Failure is not a fact

The very thought of defeat shouldn’t be in your mind. Defeat is failure, which makes it a belief in your mind. A belief is something you choose, and that you might start thinking is a fact. But beliefs are not facts. They are thoughts, feelings, things they have introduced in your mind and that you have chosen as reality.

You see others with great success, and you might feel bad about yourself. You might think that you’re lost, or doing the wrong things, or not capable. But all this overthinking you do is what leads to believing in failure. Failure does not exist outside the mind. It’s not a real thing. In life, you learn, if your mind sees the lessons, if you are positive and strong enough mentally. That’s it. You learn.

Become adventurous

Life is about exploration, and about self-discovery; and all this requires your commitment, your passion, and most importantly your positivity. There cannot be positivity in your mind if there is the thought of fear, the thought of defeat, the thought of failure and self-victimization. This is for all of us, because the thought of defeat can creep in all of our minds.

Now, if life is about exploration, then you must become adventurous. I don’t mean to go bungee jumping, or to go parasailing, or to climb a tall mountain. No, I mean to become adventurous in your mind, in your points of view, in your capacity to be open-minded to new ways, to new strategies, to new horizons.

About that positive self-talk

If something is not working out for you, do not just give up, do not just give in to your thoughts of failure or any fear. First step, stop looking at the life of others, and stop comparing your life to theirs. Second step, seek information, great knowledge, different points of view from many sources.

Whatever it is you’re trying to accomplish, learn whatever you have to learn; and learn it better so you can keep going and modify whatever you have to. Because it’s all about, again, passion and commitment; but, above all, is about that mental positivity, about that positive self-talk, and about not accepting those thoughts of fear.

It took me years and years to learn this, to put it into real practice; but I can tell you that this is the most important thing you can learn in life. To strengthen yourself. To lift yourself up. To lead yourself through the troubles of life. And to remain positive to help others with their own troubles.

Pay attention

What is truly important

I feel grateful for my family. Grateful for being able to be an author and follow my passion for creating and sharing stories with the world. And very grateful for you, for being able to write my thoughts and having people taking time to read it. So thank you.

I feel that most of us are not that good at reminding ourselves to be grateful for what we have in our lives–for the little or much we do have. And being grateful is so important, it strengthens our brain, it brings us more positivity, and it makes us more capable of experiencing love in ourselves daily.

The simple power

Just imagine if you didn’t have family, or the capacity to physically move, or a job, or the dreams and visions to create a better future for yourself, or whatever you have now. Never understimate the simple power of being grateful.

Don’t be like many people out there, many who are quick to forget and instead focus on what they do not have. The reality is now. Love and happiness are now. It is all in the simplicity of a heart and mind filled with gratitude.

The best medicine

Developing a greater trait

One of the greatest traits to develop in life, which serves you in any aspect, is laughter, being able to find the positive, even the silly in life. Seeing your own troubles and challenges in life, even your painful past, with a little optimistic sense while you put effort in smiling is of the brave and intelligent.

Help them feel safer

Relationships, especially, require a positive outlook and a calmer mind from you. When problems arise, or when something is argued, the mind must remain calm and get rid of the chaos and anxiety to see a better way, a positive way. Besides, when your partner, or the people around you, sees you more calm, with a comical disposition, then they feel safer around you.

Developing inner strength

Every tension in our bodies is a slow killer, it makes us worry and fall ill, which is why it’s said that laughter is the best medicine. It really is. To be able to allow insults, frustration, anger, contradicting beliefs, to just wash over us. It is about inner strength, and about developing that inner strength further; and for this we must let go of any tension and drama.

The 2 forces

The positive and the negative. That’s what we are. One split into two, because we are here to learn to balance what we love with what we fear.

The 2 forces

We are not what we think.
We are not what we feel.
We are indeed what we do.
We are our chosen habits.

We are beyond thoughts,
For we create by action.
We are beyond impulses,
For we can see consequence.

A human being is conscious.
A human being must be aware.
We must not drown in opposites.
We must balance the 2 forces.

You do matter. Believe it.

You matter

Life might be challenging. Life can have its ups and downs. Life can feel right down miserable at times. But know that you matter, and that is why you struggle. It is all about experiences to help you become stronger and see your own worth.

What matters is self-belief

To know that you matter, to find your worth, to feel better about yourself, is all a belief you have to create. A self-belief. That’s what gets you through all the things you don’t like or suffer in life. Focus on growing a strong self-belief by making better habits for yourself.

Laughing at your life/yourself

But while at it, choose to let it go and keep a smile on your face. Carrying anger, frustration, sadness and self-pity does not help you in the creation of better habits to help you feel better. So, what I do is to choose to see the positive, even if difficult, especially if difficult. I train my mind to seek the positive instead of the negative.

It’s about how you manage it

See the comedy of it all, because life itself is a comedy and not a tragedy. People choose to make it a tragedy, and they suffer it more like this. When you feel neglected, or wronged by others, or when you suffer a loss, etc. What matters is how you manage these. So raise above your pain, and remind yourself that these are all lessons/experiences we all have to go through one way or another.
