To be discovered…

Capacity for growth

Imagine a life without misery, without suffering, without challenges, without any great worry. Imagine we are all happy, we get what we want always, we satisfy ourselves and everything works out for all of us.

Now, this “perfection” obviously takes away the mystery, the hidden lessons, the capacity to learn and come up with our own ideas and strengths to find solutions and ways to understand life.

If everything is happiness then there is no need for struggle. But the only capacity for growth is in the struggle. I lost people I loved and suffered much in my life, and so I gained the capacity to learn wisdom and strength. If I never go through suffering then I remain dull and weak, unwise and without experience.

Welcome the chance to grow

It is really difficult, to lose people you love, to see your life not working out, to feel like you are trapped in your own story. But that is also where the possibility to gain strength, wisdom, and grow as a better person hides. I personally have learned not to see life as punishment or as something I should experience in fright.

I have learned, and it took many years, that life is made of choices. As a grown up, each choice I make, whatever it is, hides a lesson I must discover. Discovering the lesson, accepting the lesson, and welcoming the lesson is only up to me–and always through patience.

Creativity for a better life.

Life is about finding the inner strength, the positive in the negative, the greater capacity to move on and better ourselves. And for this, we must look at change, which is building the new, whatever the new is for you. The new could be another perspective, it could be a new way to do something that before didn’t work in your life, it could be a more passionate and positive approach to the hardships in your journey, and so on and so forth. But whatever we do, we must work on strengthening creativity.

Greater creativity is the greatest achievement one can get individually, because any suffering, any drama, and any attachment to old ways and lack of insight to build the new exist in our lives because there is no creativity. Greater creativity has created the world as it is, with the good and the not so good. Strengthening the creative muscle is the most important thing we can do, to understand more of life, of others, of ourselves.

Greater creativity improves our relationships, our perspectives in life. Learning more, reading more, practicing talents more, letting go of the old and stubborn ways, changing our habits into better ones. All this increases our capacity to become more creative in life. And while our minds increase this capacity, we become more able to fix whatever needs to be fixed or improved in our relationships, because now our perspective, our tolerance, our ability to project into someone else’s mind, and our understanding of the important things in life has become more clear and in tune with empathy.

And now on hardback: “The Call of The Shaman” – YA Fantasy/Mystery novel. #1 in the epic series BENJAMIN JONES.

“Now, these creatures from the necro world moved quickly through the air. Seen from afar, they were of a smoky substance; but they could still hurt the living if they wanted to do so…

“And these were slaves for eternity. Not just tortured souls, but their egos had been given so much power that no love whatsoever existed in them. Man has light and darkness, but these ghouls only had darkness within them.”

True intelligence in life.

Throughout the years I’ve learned that knowledge does not really make you a better person, it does not bring illumination or any true intelligence. Unless you apply an expansion of the right knowledge, unless you let go of attachment to that same knowledge, your self-awareness will not increase and your intelligence will not grow. Don’t be attached to any knowledge at all, for it will only make you bias and stupid.

And when I talk about knowledge I am referring to any at all. All information, from any source. Beliefs. Popular philosophies. Scientific data. Politics. Personal opinions. Family traditions. Cultures. And whatever tries to guide you a certain way. Whatever, no matter intention, tries to lead you and take you through a certain path. But all knowledge is good though, we can learn something from it; however, any attachment makes your mind a follower of this particular knowledge while ignoring or condemning any other information which does not fit that first knowledge you worship.

So, we can clearly see that if you follow any particular knowledge then your mind becomes rigid and a believer of that knowledge. This rigidness makes you prideful, arrogant, even violent with others who do not share your particular knowledge. This is important to have in mind specially in relationships. In relationships, to be successful, you must have an open mind and accept the other person as they are. To be truly intelligent, awakened, wise, you must let go of worshiping any knowledge at all; and so, become more open-minded and connected to yourself, to others, to life, without any rigidity.

Fasting vs Intermittent Fasting

This is about fasting. About denying your body and mind of the energy it needs just to satisfy your ego and think that you are being saintly by enacting this atrocity. But this is not religious in any way. I don’t have any beliefs. As most important in my life, I take very serious the topics of taking care of my mind and body. So, this blogpost or writing here is about how fasting affects you, your body and mind, and the truth about fasting in general.

And when fasting to lose weight, it is even worse for the immune system. It attracts illnesses. And fasting increases fat retention, because it makes the mind more anxious and hungry; thus tissues weaker and unable to absorb fats in a proper manner. I used to fast for 2 days, 3 days, a week, even more. Fasting is not healthy in any way. The belief, thought, and tradition of fasting come from the old days. In the old days, tradition, religion taught that denying your mind and body of food is a form of righteousness, a way to become connected to the suffering of others. Nonsense, of course.

Fasting is a way, a very selfish way, to pat yourself in the back and create this illusion that you are a good person; but, in reality, it does nothing for the poor or suffering people around the world. Fasting is just another belief, which you might consider as a great belief; however, not a belief that actually helps people. The only fasting that helps is if someone saves the money from those meals they don’t eat while fasting, and then unselfishly give that money to the poor for their meals. But no one does this, so fasting is just another illusion, another deception religion has created and planted in the subconscious of the ignorant masses. I know because I was one of these, and I have awakened myself to the truth.

Increasing intelligence, growing in understanding, keeping myself healthy is the most important thing in life for me.

After years of seeking ways to improve my cognition and understanding, I found intermittent fasting. I do not eat in the morning. I leave the whole morning for my stomach to wash itself from the prior night’s meal. This time also serves for my immune system to increase strength, to become more capable of bringing healing to my body’s tissues. By intermittent fasting, I not only help my body absorb and use fats more properly to become stronger and leaner, but I also increase my brain’s capacity for intelligence by giving my nervous tissues the proper time and energy to store the right nutrients. This type of fasting does not weaken my body, because it is only in the morning that I do not eat, not for days and days as the common, religious fasting. Most importantly, this fasting does not create false beliefs and illusions in me of being saintly.
