To the top!

What is the composition of life–in its spiritual, mental, and physical aspects…??  Life is learning to find a balance in these three aspects, isn’t it…??  And if you do not find this balance, or embrace one more than the other, what happens…??  Have you really thought about this…??
Success, love, happiness, freedom to be yourself–these are all one and the same, because being successful means to love what you do, and loving what you do means being happy, and being happy means you taste freedom to be truly yourself.  But by “love what you do” I do not mean the popular significance society preaches in magazines and on TV ads–i.e., make money and be popular, study and seek something which is famous in the industry or in the marketplace, be like them or follow in their footsteps.  By “love what you do” I mean discover yourself as a person (no matter age or origin), if you make a mistake welcome that mistake and keep on going, pay attention to anything that you do, and be brave enough to love and explore every little detail of yourself and of life in all aspects–spiritual, mental, physical, financial.  This is balance, isn’t it…??  When you do all this you are truly successful, right…??
new2.jpg

But in order to feel successful and experience all these wonderful things in you–love, happiness, freedom, etc.–you must discipline your mind, you must order your mind and clean it.  If your room has clothing all over the floor, and dirt, and food stains, and whatnot, it would be very difficult to feel yourself clean, sleep in there, and find what you really need in the mess; so, what you do is be disciplined, you clean it and order all the items thrown.  Life is exactly the same:  You are successful by ruling your mind, by disciplining your mind; for that is its real purpose, your mind is just a tool for you to find all these wonderful things I have mentioned in the beginning.  By allowing yourself to realize this, your mind becomes more open to be at your service; and you get to use it and manage it to your advantage, to be your true self and experience all success.

While you do this and work on yourself, your example guides others who do not rule their minds but who let their minds rule them…  This is how you illumine your path, as well as someone else’s…

Do not seek to see…

True success is the combination of love and happiness, because whatever you seek to attain must be sought with love in your heart and in your mind, such love in your heart and mind means happiness; for to be filled with love is to see beauty and delight in life, in the good and the bad times, and to see beauty and delight is to be truly happy.
And specially when it comes to financial or other material success, people deceive themselves in seeking first outwardly, then inwardly (if that ever happens, of course); therefore, they ignorantly allow their attention to fall upon their situations and the money they make with each paycheck…  But have you analyzed, really observed, how any success is truly born…??

22aa97806f15c5c0bc69d9b8fc17f9d4
I am not talking about people being born rich and successful, because that is another matter which does not concern me or interest me at all.  But I am talking about the more “normal” people like you and I, who are not born in golden crib but born in struggle and financial fluctuation; and our success then, it is not something we should seek to see, because most of the time success is not seen.  Like I said before, success is the combination of love and happiness, which must be born in you with honesty and heart.  And can you actually see love and happiness…??

No. You must cultivate that first within you like a seed, then, if you are patient and focused on your duty, you will create outwardly, you will harvest from that seed.  Your inner world creates your outer world.  So, do not be discouraged if you do not see success around you, for you must be patient.  Don’t ask how patient!  But be patient and do not quit… ever!

It all comes to you at the right time.

“And success … seems to be connected with action.  Successful men keep moving.  They make mistakes, but they don’t quit.”  ~ Conrad Hilton; American hotel tycoon and the founder of the Hilton Hotels chain.

Beware of The Master!

How aware are you of the truth you know, or of the source of knowledge you have, or of the life you lead…??  Are you really independent, free, and individual in the way you think and act…??  Are you your own Master…??

The human mind seeks answers, solutions, revelations, greater experiences from outside itself; therefore, it enjoys clinging and attachment to whatever it is comfortable to its ego.  Are you aware of this yourself…??  This is why most people falls trap of becoming followers, slaves to religions, to certain men (spiritual or not), to traditions, to collective beliefs, to institutions, and to all the rest of the philosophies and techniques which encase the mind into a blinding pattern.

051a33b61d6a6d588653d4daeef86293e8069d
Do you realize that if you lean and find a false sense of security in something outside of yourself, then your mind becomes attached to it and you lose higher meditation, reality, conscience, and you begin seeing life through that which you follow so closely…??  And you start losing yourself in this method, in this Master, in this philosophy, in this man or god; thus, you distance yourself from self-love because now you live your life not as an individual who is free and conscious, but you live as someone who depends on someone else for love, happiness, for awakening, and for truth.

But truth can only be found in yourself as an individual experience; so, you cannot read about it, or hear it from someone else, or experience it through someone else’s story, but your mind must be absolutely free so you can inquire within yourself and discover it for yourself, without expecting, without blind faith, without clinging, without any attachment, and without any fear whatsoever.

Be aware of this at all times…

Are you intelligent in your own life…??

Do you know why most people tend to make bad choices over and over again throughout their lives…??  People all over the world, even with higher education and vast experience, live in ignorance and create wars and all sorts of ignorant evil or mischief, so one wonders… aren’t these people with all their education and vast life experience supposed to be intelligent and create beauty instead of mayhem…?? …

So, what is really intelligence…??

28783396_432408427192525_5081735756221775872_n
All most of these people do is search for more success in the world, more recognition, more knowledge from books, more experiences, but all this goes to their intellect, which is the ego; so, all this is the accumulation of knowledge, superficial data which is gained by effort and struggle, as the mind is always trying to fix, always trying to achieve more and increase in superficial, mechanical awareness–an ambition which is capable of consuming the individual in pride of becoming better, more knowledgeable, more successful, more rich, more spiritual, etc..

All this never-ending struggle for becoming is a denial of what one really is, because one is never satisfied with that which one is, because one finds identity and worth, the ego finds identity and worth, in accomplishing and struggling to be.  This false identity and worth is tied then to our ego, to our daily thoughts of joy and suffering, to all feelings which like a roller coaster take us up and down in mood swings and through the neurosis of one’s state of mind.  This distances us from our real value and we start paying attention to people’s opinions of ourselves and to the very alluring but very ignorant society–i.e., what you should be, how is your life to be improved, what to eat, what to wear, what career to follow, etc.  Thus life becomes based on fear of not being better than somebody else and all fear of not becoming what they say we should become.  No real love grows within us…

As-I-began-to-Love-Myself-790x790
But is there a superior way to internalize and accept that which one is without the struggle and obsession to become better…??

Meditation, observing, peering into oneself, is realizing that there is no struggle in being, that we do not need to seek for experiences and obsess over becoming this or that in order to accept life and flow with it.  Observing the tides or ocean waves going in and out is relaxing and powerful, and so there is much learning of wisdom in it; and so, one does not have to think and struggle to understand the movement of the waves, but in simply observing our consciousness grows because now there is no distance between you and the moving water, there is no word, there is no judgement, there is simply a superior understanding which is real intelligence where the ego is dissolved.
so-you-think-you-can-trance-the-benefits-of-meditation-2-638

The same observing is required in all aspects of life to understand, to absorb wisdom and grow, to observe is to be intelligent without the struggle and desire to be intelligent.  Without comparing yourself to the world, without following, without all this behavior out of fear of not becoming this, you become really intelligent, you are what you are now; ergo, you follow your untainted heart without the ego demanding of you, you just flow and do not struggle to please others and fill the expectation others have of you.

“Joy in looking and comprehending is nature’s most beautiful gift.” ~ Albert Einstein.

Ways of The Light…

What is it that moves man beyond his intellectual education and given environment into greater heights of achievement…??  What is the difference between people who do and people who do not do, or between people who fight and people who give up…??  What is the way of life, or the wholly blissful experience of this divine condition we call life…??

Begin-each-day-with-optimism
The ego possesses the common man in a way which fogs reality and gives concepts and ideas to everything which happens in life, so we can say that this mind is tense and frustrated, joyful at times but easily overwhelmed by worry and stress.

This creates fear, conscious or subconscious, which gives man a false sense of experience, mental images of gloom and doom where suffering is all they see as reality; thus, man experiences chaos and negativity, and this brings pessimism and hopelessness in powerful bouts–sometimes long periods of depression and moods which injure the mind in question.

optimism-world-suffering-overcoming
This process of pessimism and hopelessness makes the mind weak and susceptible to all kinds of illnesses–i.e., it lowers the immune system, it stresses the nervous system, it creates cancers, it makes us repellents to better opportunities in life.

That is why the way to health in all aspects, the way of life, is being positive, being optimistic; which is not being attached to a particular outcome but being brave enough to keep a positive and faithful attitude even in the middle of chaos or crisis.

This is indubitably the greatest tool in the arsenal of the strong warrior, because it takes a highly intelligent and strong man to remain positive in the midst of the storm; consequently, knowing that he can indeed survive and come out triumphant is what drives him forward with a true and powerful heart.

28377783_429417187491649_614029642990354432_n
Being optimistic is not being naive and closed to reality, but the opposite–being optimistic is having the inner strength to quiet your own ego, your nagging thoughts and feelings tugging at you and making you see the worst scenario possible.   Being optimistic is allowing yourself to actually create your own experience and not allowing your outer environment and what your eyes see to tell you how to feel and lead your life.   To create beauty and good opportunities for yourself in this life, you must be able to envision good things in your mind first; but, furthermore, you must also be able to keep seeing good things in your mind constantly, patiently, faithfully, committedly, because otherwise you are just a mechanical tool of society/of your environment.

…So, who are you–someone who creates his/her own life, or someone who follows the rabble and mechanically complies with whatever randomly happens…??  …  Think about it deeply for the answer…

“Pessimism leads to weakness, optimism to power.”  ~ William James; American psychologist, philosopher, educator, and writer.

Signs of opportunity.

Nothing truly noble and of great value in life can be achieved if there is no persistence, and persistence can never really be without patience.
bc8ba8f1023fea8ee82a82b5bd8e8a5d
When things, relationships, events, jobs, come to you easily and without much effort and analysis from your part, then be cautious and see your situation in detail because that is either not going to last or is not going to help you to truly experience happiness, perhaps it will bring you more headaches than actual joyful moments.
But if you are having tough times achieving your dreams or goals, if you are going through problems in your relationship, if you are having hard economical times, then you must understand this; for these are signs that life is giving you the opportunity to discover your weakness and exercise your strengths, and this is the moment for you to be committed and persistent, be patient and trust yourself.

be18577124845538aec6cbc4c5962352--stressed-out-stressed-quotes
It is easy and rather pointless to be persistent in happy times, because these times need no persistence, because these times are not teaching you anything.  You become stronger as life gives you opportunities to make yourself stronger through tough times.  What is more important to you?–to live and enjoy pleasures that come and go?–or to be committed and persistent so you can enjoy happiness that stays with you as you go on living daily…??

Remind yourself that in loyalty to your dreams and goals, and in the persistence to achieve them, there is constant bliss you can experience.

“Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence.  Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.  Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.  Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.  Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.  The slogan Press On! has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”  ~ Calvin Coolidge; lawyer, governor, and 30th President of the United States (1923–1929).

The man of no lack.

“Happiness is being content with what you have, living in freedom and liberty, having a good family life and good friends.”  ~ Divyanka Tripathi; Indian actress.

The obsession for seeking is the subconscious sickness that holds mankind captive, the constant desire for more things and better conditions of living, the inexhaustible toil for more relationships and more intimate experiences; and this is precisely what expresses the emptiness people feels, the depth of their ignorance while leaning on the illusions/the lies they tell to themselves daily–i.e., “I need to be finally happy and loved and so find love in another,” “I don’t eat healthy but I complain about my health and I envy others who are healthier than me,” “I deserve a better job even though I do nothing to better myself and my opportunities,” etc.

34445e690d00ad739960c9d54b26a6b9
The whole issue here is not wanting more but the obsession of wanting more, such an obsession which is born out of a very ignorant ego which does not live in the present, but it lives comparing with others, it lives dreaming in a future without actually doing anything to create better actions in the present.
All this leads to lack of acceptance of what is, as people do not enjoy the present and what they have but always want more and more, and even envy others and compare themselves to them; and subconsciously this creates their own personas, where they cannot stand to be with themselves and less to find true happiness in the moment and in the things and living conditions they have.

But he who awakens and lives in the actual moment can find daily joy to better his own experience, because the mind is the one wanting always more and obsessing, because the mind lives in the past and the future; so, when you live in the present and accept the present, and things as they are in the present, then you step away from your mind, from your ego, and live and experience from and in your heart.

Out of your head.

“All lives have triumphs and tragedies, laughter and tears, and mine has been no different. What really matters is whether, after all of that, you remain strong and a comfort to your loved ones. I have tried to meet that test.” ~ Pat Nixon; First Lady of the United States from 1969 to 1974.

“It is not living that matters, but living rightly.” ~ Socrates.

People get so caught up in their heads, in their problems, in their ideas not being recognized, in their obsessions, that they forget to live each moment with joy and understanding.

The value we can find in living the moment with integrity and comprehension cannot be compared with anything else; and that is because your life’s wealth is not in what you pursue or even in what you can fix of a certain problem with much work and dedication, but it is in each moment which you live mindfully by knowing that you do your best and that you do it unselfishly.

d07fde8d754f7933ae027bb9b877819e

And being present also means being thankful for what you have and for the people around you; this is the best and the only way you find the true value in life.  Because, even though society may bombard us with “buy this, buy that,” “Go to church and praise some bearded lunatic up in the skies,” “Get married and have lots of kids,” “Work hard and make lots of money,” and all this garbage, what truly matters is that you live rightly and to the best of yourself so you can give the best example.

It is extremely important that you can see the truth in this, and that you can be free to stay in the truth and get out of your own head.  Leave the stress and the problems and live in the moment, in reality, knowing that the true experience of life’s value is in the Now.

To a better life.

“I think if you stop bad habits, and you stop long enough, you develop good habits.”  ~ Jordan Knight; American singer-songwriter and actor.

“The key to forming good habits is to make them part of your ‘rituals.’  I have a morning ritual, afternoon ritual, and Sunday ritual.   It’s one way to bundle good habits into regular times that you set aside to prepare yourself for the life you want. Rituals help you form habits.”  ~ Lewis Howes; American author, entrepreneur, former professional Arena League football player, and social media expert.

The mind is the seat of all that we do, better put, ‘the seat of all habit;’ and so, most habits are done subconsciously, our minds conditioned since birth, but in order to make those subconscious habits conscious we must self-reflect, inquire within ourselves and watch how we feel and think, analyze our daily behaviors with conscience before doing them.

26169631_407890832977618_7609864089813573201_n
In order to create a good and truly happy life, and in order to create a successful and unique one, good thoughts and intentions are not enough; that is to say, good thoughts and intentions are important, but if you do not act on them, if you do not change your behaviors, is because your lazy ego, which does not like to get out of its comfort zone, is still ruling you and your life.

Good daily habits and a strong, healthy mind go hand in hand, and these are the cornerstones upon which all good actions in life are built; and so, you cannot be truly awaken if good habits and a strong, healthy mind do not dictate your behaviors daily.

You cannot be truly awaken just because you have good knowledge and deep thoughts, but these should be carried in your daily habits as well, otherwise they are null, void, an illusion of great and ego-centered activity.

Create good habits by analyzing yourself and your daily steps, understand that this process must be taken seriously in order for real and great change to come your way, and be conscious about each step you take:

Developing+skills+for+change +Creating+a+personal+plan

The road to being truly great in life must be reality, built facts which speak of your superior and wiser awakening; but a nice thought, a nice belief, deep knowledge, deep conversations, etc., these are not reality, these are not facts.

Thus, actions, real change, good behaviors which build and create, which mold and sculpt you like a masterpiece to make your life a masterpiece as well, yes, this is reality, these are facts you can trust for happiness and success.

The wider view…

“Happiness does not come from doing easy work but from the afterglow of satisfaction that comes after the achievement of a difficult task that demanded our best.” ~ Theodore Isaac Rubin; American psychiatrist, and author.

“Life is not easy for any of us.  But what of that?  We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves.  We must believe that we are gifted for something and that this thing must be attained.” ~ Marie Curie; Polish-French physicist and chemist.

Happiness, true happiness, is realized and experienced in the individual by having patience and perseverance, by having diligence and commitment to a cause; that all means struggle through challenges, a deeper understanding, and reluctance to quit.  Self-discipline is paramount through it all since self-discipline means passion to this superior commitment; this is the path to what lasts and to what gives profound meaning to our lives.

26165416_405491426550892_7840219330550708841_n
Of course, the rest is just fleeting pleasure, it will not necessarily be struggle nor make us get out of our comfort zones.  The lower mind, the animal condition in man will always tell us of the easy pleasures in life, where the ego feels comfortable and gives mere satisfaction to the same ego-centered mind; however, most of the time this does not last and the mind is like in a sugar rush… it is extremely excited and high… but soon afterwards the mind goes back to its normal state and then there is the immediate sugar crash…

But through intelligent planning, analysis, hard and consistent work, and a noble and pure passionate heart, happiness can be experienced, true and constant happiness that is and not mere excitement and pleasure with a disguise to fool us into happiness condition.

For example, most of the time people get into relationships while confusing a mere attraction to the pleasures of the same relationship with true happiness, and that is because they are fooled by their egos and the feeling it superficially creates in them; however, the feeling of happiness is pure and is not based upon attachment to a face, to an intellect, or to a personality–these things might help, but they do not connect two souls because these things are tied to change (one day they are there, the next day they may not be.

No, happiness is not pleasure.  Happiness is the deeper connection to a person or to an event just for the sake of giving love, for the sake of connecting; it has no reason more than the process of expanding love.   The ego expects love and happiness.  The pure heart just feels a soul connection and gives love because that is what it does… it just gives love… in the process of giving is the happiness experienced.

love-kahil-gibran-14-728

So, pay attention in your own life and learn to see the difference between true happiness and fleeting pleasure, between what lasts and what doesn’t.  This will guide you towards true success and happiness which is real and thus brings real value to your life, to your superior development.
