When someone feels lonely is really because that person feels empty, even without knowing it, which means an intimate, individual purpose is lacking. See, loneliness does not come from an empty home, or from no people around, or from no special someone in your life.
Individual purpose
Loneliness comes because there is no real intimacy with yourself, which means your inner communication, kind and inspirational self-talk is not there. Try occupying your time to fix this, creating a personal purpose that does not involve others, designing daily behaviors that bring you more health of body and mind.
One of the best things to discover in life is the fact that you can heal yourself. To realize that you can continue, that you can have a purpose, that you can value yourself much more, especially after loss and heartbreak. This is the greatest miracle, to find this truth in yourself. But how do you do it, or how do you find this truth in you when all you feel is pain..??
Letting go
Well, you find it by making your mind less noisy, less jugmental, less anxious, less focused on the world and the drama. I am talking about letting go of the ego which is always seeking self-pity, and always reminding you of your past hurt, and always giving you fears to start a new, exciting chapter in your life–fears of repeating the past.
A new, better mindset
See, your mindset will create your life moving forward. So, if your mind is filled by this ego, which always brings up the hurtful past and keeps you in fear, then you will only envision more hurt and disappointment for your future. But if your mind can practice, with each thought you have, self-awareness and thus let go of this weak mind state, then your very mindset will change and become stronger in time.
Who would think that a trip to taste the world’s spiciest ice cream could possibly take a left turn? Well, maybe you did see that one coming. But how about a left turn into a Solarpunk odyssey that melds East and West?
Amos’ ill-fated attempt to eat the world’s spiciest ice cream lands him on a trip to visit his grandparents in rural Chongqing. After discovering some interesting artifacts from his father’s childhood, Amos encounters a nine-tailed fox bent on havoc. The only way to save his grandfather and his own soul is to follow the creature into dreamland. And meet even more danger along the way.
Kai takes elements of Eastern mythology and successfully pairs them with Solarpunk to create a distinctive adventure. The quirky Amos alongside some memorable characters is both endearing and riveting.
It’s important to add that the beautiful maps and illustrations only add to the…

“SHADOW GHOULS OF NERGUS.”
(#4 in the epic series BENJAMIN JONES)
“It was dry, bone dry. It was a desert, wretched and deprived of any life. It looked as if this world had poisoned himself, as the earth was cracked and pale, as the skies were grieved and colorless. There was light from the moons and the suns, weak and omnipresent; but there was no warmth, and there was no cold either. But they found a few remains, skulls, scattered frames of, perhaps, creatures who had lived long ago.”…

For most people after 30 years old it gets harder to lose weight. Our capacity to more quickly digest foods, eliminate fats and sugars, really dwindles. This happens to most of us, depending on your genetics; however, our body changes from the efficiency it had when we were younger.
Intermittent fasting
It’s what I do. I do not have breakfast. From last night’s meal at 6 pm to the next day at 11 am I fast. That is called ‘Intemittent Fasting.’ This gives my stomach time to clean itself and to also burn more fat. And that is the secret: Allowing your digestive system to work at its own pace. Remember, after 30 years old, your metabolism slows down and everything changes.
I find that it’s very difficult to judge, choose, see the truth of something if we are bias. If we hold on to our beliefs, to our opinions, to the way we see things, then our minds become stubborn and blinded to reality. Take for example, a religious person.
A person blinded by certain scriptures and by what has been taught in their tradition may believe that Jesus is the savior and the only way. And that person grows attached to this blind belief. And the same could happen with another religion and their beliefs.
This blinds their minds from what is: Themselves. They are the saviors of their own lives, as their attitudes and personal habits. What saves them is their own personal habits of healh and wisdom.
Examine everything
Of course, the same goes for all politics and all sorts of personal philosophies, cultures, traditions. Don’t let your childhood, or what they have taught you, or what you have experienced in the past, make your mind rigid and unable to entertain and respect other people’s views.
But better be open-minded and expand your awareness. To do this, you have to examine and dissect all thoughts you have. Study all beliefs and ways of seeing things. Ask yourself questions: Why do I believe this or that?? What proof more than my feelings do I have??
Does it really make sense?? It’s my opinion or belief separating me from other people?? Is my opinion or belief only good for one group while excluding another?? Never stop asking yourself questions. This is how you know yourself and grow in wisdom.

I write stories within stories…
ALDORF’S STORY
Meet Havendorf…
“It was a beautiful village called Havendorf, a loving community of artisans, creatives, and businesspeople of all types; and, better yet, a truly magical place where children could grow up without the influence of war and any other violence at all. The inhabitants weren’t enlightened gods or special in the order of divinity though, not at all; and yet, absolutely so, they were extremely mature and healthy—mentally and emotionally…
The dwarves…
“They were friendly little creatures, dwarves as they might be called. From about 2 to 5 feet in stature. They did not have religion per se, but they did have stories of real, outstanding members in their society; and these were stories which brought inspiration and paved the way to become a better dwarf…
“These mentioned stories became their scriptures, and each one of them read them at home, taught them in their schools and to their children, and used them as moral standards to follow. And so, in their society, they had elders, of course. These were wise leaders who guided and blessed the community, the family, and the individual, more like spiritual godfathers and godmothers, in a manner of speaking…
Baby Aldorf…
“And baby Aldorf was born under the special blessing of an elder. Aldorf’s mother and father were very happy about the blessing, because they loved him very much and wanted the best for their son. But they were also a little sad, fearing the future of Aldorf, even though the blessing said that he was to become a wise and beloved leader; for baby Aldorf had been born half blind and with a condition that affected his spinal column…
“Doctors said that by the teen years he’d be completely blind and have a serious deformation in his spine. Many doctors from other villages even studied the case further, but it already seemed like his fate was set and unchangeable. Years and years passed. Life became struggle for the little dwarf, even with all the love and support surrounding him; because he battled strong physical pain due to his crooked spine and severe ocular condition…
Burden & hope…
“And it happened that by now Aldorf was 12 years of age, very creative, extremely intelligent, and a great kid overall. His parents were very proud and happy with their boy, but they suffered terribly inside, in secret; because each day they had to see Aldorf struggle so much, and they also knew that it would only get worse…
“Yes, this was really hard on them, because their love wasn’t enough to heal him; and they would only blame themselves for his terrible suffering, as the most caring parents do. But it also occurred that Aldorf was learning from this pain, from these terrible burdens given unto him to carry; for he was very insightful, very mature for his age, and his faith could move mountains. Of course, he also carried much anger in him; and sometimes he didn’t know how to express this great frustration…
The traveler…
“And so, close to his 13th birthday, someone came from somewhere truly unknown. The outsider wasn’t a dwarf, or a tall sengei creature, and not even an orc or ogre from the far lands in the East. This traveler was of unusual appearance, his very presence brought a harmony and power of being into those in near contact with him; and the inhabitants of Havendorf had never seen and experienced someone like this before…
“And this was because what they were experiencing in their minds and hearts was what could be referred to as pure magic, which was something totally unknown to them at the time. So, as Aldorf had met him on his way to buy food, he engaged in pleasant conversation with him; and from then on they became good friends. The outsider came to live with the family, and he became loved by the parents as well…
Miracles…
“He told them he had visited many villages seeking someone in particular, and that he had now found him in Aldorf. He was very tall and slender. His hair was long, and his skin always clean and nourished. He wore a long cloak and simple clothes underneath. He looked like a human being, but he was not one…
“He never revealed his true name, but he told them to choose one and call him that. So, ‘Lucian’ was born right then and there, which means ‘Bright light.’ And he did many things for them. Many good deeds that had no explanation for them, so they called these deeds ‘miracles’; for these were incredible and defied their logic and…”

But the problem in relationships can be too much thinking. Thinking why she has changed like this. Thinking about what to do to avoid being hurt. Thinking about how to be better. How to do this and do that.
Even starting to see how others behave in their relationships in comparison to mine. Because the sole thinking and thinking brings the burden and makes loving the other person an obstacle. When relationships become this intellectual and egotistical, the purity of love vanishes.
Exploring one another
Say, for example, judging or analyzing everything the other person does. Just because we are in a relationship doesn’t mean we have to be exactly the same and have the same likes and dislikes. So, there has to be respect and that open-mindedness to explore and learn from each other.
The desire and passion for one another lies in this process of exploration. The exploration takes you to understand new things, to expand your awareness, to rid your mind from the frustration of judging him/her. So you become free. And this freedom brings you peace of mind.
And this peace of mind is what true love is. So, you see, if your mind is burdened by anything in the relationship, then you bury true love beneath all this loud and irritating ego. And that’s when the big problems and the dumb excuses begin. It’s then wiser to avoid these.
Throughout the years I have learned much about what true art is, and what it really means to create it. First, I’d like to say that art is a renaissance of your emotional journey. It must mean something to you, it isn’t just a business and another transaction. It must reflect the way you think and feel, which is why true art is for the brave among us.
And then I’d like to add that to create art you must stop copying and trying to emulate others. It is a form of expression unique to you. Through your book, or through your dance, or through your craft you must find freedom. If you live frustrated for the commercial aspect of your art, then is because you haven’t found true freedom yet and your art probably needs uniqueness.
How do you find uniqueness..??
What is it about you that is different from how others think and feel?? What is the real reason for you taking days, weeks, months, years working on your art and then wanting to share that art with others?? What is it that you think you can bring to the world with your expression?? What have you learned from past experiences, especially from the painful ones, as great art is born from the pain we have suffered and the lessons in it??
Your uniqueness is only found in you, by you. But you have to take the time to actually explore yourself and ask yourself the difficult and profound questions. The true artist and his art is born from this self-exploration. It is the greatest form of intimacy with yourself, and it will frustrate you and anger you at first; however, in time, through honesty and patience with yourself, you will become stronger and more creative for it. The superior artist.
