ALDORF’S STORY

Meet Havendorf…

“It was a beautiful village called Havendorf, a loving community of artisans, creatives, and businesspeople of all types; and, better yet, a truly magical place where children could grow up without the influence of war and any other violence at all. The inhabitants weren’t enlightened gods or special in the order of divinity though, not at all; and yet, absolutely so, they were extremely mature and healthy—mentally and emotionally…

The dwarves…

“They were friendly little creatures, dwarves as they might be called. From about 2 to 5 feet in stature. They did not have religion per se, but they did have stories of real, outstanding members in their society; and these were stories which brought inspiration and paved the way to become a better dwarf…

“These mentioned stories became their scriptures, and each one of them read them at home, taught them in their schools and to their children, and used them as moral standards to follow. And so, in their society, they had elders, of course. These were wise leaders who guided and blessed the community, the family, and the individual, more like spiritual godfathers and godmothers, in a manner of speaking…

Baby Aldorf…

“And baby Aldorf was born under the special blessing of an elder. Aldorf’s mother and father were very happy about the blessing, because they loved him very much and wanted the best for their son. But they were also a little sad, fearing the future of Aldorf, even though the blessing said that he was to become a wise and beloved leader; for baby Aldorf had been born half blind and with a condition that affected his spinal column…

“Doctors said that by the teen years he’d be completely blind and have a serious deformation in his spine. Many doctors from other villages even studied the case further, but it already seemed like his fate was set and unchangeable. Years and years passed. Life became struggle for the little dwarf, even with all the love and support surrounding him; because he battled strong physical pain due to his crooked spine and severe ocular condition…

Burden & hope…

“And it happened that by now Aldorf was 12 years of age, very creative, extremely intelligent, and a great kid overall. His parents were very proud and happy with their boy, but they suffered terribly inside, in secret; because each day they had to see Aldorf struggle so much, and they also knew that it would only get worse…

“Yes, this was really hard on them, because their love wasn’t enough to heal him; and they would only blame themselves for his terrible suffering, as the most caring parents do. But it also occurred that Aldorf was learning from this pain, from these terrible burdens given unto him to carry; for he was very insightful, very mature for his age, and his faith could move mountains. Of course, he also carried much anger in him; and sometimes he didn’t know how to express this great frustration…

The traveler…

“And so, close to his 13th birthday, someone came from somewhere truly unknown. The outsider wasn’t a dwarf, or a tall sengei creature, and not even an orc or ogre from the far lands in the East. This traveler was of unusual appearance, his very presence brought a harmony and power of being into those in near contact with him; and the inhabitants of Havendorf had never seen and experienced someone like this before…

“And this was because what they were experiencing in their minds and hearts was what could be referred to as pure magic, which was something totally unknown to them at the time. So, as Aldorf had met him on his way to buy food, he engaged in pleasant conversation with him; and from then on they became good friends. The outsider came to live with the family, and he became loved by the parents as well…

Miracles…

“He told them he had visited many villages seeking someone in particular, and that he had now found him in Aldorf. He was very tall and slender. His hair was long, and his skin always clean and nourished. He wore a long cloak and simple clothes underneath. He looked like a human being, but he was not one…

“He never revealed his true name, but he told them to choose one and call him that. So, ‘Lucian’ was born right then and there, which means ‘Bright light.’ And he did many things for them. Many good deeds that had no explanation for them, so they called these deeds ‘miracles’; for these were incredible and defied their logic and…”

The Book of 1st Witchcraft

This is a section from #3 in the epic series. An excerpt from “The Book of 1st Witchcraft.” Dark fantasy. Coming of age fantasy. Spiritual stories. Magic adventures. Paranormal stories. Ancient aliens and mythical creatures.

Critical moment of transformation

This is the moment Ben and his subconscious demons, his 7 sins, see each other face to face. Here Ben’s subconscious materializes as the book takes control of him…

Into the story – short excerpt

..”But also because Ben’s demons, monsters, sins, layers of existence, were there. And they were watching it all happen, as they seemed now unmoved by the event. Vegetation was being demolished.

Rocks, pebbles and all debris were flying around joined to the violent spiral. The corkscrew motion expanded and became more intense as the air turned electrified and filled with energy beams from the book.

And not even the time-traveling witch with her magic wand could bring him down and stop the funnel of air from reaching above the crowns of trees. As soon as she took out her wand from inside her cloak, then this one was repelled by the energy of The Verum Codex that filled the air.

The magic in the air

Elradon’s staff also struggled to resist the magic in the air, as this one was also rejected by the chaotic nature of the ancient tome. The red-headed girl tried to talk him down, because she witnessed that magic was not working here.

Red saw that Ben was lost, even inside that column of electrified air; but she wouldn’t give up on him, not at all, because she knew how much he was changing and how confused about it he really was.

And so, it happened that Ben peered down through the shafts of energy and the violent air and met her eyes; but he did not speak, not one word. “Ben!” she called over the loud wind currents. “I know you can hear me! I need you to be with me now!”

Benjamin Jones just stared at her, his eyes glowing red, his facial expression cold and austere. And no one really knew what he was thinking.

The demons of Ben

Inside the air funnel, his body was flashed with energy branches; but there was no pain or sorrow, only transformation. His demons looked down at her as well, then got near her, and attracted by the speech they were now studying her carefully.

She took a few steps back and eyed the dark creatures with certain apprehension, then continued to talk to him, “I imagine you’re turning into something more! I-I dunno what that is, but I’m really afraid for you; because I care, and because I want you to be safe!”

Elradon, who had been observing Ben and Ben’s demons closely, held on tight to his staff and pressed forward now, then he stopped by Red and spoke, “Ben! I’m not upset! I understand now!”

Then he took his time and regarded each sin or demon hovering around and above them. He remained calmed and confident, then continued, “These! These are you, aren’t they?! You have struggled too much, my boy! You must control yourself, because we must keep on the journey!”

Trying to bring him down

Then Red, seeing that Ben showed no signs of coming back down or even responding, took a few steps forth carefully, and struggling with the strong wind currents she finally said, “Please, whatever is going on, you must come down! We need you! Don’t let the book control you! You are good! Remember that!”

And then the time-traveling witch, who had stayed behind long enough, was now watching all the near area of the forest; and so, she became sad as her eyes fell on the destruction the strong wind currents and branching beams of energy had caused. Nature was sacred for her.

Nature was the origin of life for her. She loved Mother Nature, and this certainly weighed heavily upon her heart. And Arleas, the green cat to her side, sensed her resolve immediately and started to hiss in discontent.

But the witch ignored the trapped targoblin and proceeded forth. She wasn’t happy with Ben, and so she began to whisper under her breath and into the wind. Her hands thrust forward, feeling the charged air, measuring the black magic mixed with the white one.”…

The Call of The Shaman. Preorder special.

Today feels like any other day, except they reminded me is October 31st, my 40th birthday. I truly never celebrate my birthday as something special. Maybe a nice meal with family. Always receive a call or two from loved ones. And then there’s the pouring of ‘Happy Birthdays’ from Facebook friends and followers to my notifications and to my private inbox. Really feel the love, but for me it is just another day. I am not into all these, except holidays like Christmas, Easter, and maybe Thanksgiving with family. When you are content and grateful every day like me, you don’t really feel a necessity to celebrate society’s inventions. I only love the ones I get to enjoy having a nice moment with family.

I am not into parties or celebrating with a bunch of people, as I mentioned. I don’t drink alcohol. I really watch what I eat, which means I wouldn’t treat my body like most do in a celebration. But one thing is special about this day. Definitely! Today I’ve launched my preorder special. Preorder on my young adult novel titled “BENJAMIN JONES. The Call of The Shaman.” Now, you have to understand that this is not considered just a job, or something I do. Writing is my passion! Creating is what I am all about! I have practiced, literally, every day in front of a computer for 20 years. I have given up many things to sit down and perfect my craft daily without excuse.

Einstein has said that to reach the genius level in any craft or art, you must at least practice every day for 10 years. Well, I have 20 years working on my writing. I am proud of it, and I am not shy about it. So, please click below, and go find out what it is all about. This story fuses ancient aliens, ancient wisdom, and lots of action and adventure taking place somewhere in U.S in the 1890s.

BENJAMIN JONES. More fiction characters.

So, in a past post or blog I shared a chapter called “Chat with a Necromancer,” which is a crucial one in my upcoming young adult, fantasy and mystery novel “BENJAMIN JONES – The Call of The Shaman.” And I also wrote a blog about the three main characters in the same series, titled “BENJAMIN JONES. Fiction characters.

Well, this blog post is about the rest of the characters of this magical story. Three more characters which are also very important and bring a touch of laughter, innocence, magic, cruelty, craziness and mystery to the story. This is a story which is emotional as it is mystical, because the aim here is not just to entertain but to expand the mind and learn about life and the journey we all have to take. This story is unique, but if I have to name the novels which inspired me to write it I would say: 1- Harry Potter. 2- The Alchemist. 3- The Chronicles of Narnia.

Shadow: Ben enters a magic swamp, and his own shadow comes to life because of it. Shadow has been trapped as an immobile and dull shadow for too long (12 years), so now he has become animate. He talks fast, manic, and he is very loyal to Ben. Also he can be a little irritating. But he brings a little magic and laughter wherever he goes. He will be a great ally and companion, full of secrets and magic, in Ben’s quest.

Gemlik: Ben meets Gemlik as he begins to discover his own magic and his curse. Gemlik is a ghoul, but he is different than the other ghouls. That is because Gemlik is a cursed god. He was one of the gods who came down from the heavens in mankind’s beginnings. And so, Gemlik has many powers and contacts in the necro world. He also desires to communicate with his family, who have gone to Heaven. Gemlik joins Ben’s quest as his friend. He is a naughty, yet loyal and comical ghoul.

Lord Furvusmortem: This is Ben’s nemesis. The Voldemort to Harry Potter. Lord Furvusmortem is ‘The Necromancer of The Four Winds.’ He was also there at the beginning of humanity. He was a learned of The Dark Magic Arts. He was cursed by his own hand. And now he has become a powerful necromancer who seeks to destroy Ben (Wolf boy). Why does he want to destroy him..?? You will have to find out for yourself when the novel comes out (very, very soon!). Just know that Lord Furvusmortem is an enigma, shrouded in mystery, and that he has unimaginable powers since he is The Lord of The Necro Dimension.

To conclude, this young adult, fantasy, mystery novel is full of adventure and profound questions. It will keep you wondering and following the action of the same. But, since I am also a nonfiction, spiritual, self-help author I have also written this story to inspire and bring some real insight in your own life; because my goal is to bring some light into your own struggle. I think all literature must leave a great message and guide you into some self-discovery of your own.

BENJAMIN JONES. Fiction characters.

So, in a past post or blog I shared a chapter called “Chat with a Necromancer,” which is a crucial one in my upcoming young adult, fantasy and mystery novel “BENJAMIN JONES – The Call of The Shaman.” And I thought that I would write a little bit about the main characters now, because this story is deep and it starts with the beginning of humanity, and also because I will be making this a series. This story has much to tell.

In my story, we start with 4 main characters. ‘Benjamin Jones’ (a 12-year-old orphan), ‘Jake Sullivan’ (an 11-year-old orphan), ‘Adit Acharya’ (spiritual guide and friend), and ‘Lord Furvusmortem’ (necromancer and main villain shrouded in mystery). These characters add background, action, laughter, emotional touch, adventure, cruelty and mystery to the story. But as the story develops, we also come across very important, new characters. Purely magical characters. We have now ‘Gemlik The ghoul’ (ancient god cursed to be a ghoul for eternity) and ‘Shadow’ (this is Ben’s shadow now alive due to magic).

I will write about the first three main characters in this posting. On a later posting, I will write about the last three.

Benjamin Jones: Ben is the most important character, and he is a Pawnee (native). He is the son of a powerful shaman. His mother died of a terrible illness. His father was taken by the Sioux (native enemies). Ben has been shunned by his people, because they believe he is cursed. So, now Ben lives in an orphanage. But he is also very special, but does not know it. He sees visions of his father. He is trying to discover his magic and his shamanic roots, and for this he will have to return ‘The Sphere of Truth and Wisdom’ taken by ‘The Necromancer of The Four Winds.’ But Ben might also be the reincarnation of a demigod who lived in the beginnings of humanity as we know it, at a time when the gods came from the skies. This demi-god was known as ‘Wolf boy’ or ‘Burned Belly.’

Jake Sullivan: Jake is Ben’s best friend in the orphanage. Also he is very intelligent and positive, and so he brings laughter to the story. His father died of cholera, and Jake had suffered much because of it.  His depressed mother had fallen into serious drinking, and that is why Jake has been placed in an orphanage until she can get better.  Jake and Ben share a profound bond and their friendship only grows and gets stronger as the story unfolds. Ben also might be destined to become a great magician beside his good friend.

Adit Acharya: Adit is Ben’s spiritual guru or guide, and he is also a good friend and an author of spiritual books. Adit knew Ben’s father, they were good friends. Adit lost his mother to a terrible illness, and his father left him as a baby on the doorsteps of a wealthy family. He grew up seeking himself, and he thus became a great healer and more. He will be a great character, crucial in the story due to his wisdom, spiritual guidance, and also healing and magical abilities.

This fiction story is not just about fantasy and entertainment, but it is also about finding yourself and learning about yourself. Throughout it, you can appreciate the wisdom and deep insights shared. With this work, I aim to entertain but also help the reader become aware of his own situation in life. I seek to bring some inspiration and guidance. I have 20 years experience in professional writing and pride myself on my talents for delivering my messages through the printed word. This is a story sure to get your full attention and make you think, as well as become immersed in the magic world of BENJAMIN JONES.

BENJAMIN JONES. The Call of The Shaman.

This post is about my upcoming young adult/mystery/fantasy novel. I am currently writing the last few chapters. This will be a story like no other. My first fiction novel. You’ll have entertainment, adventure, and you’ll learn as the protagonist discovers himself throughout his journey. Ben is an orphan, and he doesn’t think he can go on this quest and defeat dark forces; but he learns about the strong human spirit, and he does this with good friends by his side.

A LITTLE COMMENT ON THE STORY:

Since his parents’ believed death, he has become an orphan, shunned by his own people (American indigenous people, The Pawnee”), and sent to an orphanage run strictly under the watchful eye of Miss Danksmill.

Ben has visions and dreams in which his father appears to him. His father then, he will give him purpose, motivation to believe in himself. Ben will have to recover a sacred, shamanic object which possesses the greatest wisdom of all shamans past, and which also opens a portal or bridge into the spiritual dimension.

This quest will not be journeyed alone, because he will count with the support of friends, very unique friends. Among these friends, a naughty but decent, ancient god and now ghoul, and also his shadow. Literally his shadow!

This story is unique. But if I had to name the books that inspired me to write it, or even compare it, then, I would mention “Harry Potter” – “The Alchemist” “The Chronicles of Narnia.” My book brings an essence from these 3. But I also add a little spiritual vision or wisdom into it by a character named Adit. Adit will be Ben’s spiritual guru and friend, and his main support to find himself and his magic.

So, follow me to find out when it’s released. Join the adventure!
