Signs of improvement

Like The Sun gives energy to all

So, like the Sun is filled with energy to give life to Earth, you must be filled with love for yourself in order to be able to give love to someone else, or even to give love to the things you do in life. Any real success in your journey requires this.

Signs you are healing and succeeding on yourself:

-More observing, less judging.
-More thoughtful responding, less reacting.
-More self-care habits, less overthinking sabotage.
-More acceptance, less resentments.
-More attention on inner peace, not on outer chaos.
-More clarity in thought, less confusion and anxiety routines.
-More being and finding satisfaction staying put, less going out and trying to pursue pleasures and excitements.
-More faith in yourself, less fear of failure and ruining your future.

Turn things around

Inspiration

There is nothing like feeling inspired to get up in the morning and live a great day. But, sadly, most of us expect the day to bring inspiration, to make us feel like it’s a great day, to push us through. Truth is, you are the inspiration, and your attention allows you to feel it.

If I seek to feel inspired then I will put my full attention on what I do; but I won’t stop there, because I will choose to see everything I live, especially the hard times, with positivity and faith. I create my path and the way I feel; thus I create my inspiration.

Ways to turn things around

-If I encounter rude people, I ignore them or I do not engage myself emotionally with them.

-If I lose something or someone important to me, I do not let it pull me down but I try to get on with my life and envision a better future for me.

-If I see that things still do not go as expected, I use the frustration I feel as energy to seek other, more creative ideas and come up with other ways to create my success.

-If thoughts of any negativity start to creep in my mind, I use their energy and transform those same thoughts in ones of hope and strength. I create better scenarios in my head, ones which give me the capacity to feel better about myself.

Dealing with loss

Remember the good times

When one loses someone is easy to fall into depression. Depression can lead us to highly negative thoughts, even to self-harm and suicide in many cases. But I think that we must focus on the positive memories instead of in the loss.

Dreams and hopes

Positive memories are uplifting, they remind us of the love and joy, and they’re a source of strength to move on in life. Life is all about moving on, building, forging ourselves to become better human beings with new dreams and hopes.

Simple things…

The simplicity of things

Nothing beats the simple idea. Sometimes we put a lot of pressure on ourselves and think of the perfect gesture, or a great idea, or some specific way to think about something. Many times we complicate things and confuse and frustrate ourselves even more.

But most of the time what counts is the start of something, and that start should be simple. In simplicity we can envision better what we truly want. In simplicity lies the journey of understanding, because simplicity makes it easier and clearer for our minds to grasp our direction in life.

The journey must be simple

If it’s too complicated, the mind loses interest. For example, if someone starts exercise for the first time and it is too much too soon, then that someone will end up frustrating himself and quitting.

Or if someone likes someone else romantically and starts thinking of grand gestures and formulas to “show love”, then that someone will probably end up either scaring the other person or end up frustrated with himself.

Always simplicity. Think of little steps. Master patience. Life, and all the great events happening in it, is about persistence. Persistence means belief in yourself, in your capacity to achieve your passions and desires, to keep going steady, faithfully.

Going up

That’s how you know…

When things are not going as expected in life is because we need the current experience. In order for things to get better your mind must reach a point of understanding even in the struggle. It is how we know, when things are not going as we want; because things are getting ready for the shift, energy is clearing out.

Life is like a rollercoaster. Up and down. Up and down. In order for knowledge and understanding to be absorbed the mind must let go from fear of the ride. The ride is not always going to stay down, but it is building momentum to go up. You, of course, must be ready to go up.

Going up…

Going up is a state of mind, first and foremost. The mind makes up your reality, which means your mind must embrace a new reality to shift your understanding and for things to change. Even if you inherit a million dollars, you can be depressed and hate your life. Because beyond all the loads of money you have now, your mindset has not shifted.

So, going up starts with the shift of your mindset. You want a better life, one where you feel loved and happy, confident and successful?? Then your mind must let go from the negative mentality, and from the self-pity, and from the complaining you do now. Again, going up is a powerful mental state you have to reach first.

How to in life…

The roller coaster of my life

I have always had challenges, problems, issues fitting in. Since high school I felt a little odd, like I needed to find my purpose, like I was the odd duck in a sense. It took me many years of heartbreak and family loss to finally understand that I was to follow myself, that I was meant for something different.

And that’s the key, isn’t it?? Finding yourself and letting go of heartbreaks, resentments, and all that burden one may carry. Because life is hard no matter what we do, so at least being free of these burdens helps you see more clearly. And clarity is what we require to live better and to give our best.

Embracing my roller coaster

And since life will always be hard, because there’s always something painful or sad, which is where the lesson of life hides, one must learn to embrace life as it is and expect everything with a positive mindset. Not a naïve attitude, but a mindset built to seek inspiration and good vibes daily. I have seen many I love die.

I have been victim of racism and all prejudice. Etcetera. But the truth is we all have suffered, and still do; however, learning from our past to be better in our present makes for a better future. This is something I won’t get tired of repeating. The past happened the way it did for a reason, and it is up to each one of us to acknowledge that reason or not.

Meditation

Practicing meditation

I often think about how meditation has helped me throughout the many years. It really has done things in my body and mind that I hadn’t noticed before. And, even though tough at first, after years my mind has really gotten used to looking inwardly as daily practice.

I wanted to write this post in hopes that maybe I can help someone in this aspect. Maybe you seek to lessen your anxiety. Or perhaps you seek a greater control over your anger, frustration, and all negative thinking. Whatever it is, I think meditation is a practice for everybody seeking love, happiness, and all good things.

Benefits from meditation

-Sharing a moment with the silence in me each morning has expanded my mind and made me aware of deep insights. My creativity and capacity for creating vivid scenarios have really strengthened. Everything has become so clear.

-One thing that I’ve noticed gradually is that it has also increased my capacity to resist mental and physical pain. It makes my brain more calm when there is the presence of pain, and I can deal with it without trying to escape it with great desperation and anxiety.

There are many more great outcomes of just knowing my deep self, beyond the noises of my mind, far from the confines and imprisonment of the limiting conscious. Because, I have learned after many years of practice, that meditation opens a gateway into my very subconscious.

You do matter. Believe it.

You matter

Life might be challenging. Life can have its ups and downs. Life can feel right down miserable at times. But know that you matter, and that is why you struggle. It is all about experiences to help you become stronger and see your own worth.

What matters is self-belief

To know that you matter, to find your worth, to feel better about yourself, is all a belief you have to create. A self-belief. That’s what gets you through all the things you don’t like or suffer in life. Focus on growing a strong self-belief by making better habits for yourself.

Laughing at your life/yourself

But while at it, choose to let it go and keep a smile on your face. Carrying anger, frustration, sadness and self-pity does not help you in the creation of better habits to help you feel better. So, what I do is to choose to see the positive, even if difficult, especially if difficult. I train my mind to seek the positive instead of the negative.

It’s about how you manage it

See the comedy of it all, because life itself is a comedy and not a tragedy. People choose to make it a tragedy, and they suffer it more like this. When you feel neglected, or wronged by others, or when you suffer a loss, etc. What matters is how you manage these. So raise above your pain, and remind yourself that these are all lessons/experiences we all have to go through one way or another.

Building the dream…

“Life is a dream so dream big!”

― Debasish Mridha

Life is for the brave

This life is just a dream where we create our own experiences as we go along. We have joy, we suffer, we find excitement, we find misery, we fight negativity, we are brave enough to keep being positive even in the challenges. So, we live by keeping the dream alive and by creating the best dream with what we got.

Our brains create the dream. The very real dream. Your brain then tells stories to itself. Stories you make come alive through your will to experience them. Experiencing them is to act on them, and sometimes we need bravery, and we need to let go of the sadness and misery we may feel.

Push yourself. Imagine the best outcome.

There is no point in thinking, believing, allowing the negative in our minds. Overthinking kills the dream, it pollutes it. I always imagine the best for me, does not matter what my situation is; for the mind is as strong as the thoughts we allow it to have, so allow your mind to have the best thoughts.

Push yourself through the fear of not knowing what will happen, and do it with patience and faith. That is how we build the best dreams. And that is the purpose of this physical life, and it is found in the journey as you push yourself through it all.

Cherish those who matter.

We are all connected. We can have different personalities, mindsets, experiences in life; but we are all human and feel that empathy, that sense of knowing that we all seek connection. Sometimes it works out. Sometimes it doesn’t. People come in and out of our lives, and if we’re wise enough we can learn from the experience (whatever that was). Focus on how people make you feel and on who truly cares about you. Focus on who is there for you, even if they have their own lives now and they may be busy at times. Remember who’s important, and who was there for you.

People loves according to how they have been raised, or according to how they see and understand themselves; so, understand that your way of showing affection could be really different from the way of showing affection others have. Having said that, always observe and learn to cherish those who, in their own way, are there for you when you need them. Remind yourself that we are all learning to love ourselves and others. So don’t judge. We are all going through our own challenges. And the key is to really cherish those who matter to us, but always putting our egos aside. People have misunderstandings, and yet people can still care deep inside.
