, learned to work with wood and rock or stone like his father, helped his mother cook and do chores in the home, and he also learned to play the harp (musical instrument).  Jesus was taught also to sculpt, so he would draw and create, and then make beautiful figures in clay or “barro.”  Sometimes, when drawing figures in public, people would call him ‘blasphemous’ or would tell the priests and men of religious law; because the Jewish law stated ‘not to adore or create images,’ and they were really strict in that sense.

Later on, Joseph opens his own shop and makes good business assisting “caravans” (migrations) and all works of wood, stone and leather to the surrounding peoples.  He buys land, animals, a nicer home; and so, Jesus gets to take care of the animals, learns to work with other workers of his father, and becomes also a student of his father’s profession–all this along with his literary pursuits…  This is very interesting now: When Jesus was four years old, he was playing by the river Jordan and had made some creative water channels.  And I quote from ‘The Nativity of Christ’,  “But one of the other children, ‘Son of Satan,’ studied with envy the access of the water channels made by him, then destroyed Jesus’s work.  Then Jesus said, ‘Fall hell upon you!, Son of Disgrace!, Son of Death!, Son of Satan!!  You dare destroy what I do?!’  And then, after Jesus said this, the child who did wrong died.  And then Jesus’s mother came to him because she saw everything which had happened, and she reprimanded him severely.  So, Jesus turned and said to the dead child, ‘Arise, Son of Iniquity!  You are not worthy of entering the place of my Father!’  After Jesus said this, the dead child rose and left…”

It is your own mind.

Whatever your mind tells you will drive your actions, and with your actions or behaviors you will either create your life or destroy your life.  This process, obviously, dictates the pleasant or unpleasant journey you have, and it shapes the interactions with those surrounding you; thus, this will create in you either self-love or a large and powerful ego which will rule you.  And the difference is in what you feed your own mind.

Your mind is like a baby absorbing everything he experiences, and if you neglect or give the wrong education to this baby, then he will grow up to be unhappy and unsuccessful in his own life; he will adopt rebellious and even criminal thoughts, and even end up self-destructing and leading others to a dark abyss of the same unhappiness.

In order to give attention and love to that baby, you must spend time with that growing baby, acknowledge the potential for greatness in that baby, feel yourself proud of the education you give that baby.  The mind grows stronger and wiser if you spend quality time with it, not just reacting to your environment and outside situations but being there, studying your thoughts, analyzing yourself and your emotions towards whatever happens.

Embrace the silence within yourself and stop looking for ways to fill that silence.  Watch the inner reactions, self-talks, behaviors you have with yourself, and also watch the interaction with others; and in this manner you will rule and design your life with much love and prosperity.  And isn’t that the whole point of life…??

The Sprouting Seed.

Some of us experience, at some point in our lives, a strong “calling or deep desire” to fulfill ourselves beyond the mere urges or wants of the physical kind; and in a way we may wonder at our own feelings trapped behind nagging spiritual or divine questions and dilemmas, or perhaps we become just tired in our own lives’ monotony.  A spiritual inquietude, or spiritual restlessness, is an “itch” or a longing, a stimulus within our pure consciousness, something that is deep within our psyche that longs “to know” (gnosis).

This longing to discover and KNOW, if it is indeed a true desire or longing, is driven by a spiritual force in us which seeks freedom; that is, it seeks a freedom that your terrestrial life or lifestyle cannot give it.  Ever felt this…??   Are you going through this right now…??

Our soul is a seed merely, and throughout our lives our soul tries to get out from the oppression of our immorality or morality lack–which is the selfishness of our choices and passions.  All of us feel this urge to express, to emerge, to become; and this urgency is particularly strong when we are in our adolescence and even earlier youth, which is why young people tend to make so many basic mistakes.

This is the urge of the soul-seed wanting to experience freedom, liberation and expansion through higher moral ways via our human structure; but, sadly, most people, specially most young people, ignore the calling by following mere desires of the ego in search for a fulfillment which never comes–they always want more and more because they deviate from the true path of divine fulfillment.  But this happens at all ages; so be aware of it.

This situation is analogous to what we observe in the life of any plant or tree, which in the course of its existence will release or liberate from itself millions of seeds.  Those seeds will be scattered in its environment in order to propagate the species.  But the vast majority of those seeds, all of which feel that longing to become a great tree, will be lost.

Each of us is a seed:

1) Some fall into barren soil to never grow–i.e., lost by their own desires which never fulfill them they remain always dry and empty souls.

2) Some fall into a soil too moist and muddy–i.e., lost in their millions of opinions, set of rigid beliefs, philosophies of life, and fantastical imaginations; so, they remain always in their own little worlds, with a strong desire and faith but no truth in them.

3) But then there is the sprouting seed that is active and expands itself (divine desire for freedom), it opens and blossoms beautifully because the soil for it (the environment and knowledge sought) is perfect, destined to be–and this soul just grows and grows without end.

See Death for what it really is.

Death is something profoundly significant, a wonderful mystery; and it is by discovering the true meaning and wonder of death that we discover true life–i.e., the secret to bliss in life and the meaning of each moment we are alive (whether moments of joy or of sadness).  But that which we call “death” can ONLY be truly understood and accepted, welcomed and even loved, by a consciousness which is ABSOLUTELY free–i.e., by an awakened consciousness.
This awakened consciousness then is not under the tyranny of the ego, filled with beliefs and traditions, opinions and superstitions around death; hence, the content of the mind has gotten rid of fear and attachment, or transmuted them into pure love and understanding.

Why do people fear death…??  People fear and become violent to what they do not understand.  For example, many times it has happened to me here, and in my life outside here, that I have commented the truth of humanity’s behavior, but people seemingly paying attention to my words, in their vain egos, swallowed and enslaved by their egotism, have become defensive, reactive and event verbally violent.  Thus, in the same sense, people fear death because their minds are not free, their minds being obsessed and attached to their own material pleasures–i.e., attached to environments, to people, to activities, to thinking and feeling, to their own opinions and views (all causes of suffering trapping consciousness).

We all know that when the body ceases function, and so does the brain with its electrical conductivity, we die and later disintegrate in the grave; however, our consciousness (the conscious energy inside our disintegrated atoms) is now free from the mind and its ego, and so it travels or it goes back to the “luminescent origins.”  Thus the soul of the deceased continues to live within the superior dimensions of nature; and this means in fact that the disembodied souls can “see” the Sun, the Moon, the stars, the rivers, the valleys, the mountains, just like we, but in a more splendid manner.

So, you see, one must not fear death but seek to understand it, as one must seek to understand it all which is possible to understand, in order to expand our minds, free our consciousness, and become more confident, blissful, and less ego-driven individuals.

Two Gods in The Quest for Moral Growth.

quote-our-life-is-a-long-and-arduous-quest-after-truth-and-the-soul-requires-inward-restfulness-to-attain-mahatma-gandhi-328413
What the world and religions call “God” has been an invention of man. Of course, there is a force eternal of Creation as we know it, and that is the entity which gives men and women rationality and capacity for understanding and illumination to see truth beyond ego, and most importantly gives humankind morality and the capacity to further develop that morality to be always better human beings. Now, religions, specially The Christian World, has created TWO Gods to answer morality questions, which also show Christianity’s rigid and restrictive rules and views:

1) We have the God of the early Bible (The Old Testament), the God of Abraham and Moises–and this is a wrathful God, a God that brings revenge and terror on whomever does not obey His Laws (i.e., the Flood and Noah’s Ark, Abraham attempting to kill his own son, etc.).

2) The new testament’s God, the God that Jesus preached or taught to the multitudes, is a God of pure love, of great tolerance, of “putting the other cheek” as Jesus himself taught (which is why The Pharisees did not like his teachings as Jesus threatened the old laws of the first God)–and this is then the evolution of a SUPERIOR God, the evolution of the understanding man has about the world and about what God should be…  So, can you see these two Gods man has created out of his evolving understanding of himself and of the world in which he lives…??

Because man created these two Gods, because The Bible and ancient texts are mere attempts to make men more moral by creating stories and myths that bring hope, faith, and awe to his heart and to the people of the entire world…  And so, this takes us to YOUR individual life.  Are you still attached to stories, myths, beliefs, opinions, rigid and irrational philosophies like the first God….??  Or are you open-minded, always ready to learn about everything and anything, not blinded by your own opinion and pleasures, and ONLY seeking vaster knowledge to turn into a higher moral human being…??

There is no worse blindness than the blindness of the man who wishes to remain blind because he believes he has already found the truth.  So, seek rationality and conscience in all you think, feel, and do; and beware, religions and society sometimes will tell you that rationality can be the opposite of faith, that faith is a belief in things not seen and that BLIND FAITH is a requirement for spiritual growth.  Know that they are all trying to deceive you!  Faith can ONLY be manifested when the human creature knows truth, when it has no doubt and confusion; and faith is the CONSTANT search for truth in the rational mind–i.e., a mind given to you for the purpose of spiritual and moral growth.

Creation of God.

In the beginning, some good men, being endowed with higher thinking and rationality, saw that mankind needed guidelines for morality and conduct, because they saw that mankind easily followed animal passions and outbursts of immorality (as it continues today).  So, these good men of rationality started creating stories of superior deities and divinity, such stories which brought awe and respect, faith and a sense of humility into otherwise wild men.
So, as man evolved and its societies around the world did so as well, then came divine writings and myths; from The Sumerians and Egyptians to India and to all of Christianity, these books or writings were known as “Holy” because they indeed transformed the human creature, they brought the sacred unto man–that is, the sacred divinity WITHIN man already.  It guided men and women into ways of morality and love, and that was the purpose of these universal scriptures.

And so, these universal scriptures which took the beast in man and turned it into a better moral creature were called “the stories or messages of God/from God to man.”  God being this sacred entity in man which was reminded to them by these scriptures and the holy messages they carried.  Now, it so happened then that these myths and stories which exulted or sanctified man gained mayor popularity in their cultures and traditions; that is, there was an impact in each country, for all the countries sought some sort of divinity.

And so, man in his ego formed institutions called religions; as they had institutions for material goods all over the world already, and now they had institutions for “spiritual goods” all over the world as well–each religion (institution) adopted its own stories and myths.  But it so happened that as man and society developed, man forgot that these were just stories and myths, and so strict and vain dogmas and rules appeared in religions while making this same man obey them without choice; and religions then became more a dictatorship of the world than a liberation of the spirit inside man.

Now, of course, these stories and myths were written based on something real; for the GREAT creativity of the mind of man does this, it creates based on something it sees and/or experiences in life.  So we can say these scriptures are tremendously important for the higher morality in us, because they bring hope and faith, and belief in the divinity inside us all; however, we must remind ourselves that these are still stories created by man and his imagination, and so we must seek also truth in science and fact–unite the two into one, thus guide your life and fill your body with light…  “The light of the body is the eye; if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.” ~ Matthew 6: 22.

Kundalini Awakening: The godly Fire Within.

Ah yes, the old “Kundalini Awakening.”  But what is it…??  Although the term Kundalini is from Sanskrit and is associated with Indian mysticism, Tantra, and Yoga, the word refers to a living element in nature (so, within us, within our nature) and is thus known in all religions by different names.  In Judaism and Kabbalah, it is called Shekinah.  In Christianity, it is the fire of the Pentacost that illuminated the apostles and it is also where Moses acquired The Ten Commandments from God–that is, God gives to each one of us the commandments to purify ourselves and illumination to live better lives in the heights of our mind (mount Sinai) through Kundalini Awakening.  And in Buddhism it is known by many names, such as Candali.

So, Kundalini, the serpent power or mystic fire, is the primordial energy or Sakti that lies dormant or sleeping in the Muladhara Chakra, the centre of the body.  It is called the serpentine or annular power on account of serpentine form in the spine.  It is an electric fiery occult power, the great pristine force which underlies all organic and inorganic matter.  Kundalini then is the cosmic power in individual bodies; and it is not a material force like electricity, magnetism, centripetal or centrifugal force, but a SPIRITUAL POTENTIAL Sakti or cosmic power.  So, in reality it has no form.

The human being wakes all his senses–outer and inner ones–via the cleanse and reanimation of The Third Eye (which is located biologically in the center of the brain, at the height and between the eyes, which is also called the pineal gland).  When the pineal gland is illuminated all the IN-SIGHT and IN-TUITION is enhanced in the person and The Kingdom Of God is seen at the end of the ladder (at the end up the spine, in the awakened conscience of man) by the person who was before sleeping in The Third Dimensional state of existence (the plane of confusion and suffering/the fallen Adam and eve state) and now is awake in The Fourth Dimensional state of existence (the plane of wholeness and bliss/of Adam and Eve in The Paradise and walking with God).

48366427_595386740894692_3075960053027569664_n

This means a full animation, or RE-animation, of all the senses–intelligence beyond intellect and intuitive wisdom–swallows the whole interaction of the person.  It is when man reaches illumination through the purity and cleanse of the mind, higher morality, and the union of intellect and heart.

The Historical Side of Jesus.

What most people knows about this great character called Jesus is what the scriptures and religions tell them, because the scriptures and religions are meant to raise spirit, faith, hope, and all morality in the human being (or they should); however, truth is, the scriptures were written by people who loved Jesus dearly, Christians, and people who were not historians but good people who desired to build a myth or an uplifting story for you.  And the early Christians were mostly illiterate, and stories about Jesus were passed on orally; thereby growing in the telling of imaginative invention or adding personal beliefs by the individual telling the story.  And they weren’t written down until at least 30 years after Jesus’s death, and often much later. Then, in subsequent decades, the gospels were repeatedly edited.

1) On the one hand (the scriptures side), we have the divine being preaching salvation, the perfect God-man who abhorred any kind of violence against the tyranny of The Romans.

2) On the other hand (the texts of history side), there is a wise yet rebellious man in the TRADITION of Jewish popular revolution; that is, a good and strategic man who heard the cries of The Jewish people, was strongly moved by them, and honestly desired to free them, not only spiritually but physically as well.  And historically there is good evidence that this 2nd man was more real than the first:  For example, the earliest of the New Testament gospels, Mark, does not describe Jesus’s birth or infancy.  The story of the virgin birth is found first in Matthew and Luke, who were attempting to show that Jesus’s birth fulfilled Old Testament prophecy, and thus that he was the messiah–the promised leader who would free Jews from the Romans.  And personally, I see this as an attempt to create a greater divinity and heavenly myth around the man called Jesus, to give future generations hope and faith and a way to believe in something greater than themselves.

Luke also says Joseph (Jesus’s father) was descended from King David, from whose line the messiah was supposed to come; and so build the story of a Roman census so Jesus seems to be born in Bethlehem, King David’s birthplace.  Now, the scriptures say that Mary and Joseph traveled to their place of origin for the census; however, there is no historical record of a census at that time, and the idea that the Romans would require people to return to their place of family origin to be counted is not accurate at all.  And various more inaccuracies appear in the scriptures’ accounts.

maxresdefault

Now, historian Josephus says about the Zealots–who were a political movement which sought to incite the people of Judea Province to rebel against the Roman Empire and expel it from the Holy Land by force of arms:  “They persuaded the Jews to revolt, inflicting death on those who continued in obedience to the Roman government, and plundered the houses of this great men.”  So, these revolutions or rebellions were often led by many self-proclaimed Messiahs and men who honestly preached salvation–something common in those days because everybody was waiting for a messiah already.  Josephus then of these men states, “Deceivers and impostors, who under the pretense of divine inspiration fostering revolutionary changes, persuaded the multitude to act like madmen.”

Jesus was not born poor, as the scripture paints this image of great material humility or scarcity.  Joseph was a carpenter, and in those days the whole of society was rock and wood; so his skills in carpentry were well paid, and history tells us that he was in charge of other carpenters as well.  Jesus then inherited his land and his company when Joseph died; he was an artisan who traveled vastly and also became wise in all knowledge.  But Jesus was close to peasant society; all of the images in his parables and his aphorisms are firmly rooted in peasant society and call upon everyday things like a sower, or sowing seed.  But they also call upon images of land owners and relationships between slave owners and slaves, masters and servants.  So Jesus seems to have been aware of that level of the socio-economic mix.  So, he was a very well-known and respected artisan and wise man before starting his ministry as teacher.

History points to the fact that he was prepared to lead the way into a revolution, and that being loved by the great masses he did lead them against the Romans.  And so, think to yourself, why would The Romans kill a lowly spiritual teacher if he was not an actual threat to their POLITICAL rule then…??  But it makes sense that Jesus was crucified for being a physical revolutionary.  By the way, The Jewish people had nothing to do with Jesus’s killing on history’s account; because by Jewish law death by crucifixion was NOT permitted back then.  The fact that Jesus was made into a martyr, gives people a better, more faithful and emotive story; and this helps religion to grow more members.

Having said that,  this article or writing is not about making you believe anything but about sharing what history says about him.  To really illuminate yourself, you must have in mind all views and not just the ones you like; for THE GREATEST SIN, if we may call it that, is ignorance, which means a mind that is small and attached to one viewpoint.

Beware The Seductive Whore.

i
Finding the hidden truths, allowing your conscience to be illumined, detaching yourself from people and old views and beliefs, must be the goal of every moment you are alive; for that is indeed the great purpose of being alive and developing in this life, and let NO ONE tell you otherwise and sell you their ignorant deceit.  And that is exactly what people around you will seek to tell you, and that is also what any institution in your society will seek to tell you; and that is, that you should worship Jesus, or Buddha, or such and such prophet or priest, or the scriptures, or your hard-earned money, or even people you love.

But paradise, truth, love in its divine essence, is not meant for ANY KIND of worshiper; for worshipers are worshipers because they are attached to the ignorant philosophy of superiority and inferiority.  The worshiper feels inferior to the worshiped, so the ego creates this illusion which creates a brutal duality; therefore, inferiority and superiority are born, the victim seeks a liberator (whether another human being or an object), the slave seeks someone or something to free him.  This process of worshiping confuses the mind, hides the truth, buries the Innermost inside you under thick layers of beliefs and under thick layers of fear/victimization.

The problem is that when you feel like a victim you feel depressed and frustrated, chained to situations and to a very crude human nature where you do not see a way out; hence, the distortion of reality, the loss of truth, and the dictatorship of fear in you.  This feeling of inferiority in you is something that society–its religions, its politics, its academic education, its commercial agendas, etc.–wants desperately, because when you are held hostage by confusion and fear then your mind is naive and easily corrupted and controlled–so you buy unnecessary and unhealthy items, you seek worshiping religions and men of nice titles, you listen to any garbage music they make without caring what it does to your mind, etc. etc.

The only freedom is in questioning everything, in dissecting all they give you, because in this your mind will expand and find truth; and in this you will leave the seductive darkness of attachment–i.e., attachment to people, attachment to ideologies, attachment to institutions, attachment to ALL material things.

48266720_595534647546568_3212795701033435136_n
To worship has been distorted and made something stupid and vulgar, as men and women take objects like money or politics or religions and also ideals like the scriptures and things which man says and become seekers of this; however, to truly worship is to seek your inner self through health and applying ideas and philosophies which can purify your mind and heart, so your actions in the world are of higher morality as a better human being.  Truth is always the goal, not the feeding of the ego through comforting beliefs and ideas; follow the truth wherever it leads you, destroy your illusions, seek The Kingdom of God/Illumination of your conscience.  This indeed we can call the true art of worship.
