There is nothing like feeling inspired to get up in the morning and live a great day. But, sadly, most of us expect the day to bring inspiration, to make us feel like it’s a great day, to push us through. Truth is, you are the inspiration, and your attention allows you to feel it.
If I seek to feel inspired then I will put my full attention on what I do; but I won’t stop there, because I will choose to see everything I live, especially the hard times, with positivity and faith. I create my path and the way I feel; thus I create my inspiration.
Ways to turn things around
-If I encounter rude people, I ignore them or I do not engage myself emotionally with them.
-If I lose something or someone important to me, I do not let it pull me down but I try to get on with my life and envision a better future for me.
-If I see that things still do not go as expected, I use the frustration I feel as energy to seek other, more creative ideas and come up with other ways to create my success.
-If thoughts of any negativity start to creep in my mind, I use their energy and transform those same thoughts in ones of hope and strength. I create better scenarios in my head, ones which give me the capacity to feel better about myself.
I have made great mistakes. But, throughout life, knowing these mistakes of the past, I have come to see that all of them are there for a reason. No one is perfect. Yes, these can be giant mistakes, terrible mistakes, very bad mistakes; however, they are also teachers, but to learn from them is up to us.
If we don’t learn, we keep repeating them. So, it is always wise to pay attention and not get so into grief and shame. Anxiety is not a good friend, it doesn’t let the mind truly learn from mistakes. And to create success, whatever success means to each one of us, we must be able to pay attention and learn.
Of all those mistakes, we may feel the self-pity, the frustration, the anger with ourselves. This is something natural, healthy, and it means we have the capacity to recognize we are flawed–which makes us more human, more empathetic. But, truth is, mistakes are an important part of life; because, like I mentioned, they’re teachers.
But teachers can only teach if the student is receptive. Being receptive is being open to new ideas, suggestions, philosophies to improve ourselves and move on. Being receptive then requires our humility, to accept that we have to change and that we are flawed; and humility to accept as well that we can indeed change and get better.
Nothing beats the simple idea. Sometimes we put a lot of pressure on ourselves and think of the perfect gesture, or a great idea, or some specific way to think about something. Many times we complicate things and confuse and frustrate ourselves even more.
But most of the time what counts is the start of something, and that start should be simple. In simplicity we can envision better what we truly want. In simplicity lies the journey of understanding, because simplicity makes it easier and clearer for our minds to grasp our direction in life.
The journey must be simple
If it’s too complicated, the mind loses interest. For example, if someone starts exercise for the first time and it is too much too soon, then that someone will end up frustrating himself and quitting.
Or if someone likes someone else romantically and starts thinking of grand gestures and formulas to “show love”, then that someone will probably end up either scaring the other person or end up frustrated with himself.
Always simplicity. Think of little steps. Master patience. Life, and all the great events happening in it, is about persistence. Persistence means belief in yourself, in your capacity to achieve your passions and desires, to keep going steady, faithfully.
Why do people sometimes put you down, others criticize you nonstop…??
What is the hidden reason for them to act this way, specially when it comes to family and people close to you??
It is many times subconscious, so quite often they themselves don’t even understand why they do it.
Most people will only help you as long as you stay in their level. If truly helping you means that you will surpass them, whether in knowledge or position, whether in love or happiness, they won’t do so; however, they will smile and tell you something nice here and there just to keep up with appearances and hide their jealousy.
Why am I writing this…?? Because if you are to never give up in life, go after what you want with passion and honesty, then you must be prepared to see people that are around you, and people that before supported you with nice words, become strangers and even obstacles in your path. This is not perfect, or the way is supposed to be. I know. But humans everywhere are like this.
Most people, even though they don’t know it, are fake and wear nice masks. Most people just want the superficial appearance to fit in with others and with how others see them. And what I’m telling you here is relevant information if one is to go after his passions and dreams. One must be psychologically and emotionally prepared for this global fakeness. One thing to understand is that people have been programmed since childhood, and taught, to act this way. Others are really unhappy in their own lives, so they bully others and try to make them feel as bad as they feel.
Try to understand this yourself, such in order for you to raise yourself and keep on your journey. Life is beautiful and about progress, but many human beings make it difficult and ugly even for others. The first thing to strengthen in you is self-respect, which means to stay away from entertaining the criticism and negativity of your family, friends, and others. You want to achieve love, happiness, success in life, then you must be unique and not let others bring you down in any way. Life requires strength, and strength requires your commitment and perseverance in this.
And here we go again! That’s right. Those great book promos we love so much. Because it’s all about the content of your mind. Your choices in life will be based on the content of your mind. And I find that the mind is more easygoing and creative, less stubborn and complicated, if one reads good books. So I bring you the best books right here. Just click in the buttons below
Life can be challenging. One can experience loneliness, doubt, jealousy, anger, and a myriad of other darkness. This goes with being human, with exploring ourselves in this physical existence we call life. I went through so much after my father’s death several years ago. I’m sure we have all experienced the impotence and anger in these terrible moments. Our minds make our experiences. From a thought to a feeling, and from a feeling to a constant experience in us. The constant experience can be negative or positive, depending on the first thought we had and nourished into a feeling which grew constant and powerful in us.
There is a well of hope and faith in us in spite of all negativity and struggle. This well is deep inside us, but it cannot be fed by the outside. Sure, you can have people supporting you. Sure, you can also have great self-help books remind you, and religious scriptures too. Sure, you can even have the opportunity to travel and introduce yourself to more inspiring cultures and people. All this may help, but it won’t last. Not unless you find the strength, faith, hope in you in the form of self-belief. Because even if you lose something important to you, or fail at something, or encounter tragedy in any aspect, inner belief will get you out.
Inner belief says “I don’t care what happens in life, I will keep going filled with patience and passion.” Inner belief says “Nothing will stop me, nothing will bring me down; because my focus is on moving on and progressing.” And so, how do you get that strong self-belief…?? By developing yourself, by seeking your passion, by immersing yourself in habits which keep you feeling great about yourself. Great habits are the key in life. Sitting around watching TV and drinking beer with friends, or even by yourself?? Not a great habit. No, I am talking about habits which push you outside of your comfort zone. Habits which add value to your character.
Habits which help you understand yourself and your strengths, like writing, like painting, like sports of strategy, like exercise, like cooking healthily, like educating yourself on science or on any other passion you have. The secret or aim here is to grow as an individual, patiently, step by step, daily; however, it is also about doing something fun, something which ignites your passion and sense of wonder in life. I am personally a big advocate for better habits. I write about self-development, through non-fiction works and now through fantasy works which bring magic, adventure, and also insights into what it is to be alive. I hope you can see the truth in this, and so begin to nourish that belief in you, making yourself unstoppable.

All throughout life, you are evolving. Growing. Learning. Challenging yourself. If you are not exploring and going beyond your beliefs, your opinions, your set ways to behave, then you are not really growing as a person.
And this is when life becomes heavy on you, and you feel lonely and empty. So, explore. Be brave. Challenge yourself. Love, even if you are not loved back. Try new things. Focus on learning more. Expand your talents. This is what you are here to do.
And do it without fear of failure or any other obstacle. Sometimes we do this unconsciously, but to better ourselves we must seek inspiration even in the not so good
