Beyond genius.

“A fool thinks himself to be wise, but a wise man knows himself to be a fool.”  ~ William Shakespeare.


Genius and wisdom is like love and understanding, one is not true without the other, one is not the real essence without the other; that is, genius lies in the deeper understanding of something, and so, the more genius means the deeper the understanding.

The greatest genius there is then, is the deeper understanding of yourself and of the wholeness of Nature, because this comprehension which goes beyond time and space is divine wisdom, superb genius above all other.

This genius lives deep inside all of us and it can only come out to the surface of our thoughts if the ego is well understood at all times, and also if the difference between what your heart whispers and what your ego shouts at you is well understood by you.  The seed is the essence of it all, the ultimate and eternal truth of it all; therefore, genius is embracing, living, experiencing this truth in yourself beyond the intellect/the ego.

But this genius, of course, is not the mere creative genius an artist may have, for example, or the genius society praises. 

For this genius, knowing and living the ultimate truth in yourself, is the genius of Jesus, Buddha, Lao Tzu, and other great men; this genius is the superb wisdom which knows no fear, because it understands and embraces fear, thus when this happens fear turns back to love, and so all is conquered and happiness is constant.

This is the cosmic or conscious essence that we all are and that it flows through Infinite Intelligence, which has no limitations and no  source.  This genius goes beyond the thoughts and imagination one may come up with when painting a masterpiece or building a great business, this genius is a deeper insight into life because it flows with life, and this genius is not of the mind of man but it lives deep within man.  There are no heavenly or hellish forces to battle, for this genius all is natural, all is neutral; however, the only positive or negative, heavenly or hellish exists in the mind of man, his considered mortality, in his deceiving ego, in his lower artistic genius, as great and praised by the world as it is, confined and bound to time and space.

If the purpose of life is to discover true and constant happiness, then why not reach deep inside you and bring this genius up to the surface of your thoughts…??


Instead of reading and hearing about Jesus, Buddha, and all these dead men, why not becoming like these great men yourself…??  Wouldn’t that be much better for yourself and your life…??

Superior.

What is a distraction if not an illusion or image guided to distance you or to deviate your attention from the truth or from the reality of a situation…??  And what is more tempting and enticing to the human ego if not the distraction or image built with more violence, complexity, a more verbose explanation, and built with more fuel for your set beliefs…??

Be vigilant of your ego and its agitation in this, because if you allow it to poison you by accepting everything you read and hear and see in the media, or even from neighborhood gossip, then you are really allowing yourself to be a target for hate and all sorts of prejudice. And precisely this is distancing yourself from all love you can feel and understanding you can embrace.
When this happens, you become truly the unwise fool who resides in a lie, thus making your reason, your rationale, your whole life, a lie.

 

Self-destruction and mental stagnation or mediocrity exists because the mind does not embrace truth in the everyday behaviors; however, this lower mind might understand some truth merely as an intellectual set of rules and philosophies, but this is nothing if the truth is not embraced and experienced in your untainted heart, and then applied in your daily behaviors.
You must be open-minded and never assume you have the right way or the truth; for the fool in his inferior mind has the belief that he knows all, but the wise man really is wise because his mind is always open to deeper understanding, thus the wise man’s mind becomes superior via understanding that he lacks understanding, so his mind becomes powerful and vaster to fit more love in the form of wisdom.

 

Never trust the media, or anything you read, because other minds, or most of them, are out to create wealth, admiration, or something which is in their own agenda, thus they are not interested in the truth because they are the fools dwelling in lies. 

Only the pure heart knows and understands the truth, but the complexities of the human mind, the agitation of the ego, is only interested in rebellious contention, foolish entertainment, and that which does not concern the truth or elevate the mind to the superior level of the wise man.

And when the mind becomes superior, then the wise man becomes dangerous to society; because he loses all interest in accepting wars, in buying what he doesn’t need, in supporting the causes of the selfish and inferior minds, in rebellions, in the foolish debates of politics, in TV and radio shows which do not elevate his mind, in holidays and mass shopping, etc. etc.

Be vigilant of the mediocre minds who try to rule you.

Consuming yourself…

Once your mind gets agitated by thoughts of envy, anger, even simple attraction to another’s possessions and lifestyle, and all violence, your whole body becomes infected and overwhelmed by feelings which bury the truth and love which dwell within you, which stunts your mental elevation and expansion of all love and light; because in this process of covetousness, which sometimes seems harmless, you direct your attention to the exterior and to others, and this distances you from your true self and from the embrace of true happiness living inside you.

The human being then, merely because of his thoughts and choices, falls trap of distractions and ego-centered activities which lead him to all kinds of disguised corruptions; and so, these corruptions, which most of the time seem to happen without his realization, deviate him from his higher goals in life and from the free expression of his own human spirit, such which must always be noble and inspirational to himself and to the world.

This appears to be simple enough to embrace in your own life, but one must always remain vigilant of one’s own mind, care for oneself, and honor oneself.  If you watch your mind in silence, then, you will discover how overwhelming thoughts are and how they are always popping up and guiding you to temptation; however, if you do not remain vigilant and observe your own mind, then, this mind will lead you to commit serious mistakes and lose the goodness in you, thus lose yourself and become of a dark character full of envy and greed who only lives for the gain of material things.

The good life is one of inward reflection and analysis, meditation and acceptance; because once you master you inward state, then, your outward state, all the opportunities and economic, societal, and all the rest come to you as the outcome of your inward conquest.  Your worst mistake in life would be to believe that by envy and greed, and by ambition and hard work only (all outward projections to the world), you will reach everything you want out of life.  First, start from within you, then, with patience life will heed to your inner mastery; second, you will obtain what you seek in the world, it will become yours.


To be truly happy you must become a light unto yourself and unto others, you must keep your mind clear from all agitation and thoughts of envy and anger.

In the footsteps of the master.

“Knowing others is wisdom, knowing yourself is Enlightenment.”  ~ Lao Tzu.

“Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win.”  ~ Sun Tzu.

The way of peace is knowing yourself, and this way is practiced by the superior mind; because the superior mind knows and deeply understands that confidence and power can only flower when the human mind is resting in the silence of internal peace and harmony–i.e., peace from the agitated mind, and harmony with the true self. 
Furthermore, this confidence and power flowering in the peaceful mind is what can conquer all your battles in life, overcome all obstacles, attain all victories over negative circumstances and mediocre naysayers, for this mind is free from all outside nuisances and pressures, for this mind stands on its own.

The Tao (The Way to Enlightenment/The Source of Everything) in its unmatched wisdom says,  “But knowing harmony creates abstraction, and following abstraction creates ritual.  Exceeding nature creates calamity, and controlling nature creates violence.”  This says, ‘Knowing harmony, living and experiencing a wise and peaceful mind, creates the deep analysis and study of profound ideas, profound philosophies for a better life; and so, following this abstraction or greater philosophies, creates superior habits and thus ways of the superior mind.’
Then it explains, ‘Trying to force nature, and everything that happens in your life, brings chaos into your life; and controlling nature and outside events, creates an agitated mind and all violence.’

You must clear your thoughts from all agitation whenever you see obstacles and people wanting to hurt you in any way; for only with a clear and pure mind you may think straight and arrive to a solution or to an inspiring idea.  And when you need to become firm and fearless, fight people’s arguments and life challenges head on, then be also calm and confident because the energy of your own mind, of peace and harmony, will create your reality, will dictate the outcome of your experience.

The fool initiates quarrels and rebellions because he is full of fear/rage and hate, and his mind does not think clearly due to an inferior understanding/an inferior mind; however, the wise and superior mind of the sage remains peaceful and confident because nothing from the outside moves him, he is in constant meditation and harmony with his true self.

Breaking the chain.

If one truly desires to better one’s own life and elevate the mind through peace and self-love, then one must choose people carefully, or choose the time to be spent and the interaction one has with people.

There is no middle; either you are fully committed to better yourself, your thoughts, your behavior, your life, or you are lazy and ignorant enough to remain in the same place in your life all the time without any higher goals.  It is always your choice and not your surroundings.

But your choice and your passion may be influenced by the people around you, by the conversations, by the arguments; and, furthermore, specially influenced by the people you love or befriend, so you must tread carefully and not engage with toxic or negative people.

Toxic or negative people are individuals who put you down in any way, who gossip about others, who complain a lot, who always blame others, who do not fully respect your imagination and way of thinking, who are lazy themselves, who mistreat others, etc. etc.

 

It is extremely important that you do not spend your time with these people, choose wisely even if they are family; that is, do not avoid them if in fact they are family and you love them, but do not absorb what they preach, and specially do not fall into their arguments, into their traps.
Accept them as they are, do not try to change their thinking, just smile and walk away.  Be aware that self-love and your development is crucial in your life, and for all success and happiness, and that is why you must not let toxic arguments and emotions invade the holiness of your temple.

Your own mind must be pure and elevated, so only worry about that and not about others.  Analyze this wisdom and become it.

The Greatest Sage.

People are either of ordinary thinking or of a higher thinking, good, loving people even:

Ordinary thinking ones will always feel jealous of others, perhaps without realizing it, and live in fear, because they cannot understand that life changes by the mind one has, so they believe that life changes due to external conditions–economy, neighborhood, president, and so forth. 

Higher or extraordinary thinking ones will always see life with a positive outlook because that is their character, and even though they may be poor or unsuccessful in their own lives they will support and wish well for others.

One may be born in a family of ordinary thinking, in an atmosphere of emotional neglect and fear-mongering; however, your mind is what truly changes your life and not your external conditions or surroundings, so in order to follow your dreams uninterruptedly you must focus in you internal environment, and whenever you hear negative or mediocre talk in your external environment make sure your attention remains within and not without.

 

Small minds, ordinary thinking, are there to challenge you, to make you stronger; so, even though these small minds do not realize it, they are a source of strength for you, and as long as you have this in mind you will grow and your mind will achieve great things.

A great mind then will drive you forth by creating really strong and intense feelings within you that will mold your behaviors to design your better reality and access the wiser you.  The purpose of a great mind is to raise above the mediocrity and self-pity we may all feel at some point in our individual lives, and also it is to shut out all the noise and opinions of the people around you, such people who may be your loves ones or society in general.

Stop waiting for approval or for the support of others, take charge of your life and become the Master of your life; and the Master always stands out from the crowd by making his own rules, by creating his own path, by not giving in to self-pity and pressures from outside himself, and by not following or leaning on others for the design of his life.  The Master knows that the path is the Warrior’s individual design, by molding his thoughts, by not letting small minds interfere with his vision, by embracing his greater destiny the Master becomes the Greatest Sage.

Retire daily to a quiet place, analyze things, plan your moves, build your life step by step.  Your mind is the base to build your desired life, so don’t forget that.

The key here is patience and perseverance while you allow your attention to focus on your internal environment and not on your external one…

What is life if not a string of challenges to make you stronger…??  And what is the purpose of life if not to achieve bliss in all you do by not giving in to these challenges…??

Unfortunately, most people see life’s challenges and obstacles as a threat and something to fear or avoid at all cost; however, this is in fact the richness of life given unto you for no price whatsoever, life gives and gives for you to learn and become a better human being.

 

That is why one must never give in to fear and temptation, one must be watchful and alert, and so one must keep going faithfully because life responds to and respects the warrior who holds his goal and follows his dream without losing the passion, the fuel of his human spirit.

 

“The light at the end of the tunnel,” they say. But I say you create your own light in your journey, and if you create your own light then there is no darkness or challenge which can weaken you or stop you from becoming great in your personal pursuits, and there is no society which can ever deviate you or distract you from your goals.

And the golden key to create your own light is self-discipline in your daily behaviors and the process of envisioning your goals and never ever letting them go, not letting them go for your family, friends, or anybody else for that matter.

Self-discipline is the golden key then, the ability to control your feelings, your reactions to temptations, and overcome your weaknesses in the pursuit of a noble goal you think is right; and so, you do this by creating a heartfelt and intense passion which will give you the strength and endurance to resist all challenges.  You must select what you read and watch, what you think about and what you listen from others; that is, you must create your world and envision it, honor it every single day in your thoughts as the most sacred element to create out of your godly human spirit.

Make your dreams, your goals, sacred, and so sacred that nobody can touch them or get in your way to honor them.

Mind.

Mind

It has been well said of the elevation of the Sage,
Whose mind touches the stars and feet the ground,
Whose wise finger points the Vastness of no age,
That his Mind reaches the Cosmic, Universal Sound.
But what is it that makes the Mind of the Sage…??
The world keeps dying and the people is blind,
The world keeps dying, lies, wars, hate, rage.
You see, the Mind of the Sage sees beyond this bind.

First it appears randomly within the dark space,
Then it is consumed by the pettiness and greed;
The thought begets an idea wicked and base,
When the heart dies, the ego of the world seeds.
But self-reflection is what the lowest Mind needs,
For it is to dwell and know your own dark room.
But self-reflection is where the superior Mind lives,
For it is where self-love and the flower bloom.

As the deer focuses on the lights and freezes in fear,
The Mind of man cannot see beyond what is allowed.
As the emergent world turns and produces a tear,
The Mind of man cannot see beyond the ill crowd.
The Mind must seek its own individual place
Far from the beliefs and deceits of the throng,
The Mind must elevate itself to heavenly grace
Where the Light of rationale is clear and strong.

Mastering life…

Life allows us to make different paths, and that exactly shapes people, and by the choices we make under any circumstance we are forging our journey along this path; this is something unique which is the heart of our level of living and understanding.

And nobody is better than anybody due to having different experiences; we are all different, perhaps with a lower or higher thinking depth, perhaps we have taken our time to meditate on ourselves or not, but we are all here to learn from our unique and challenging experiences.

Sometimes people make the mistake of seeing a rich person, a bully, an angry person, a hateful person, etc., and think that they have it easy or that they are evil because of their words or because of the violence they commit.  But, the truth that your untainted heart knows, and that your ego may quarrel with, is that we have all gone through experiences and lifestyles that have shaped us as the human beings we presently are, and many times the choices we have made out of ignorance were not the best ones. 

But whether you understand this and tolerate it or not is a reflection of you, not of the people you judge.

This speaks of your own knowledge of self and of the control you have of your mind, such must be always a peaceful and harmonious mind in order to see through all prejudice and anger from the rebellious ego.

 

You must accept people the way they are, even if we are talking about Hitler himself; because nobody is born evil, but the choices and the experiences growing up make good or evil.  Learn to be the sage, the wise one who can see through this veil of prejudice.

And with this I am not saying that we should hug and kiss every damn idiot out there who rapes, murders, bullies, and even that talks down to you; however, I am saying that we must keep our minds peaceful and free of anger and anxiety, and I am saying that we must keep the attention on ourselves and not on judging others, because while you hate and judge others you are distancing yourself from self-love, you are letting evil into your own mind to take over, you are the one choosing wrong now, you are the one committing the sin.

Think about it and be wise in your own daily choices.

The Magical Core.

Meditation is the core or essence of life, contemplation, the absorption of wisdom, the reflection of your inner being to strengthen your outer being and the one living in the world of form and deception. ‘

During meditation you do not engage with any thoughts, you just flow in peace and harmony, one with Source, and see thoughts rise and vanish; you focus upon the breath of life, your breath in the moment.  This is life.

For the awakened one, the true sage, life is just like meditation; you keep yourself immersed in peace and harmony, mind without heated thoughts and tempests that could rattle your meditation, flowing with what is, not rejecting whatever happens but accepting it, watching your emotions and reflecting upon the content of those emotions.

 

This process of meditation in life vanishes fear, because all fear comes from an agitated and perturbed mind, an unruly and rogue mind, a mind who always wants to be in control; therefore, if the mind in question is under meditation, then there exists no agitation and perturbation, for the mind dwells in peace and harmony, one with what is, and so there is no energy agent creating fear or great confusion.

And this higher mind, which is in meditation, reflects inwardly, watches the movements of Nature inwardly; and so, there is no beliefs and distractions from the outside, because this mind knows that whatever is outside is the illusion tied to space and time, tied to moods and changes, tied to all creation of man.

And this mind knows that the eternal reality is only inside, outside there is just a window into physical experience; and it knows and understands that all evolution and elevation happens from the inside.

Remind yourself to keep watch on your own mind, maintain an inner attitude of meditation every day, and erase all fear from your thoughts and actions.
