Pay attention

What is truly important

I feel grateful for my family. Grateful for being able to be an author and follow my passion for creating and sharing stories with the world. And very grateful for you, for being able to write my thoughts and having people taking time to read it. So thank you.

I feel that most of us are not that good at reminding ourselves to be grateful for what we have in our lives–for the little or much we do have. And being grateful is so important, it strengthens our brain, it brings us more positivity, and it makes us more capable of experiencing love in ourselves daily.

The simple power

Just imagine if you didn’t have family, or the capacity to physically move, or a job, or the dreams and visions to create a better future for yourself, or whatever you have now. Never understimate the simple power of being grateful.

Don’t be like many people out there, many who are quick to forget and instead focus on what they do not have. The reality is now. Love and happiness are now. It is all in the simplicity of a heart and mind filled with gratitude.

People in your life…

People who do not support you

Life is filled with surprises, challenges, and maybe ugliness. But just understanding that all of it is your path can bring you some sense of positivity in your mindset. Sometimes we don’t choose the people who surround us, like family for example. And perhaps there are times when we don’t feel supported by the people who cares for us.

Just know that is okay. Not everybody is going to see it your way. Not everybody has the same visions that you have. We are all different, made by our childhoods and our experiences growing up, so just allow yourself to let go of any frustration you feel towards others. You just focus on growing and moving forward.

People who do support you

It’s vital to pay attention as we go through life. Pay attention to family, to friends, to coworkers, to neighbors. There will be people who support you, people who take the time to understand you. Maybe not too often. Maybe whenever it has to be.

But always remain grateful to these people. Always share your kindness and love, not only for them; but for yourself, to fill your heart and mind with positive vibes and joy. After all, you need positive vibes and joy to remain strong and enthusiastic in life, and especially through the hardest times.

Becoming better at life

What is there to smile about…??

Where are the positive things…??

Why is life so unfair…??

How do I find the laughter, the joy, the inspiration…??

Look within you past your own thoughts of negativity. For a moment, forget your finances, the people you don’t tolerate, the things you dislike about yourself and your life.

We all have something to be thankful for. But sometimes we focus on the negatives, what goes wrong in our lives, maybe we don’t make enough money, perhaps have relationship problems, etc. Also, it could be that we remain attached to what goes on in the world right now, maybe Covid, perhaps the fact that people are suffering because of this. Whenever we want to think about something negative, we will find it. Easily find it. And the human mind is attracted to “easily,” which means the human mind, in most of us, tends to gravitate towards something which doesn’t require much thought. Check out this article please: Potential for happiness.

I spent my Thanksgiving with family. Obviously, not all family due to Covid-19. I remained focused on my freedom. I quickly thought about all the negatives and things which need to be fixed in my life, and then I thought about all the daily things to keep myself grateful. I rediscovered that the positive things give me inspiration, strength to keep going and become better at fixing patiently that which I may find to be negative in my life. And that is just it. We have to look deeply inside ourselves and leave our problems aside, find the little things which can inspire us in our lives. This may be easy or not. But it is always possible.

To be happy in your life, you must do this. A Happy Life Now. You must understand that your troubles do not compare themselves to your blessings. I don’t know you, and I don’t need to know you to tell you this. Because you may be having all the problems you have, but you are alive and you have the capacity to look forward to fix whatever needs to be fixed. Or maybe whatever needs to be fixed really is just a wakeup call, or perhaps a challenge which exists to help you see things in a different perspective in order to change. Change helps you become better at your own life because it brings you awakening, intelligence, and it increases your capacity to see what you didn’t see before about your own life. So, seek the positive, as small as this may be; and keep a mind and heart of gratitude.

A prayer in your heart.

  • Keep a prayer in your heart.  Not a religious prayer.  But a prayer which arises from gratitude, without holding fear or insecurity, and it is something which inspires you during your day.  This prayer is a constant joy in you, not a mechanical process of kneeling and crossing your arms in the morning.  But something alive in you, constant, inspiring, exceptional.

  • We all need that inspiration.  You can act strongly and confidently, but deep inside we all have moments of trouble, of insecurity, of intimidation.  That is why a prayer, a positive mindset, a loving attitude, is a must.  Enjoying the beauty of a flower in the fields is a prayer.  Listening to children play in the neighborhood is a prayer.  Putting kindness and communication into your relationship is a prayer.  Don’t close your heart, but open it.

I write about issues we all live.  Life can be difficult if we don’t have the right inspiration.  Please follow me if you seek this inspiration.  And check out my books below.  Thanks.

The way to happiness.

  • Just let go of your obsessions.  Obsessions with money, with possessing women, men.  Overthinking about what could go wrong, and living in your past.  This all leads you away from being grateful now, from paying attention now.  That loneliness, that envy, that frustration you feel, comes because your attention is not on being grateful of your Now.

  • To enjoy yourself now, focus on yourself and on what’s in your life now.  Don’t take it for granted.  This is what my book, “I ALWAYS LOVED YOU,” is all about.  People often neglect themselves and do not actually develop self-love and self-esteem, but they focus on what others have.  This brings a mentality of negativity for their own lives.  You must raise yourself above it.

The feminine force, women, life, connection.  The obstacles of the intellect.  Emotional intelligence.  Why loneliness??  Success and opportunity.  The dimensions of love.  How to increase self-esteem??  –  Get my non-fiction book, “I ALWAYS LOVED YOU – Creatures of eternal love.”  On e-book and paperback.  Coming soon on audio book.

In love in life.

Life is the greatest exploration, the ultimate joy and glory; however, without actually paying attention and seeing life for what it really is, it can become a burden to be alive–a struggle, a constant suffering.

Now, to pay attention and see life for what it is you must have a mind of gratitude, because such a wondrous mind is full of love and understanding, even in the midst of challenges and misery around you.

A mind of gratitude clears thinking from negatives and from dark thoughts.  Negatives and dark thoughts could be your complaining, your constant stress and frustration, your empty and lonely feelings, your expectations and envy.

Gratitude is a state of mind which makes you less serious about what happens around you, and it brings you an inner peace and love for living each day.  Living each day with gratitude then strengthens your capacity to love yourself as you are in life, and to love another as they are in life.

Being grateful is something you choose each moment, and so it is not something you just wait and expect to happen in your life.  You make gratefulness happen in life.  You make yourself happy in life.  You make yourself be in love in life.

Welcome your life.

There is no better attitude you can have than that of constant gratitude, even if situations are not ideal.  Gratitude in your heart and mind, as you get up in the morning, during your day, and as you lay yourself to sleep at night.

Gratitude for the things you experienced, for the person you are even with your personal issues, for the desires you have to make your life better, and for the people around you–even the ones you do not like as much.

Nothing is perfect and that is okay, because that is just the spice of life and why it is so interesting to be alive and experience sadness and joy, the ups and downs, knowing that you have grown up and that you still have much to learn yet.

Your life is your mind.  Your life is the good or bad illusion your mind creates based on the content you allow.  You keep your mind positive, clear, truthful, guided by facts and love, and PATIENT most of all; and so, that is just what you will get as experience in your life.

The Kindness Given.

A woman did help a desperate friend to cope with life and mental anxiety right after a sudden divorce, after her friend was left by her husband and two grown up kids.

She was also helped with a new job and moral support.  The woman helping her friend was a very nice and kind person, morally upright, and saw herself as doing kindness in helping her friend without expecting anything in return.

But at the same she carried a little resentment after she had helped her friend for almost a year, because as nice as she was she had subconsciously been expecting a thank you and a heartfelt speech of gratitude from her friend who was now traveling to live with her mother and doing much better.

Now, this can be misunderstood by people when you are not truly awakened and aware of your ego.  Expecting a thanks or some kind of recognition or gratitude is actually doing business, and doing business is a trade for your own benefit, your own profit–i.e., I help you, you give me psychological and emotional rewards by giving me gratitude and by owing me one if I ever need your help.

This business, which you might carry out unconsciously, is not doing something out of your kindness, no matter what society says or teaches about this.  If you do help somebody, you do it ENTIRELY out of your heart and without ANY expectation of benefit whatsoever.

If you expect something, even small, in return for your kindness, isn’t that turning into business…??  So, when you do something, you do it right because you feel morally guided to do right, and not because you seek some emotional benefit for the building of your ego.

Study yourself in this.  Do not allow yourself to be unconscious when it comes to giving; for love only gives, expands outwardly, it does not make business or trades–only the ego trades and expects some sort of reward for kindness given.

Much more real.

What is the essence, the core, the reason which makes things enjoyable…??  And I am not talking about the best things in life or the most expensive, but I am talking about the things of every day–things like your own body, your bed at night, your family relationship, your clothing, your bite of food, your small or large faith, etc.

All this and more is what makes life possible to enjoy, the little things which are not truly so little; for our minds get used to them and may describe them to us as not so important, but in a closer look they are extremely important for our well-being.

All it takes is gratitude, recognition, realizing that these and all everyday things are giving us the chance to be capable to better enjoy our lives.  Human creatures are blind and stubborn at times, they see what they do not like in things and forget the necessity of these same things.

To be awakened, to see the truth and heart of life is to keep every second with gratitude and contentment for what you currently have; for this is reality, the acceptance of love in you, the developing capacity for gratitude.

I am not talking about prayer as religions teach it, or any god or saint worship.  No, personally, my love and gratitude is much more real than that.  I am talking about living every second of life without complaining, without envying what others have, without disliking your current life as it is.

A gratitude in your heart is all that matters to bring acceptance and love into your mind, so you may feel strong and decided to live your life with challenges and all.

Being wise and happy.

“Be happy with what you have and are, be generous with both, and you won’t have to hunt for happiness.”  ~ William E. Gladstone; British statesman and prime minister.

“Be content with what you have; rejoice in the way things are.  When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you.”  ~ Lao Tzu.

Being happy is a state of mind, and whichever thing is a state of mind is under your control, you choose it, whether you know it or not, whether you are conscious of it or not.

And your mind is extremely powerful because it has been endowed with higher processes of existence, namely the condition called ‘attention.’ Happiness then can be found within yourself by the masterful use of your attention; so, if you focus on directing your attention to the positives in your life, however meager they might be for you, then soon you will clear your mind from negatives and experience a constant feel of happiness spreading throughout your whole body, even in the midst of chaos and economic challenges.

This is a good and simple practice, which brings humility and happiness in your daily living, I have adopted and that I suggest to you:  Remind yourself that there are people in the world that do not have even what you have, the basic necessities of the human being as food and shelter; they struggle for these things and suffer mental and physical pains you will never have to suffer.  So, no matter your troubles, you are blessed.

Analyze your life and awaken yourself to this greater realization; train your ego to acknowledge this, and know to focus your attention on being constantly grateful of what you do have.

The world, with its greed for more, wants and desires that never end, buy more of this and that, immature competitions and jealousies, does not have this wisdom.  You must develop this wisdom and raise yourself above the pitiful and asleep world.
