Let’s be honest with ourselves. Addictions are bad habits. The unawareness in most of us always tells us that we are in control. But is that really true….?? Think about it. Let’s think about the daily things:
Many are addicted to sugar. Many others to alcohol. Many to negative thinking. Many more to jealousy. An addiction is a program running in your subconscious, running you daily, whether you accept it or not.
Your subconscious tells your mind and body how to behave, what to like and dislike, what to crave and obsess over. And all of it unbeknownst to you as part of your day-to-day persona.
Waking up
These programs have been adopted in our pasts (childhood mostly). And it is exactly what makes human beings automatons, robots; when we are not aware of the unhealthy programs running us.
See, it is not about the establishment, the elite, the government, religions, little “rebellious” groups on social media, etc. It is about each one of us individually. The challenge is to wake up from your own dream, from your own unhealthy habits/the illusions from your past holding you back.
Since I started my writing career, I value time much more because it has become much more precious to me. Sometimes we waste time on things that do not have a greater purpose, such are things that do not contribute anything to our goals. Procrastination comes as a byproduct of all this waste.
Spending too much time checking emails. Much more time than we have to spent on social media. Time wasted on TV, streaming shows, listening to music and podcasts, etc. Oftentimes time wasted on friends. All these program our subconscious to become easily blocked when we desire to focus on an important task.
Becoming conscious of what is important
Each day ask yourself what is more important to you. Each moment think about the goals you have, strengthen your purpose, and become aware of your choices. Training your mind like this, it reminds you to be aware in those times when you need it the most; and, most importantly, daily practice of this awareness creates self-discipline, and this makes you more practical and mature when it comes to using your time.
Loving, maturely, sincerely, like everything important in life, is a faithful practice. You must be there for someone else. Instead of doing what you want, take your time to listen. Teach your mind to be peaceful, let go of going your own way.
If you were used to taking care only of yourself, living the way you want, building your own lifestyle, then train yourself to let go and be open-minded to a different perspective. In time, through honest practice, loving will become you, your desires and actions.
Be patient
Blooming the flower of love is a process of the mind and must not be rushed. Rushing it only tricks the mind into believing it changed, but in time problems in the relationship will appear because there was never a real shift of your mindset/your subconscious never changed its programming.
90% of what we do comes from our subconscious programming. Man is a machine ruled by what lies deep in the dark corners of his subconscious. Mature people follow most beliefs and think they are true because they have been taught since childhood. Men treat women according to what they’ve learned from caretakers in childhood.
People eat following a pattern learned long ago. Etc. All this has been cemented in the subconscious of man, or woman. ‘It has been cemented’ means ‘it has been programmed’ into his mind. In his most powerful mind. In his subconscious mind.
He may recognize this programming or not. But he lives under the rule of this programming. The way he votes. The way he eats. The way he chooses relationships. The self-belief he carries, or lack thereof. It is all this in programming.
God & Devil
Man is both god and devil because the voices he obeys in his head make him either moral or immoral. He either blesses or curses himself by breathing life into these voices. But the voices he hears, which he may choose to call god (moral) or devil (immoral) are just his own making.
He creates these voices by building his own subconscious programming. If man, or woman, seeks to know himself then, he must be willing to look into himself, into the dark corners of his subconscious; and then, by means of new habits, change his programming accordingly.
Changing Your Programming
People keep busy all the time. If they’re not busy, they get bored easily and start overthinking. This doesn’t help. Try to seek the silence of your own mind, befriend it, learn to love it and don’t run away from it. Study the silence. Study deeply how you feel in this silence.
Observe and feel what you have gained from your past, what they have given to you, what you do in your life based on things from your childhood or youth.Does it make sense?? How is it helping you now?? Is it time to change your habits, including the way you think and feel??
I do this all the time. As a result, I have changed the way I eat and drink, the way I feel about myself, what I believe, what I consider truly important in my life, the way I treat women, etc. I am simply stating the truth here, that a mature person must study himself and leave his past programming; thus creating a new programming, a new way to approach himself and life.
Whether that specifically is true or not, I really do not know. What I do know is that to think clearly we must be of sound mind. I base my life on this. I am an advocate for health. Good nutrition. Exercise. Letting go of past hurt. Anything that makes you lose clarity in your choices. Seeking the best daily habits to increase your moral standing.
We are our habits.
We have a powerful subconscious mind. That subconscious, whether we know it or not, fills itself with all the things we do and experience, with all the things we hear, with all the things we see and give attention to. From birth to death, we are guided to do and make choices by our subconscious mind and its content.
That is why I choose the best habits for myself and suggest the best habits for you. I suggest you stop yourself and look at your habits, at your life choices, at your mind and at your feelings. What is the content of all this?? Are you leading yourself to better choices, to the increase of great moral values in you, to change into better choices for yourself and your future??
Life gets clearer when your mind gets clearer.
I grew up with some anxiety. I did have many problems in school, and as a result I was continually being moved or transferred. I specially had problems when we moved to U.S from Argentina and my father passed away. But through it all I’ve learned that my mind is everything, which meant having control over my own mind and not falling prey of the situations around me.
So, look at your own mind, conscious and subconscious. Find out your weaknesses and why you think, feel and do this or that way. Seek to understand yourself to create better choices every day for yourself. Life is just a reflection of the clarity in your mind. I know is hard to understand this because we all carry our own anxiety and problems in life. And there’s no judgment from me here. There’s only the will to bring some insight and help you understand yourself, because that is how we truly see life clearly and grow as human beings.
“Why do you do things…?? Anything, any experience, any behavior you consciously or subconsciously choose to have, any activity created by this human society. Why?? Why indeed?? Your behaviors have always a purpose, whether you are conscious of it or not…
“You have been programmed since birth to attach a purpose behind every behavior you express. You pursue something all the time. What is it…?? It is the very thrill of the chase what keeps you going. You know that, right??…
“It is the very thrill of the chase what keeps you wanting to live your life, to exist physically. So what is that thrill?? Let us carefully ponder this: you wake up, go to the kitchen, choose a breakfast you like; but not necessarily because it’s healthy. Then go to work, whether you like what you do or not…
“Later you choose a place for eating lunch, have a conversation and some fun with co-workers. Keep on working. You smile at the boss and tell him something nice, even though he is repulsive to you. So perhaps you curse the hell out of your boss in your head, just to release that frustration…
“Then you go on a date and act charmingly to be liked, have good fun. Or maybe just stay home, make your plans for the next day, work on your short-term or long-term goals, think about your future, deal with family, etc etc. Why…?? Why do you do this??…”
Thanks for reading.
This has been a section of Chapter 1 from my nonfiction, self-help book, “I ALWAYS LOVED YOU. – Creatures of Eternal Love.”
This is a highly spiritual and psychological approach to the very depths of our minds. It’s about freedom from our habitual patterns to increase self-esteem and reach the greatest confidence and value in us. Most people let themselves believe less of themselves, they fall into frustration and jealousy easily, they even end up hating themselves and their lives.
This leads to addictions, which is a subconscious pattern of the mind that affects the addict without their knowledge, but also it affects the ones around him through his relationships. But this is not a book about addiction per se, but a book about you and increasing your knowledge of yourself to increase the value in yourself. And it is about bringing success into your relationships.
FROM APRIL 23rd TO APRIL 27th “I ALWAYS LOVED YOU” IS FREE TO DOWNLOAD ON AMAZON.

“The subconscious can play us against progress, and it can block us from becoming better. Low self-esteem is something which affects all our interactions in life, and it’s a defect running in our subconscious…
“So, you may feel somewhat afraid to say the wrong thing, or intimidated around certain people, or unable to express yourself in the proper way. This might be low self-esteem. Have you wondered why that is…?? The origin of it. Explore it right now. See what’s causing it. Inquire into the content of your mind…
“You may carry good intentions, be the most caring person, even have great and profound feelings towards others; however, if you occupy your time with the wrong influence, then this could be the origin of your low-self-esteem or lack of confidence at some level. What do you do during your day…?? Is important that you are honest with yourself…
“Do you strengthen your mind properly?? Are you truly aware of what you watch?? I am not asking you if you enjoy it. I am not asking you if you feel you must watch it. I am not asking you if people you admire watch it. I am indeed asking you if what you watch is strengthening your mind and increasing your positive vibrations…” ~ I ALSWAYS LOVED YOU. The way you react in your life is the way of your subconscious emotional programming. When you get upset about someone’s words, it is because your mind’s beliefs, ideas, or opinions have been rattled or threatened; thus, your subconscious programming makes you react even without consciously thinking about it.
But when you train your conscious mind to respond in a different way, unattached to beliefs, ideas and opinions to the words and behaviors of others, then you are creating your own subconscious programs.
This gives you intelligence, it boosts your inner harmony and knowledge of self; for you become more confident, liberated from egoistical reactions, thus penetrate into a deeper understanding of yourself, of others, and of the ways of life.
Intelligence is not your memory and the accumulation of knowledge there, but indeed this is what the naive and ignorant world believes–and so, just look at it and you’ll see that there are no really intelligent people out there, just people holding school degrees and people old in time.
Intelligence is in the way you react and respond to the world, to your stress, to your negativity, to your anger and frustration. Intelligence is to create your own emotional understanding and to see beyond the petty acts of your ego.
“Whatever we plant in our subconscious mind and nourish with repetition and emotion will one day become a reality.” ~ Earl Nightingale; American radio speaker and motivational author.
“Our thoughts are mainly controlled by our subconscious, which is largely formed before the age of 6, and you cannot change the subconscious mind by just thinking about it. That’s why the power of positive thinking will not work for most people. The subconscious mind is like a tape player. Until you change the tape, it will not change.” ~ Bruce Lipton; American developmental biologist, public speaker, and author.
The subconscious mind is the one making it all possible, the one godly mind which is eternal and flows all love eternally–it works through all the plants and the earth, the humans, the wind, and all the animals, as the mind which keeps their existence and which makes them connect to each other and to the world.
Infinite Intelligence. The mind which allows all nature’s existence and which makes all connect to all.
It even flows in considered “dead” matter–like rocks, cement, chairs, etc. etc.–because, reality is, without a subconscious mind, Infinite Intelligence itself, the world as you know it and experience it wouldn’t exist.
In your own body, the subconscious is an amazing ally or a terrible foe; however, it is always your choice once you know how it works. Think of the subconscious mind as the storage room of everything that is currently not in your conscious mind.
The subconscious mind stores all your previous life experiences, your beliefs, your memories, you skills, all situations you’ve been through and all images you’ve ever seen.
One short example of its power:If you have ever seen or heard of what some call a miracle healing of some illness or disease, it is attained through first of all, a belief or faith stored in the subconscious of the healed, that the healing could occur–which has been stored in the subconscious mind by way of the sensory input and interpretation of the dominant conscious mind. Secondly, a transmission of emotional energy (or vibration) projected outward which attracts to it energy or vibrations of the same vibrational intensity or frequency from the universe, which allows the physical manifestation process to take place and enables the healing to occur.
It is interesting and wise to understand how this great mind works in you, how it keeps your heart beating and your lungs functioning; because once you are acquainted with this powerful mind, you feel a deeper connection with the world around you, and, due to your subconscious holding your real persona, you find out how to change yourself for the better and thus make your whole life richer.
