The Only Constant

Just a choice…

To me, love is not something in particular, or something that you need to chase related to money, relationships, social status, religion, or anything else like it. Love is a state of mind, a constant view in life, a daily choice you make without any influence from the outside world.

Energy & Choices

A thing needed

In life, in all aspect, nothing is needed more than patience. Most of the time, that is what is required to move on. To start anew, things need to evolve at their own pace; and all questions will be answered at the right moment.

We are capable of doing anything, but the mind must be disciplined through patience first. That is rising above your own psychological and emotional misery, which is attachment to pleasure and to pain from your past, and attachment to your desires and frustrations about what may or may not come.

A thing we choose

The path is whatever you choose, wherever your actions take you, and it involves the state of your mind first. What creates your life is your actions, but the source of that life is the energy you create. Positive energy will create positive actions. Negative energy will create negative actions.

That is how one creates one’s life. A good life, a life we want. A not so good life, a life we learn to despise. It all starts in Creation. Creation begins in the mind. The mind is its own content. The content is based on your positivity or negativity. That is why choice is each moment, and it begins in the mind.

The One Bad Habit

So much of it

And why is it…? ? Over and over again. So much thinking, pondering, trying to resolve, demanding ourselves to know why it isn’t working. Most of our lives is spent like this. Most of the time we are not even aware of this damaging habit.

Damaging habit because it stresses us, it might make us create false scenarios in our heads. Then negative feelings, depression, doubt, self-victimization. These make our lives seem like a burden, like something that cannot be changed. I’ve been there. You’ve been there.

But it’s about listening

It is not really nature to fall for this trick, this programming of the mind, instead of listening to intuition, to the buried voices of nourishment, hope and positivity that we all have deep inside.

It’s easy to listen to intuition when everything goes as expected in your life though. It’s not that easy when events deviate from what we want, right?? So, this is the challenge we all face. Look at it as a marathon, not a race.

And it is always there

Don’t rush yourself. Take your time. Forgive yourself. We all make mistakes. The key is to go back and remind ourselves to become aware, to stay aware. Each time, like this, we strengthen this muscle of the mind, like we can strengthen a muscle in the body by repetition.

And so, that is how intuition is strengthened, by slowly and patiently getting rid of the clutter in your mind, by weakening the programming/the habit of the mind of overthinking. The power is always there, just buried deep under intellectual layers that make us question our own capacities to feel accomplished and happy.

Rising, becoming, being

What are your unique core values…??

Reflecting on your core values involves taking time to think about what is most important to you, for your growth. You can start by asking yourself questions such as: What do I value most in life?? What brings me true happiness and fulfillment without clinging to others/events/things??

What principles do I want to live by?? You can also think about times when you felt particularly challenged or fulfilled and what values were present in those situations. Writing down your thoughts and feelings can also be helpful in the reflection process.

Who are you…??

Just know that by doing this, with honesty, you are 90% ahead of the world, since most people do not realize their own internal power and thus cling to the events in society instead of really investing in self-knowledge.

And no one can really tell you who you are, what truly brings you everlasting happiness, and what is your purpose in existence in this society. These are matters that can only be discovered by you, by reflecting on them, without letting any infatuation and obsession for anything outside you influence you and your choices.

What is truly real…??

Growing up, maturing, experience your life is a challenge. Parents, friends, people and ads on TV, old philosophies, new philosophies, religions, scriptures–these will all try to steer you one way or the other, these will all try to mold your conscience however they think is best or better for you.

But, no matter your loyalty to them, all these still are outside influences of no real substance (because the only real substance is you). Nothing is real but you, which means nothing can manifest true love and happiness in your life unless you manifest it yourself, by knowing you and by letting go of all outside reflections/confusions.

New Stories

We tell stories each day

Life is personal storytelling. We tell stories in our minds, and to ourselves, every day, do we not?? I do not like this. I do like this. I do not trust this way. I trust this way. I am hurt by this. I do not care about this. This and that. Experiences, for positive or negative, we create for ourselves.

But the best storytelling comes from freedom from rules, from emotional openness, and from daily wrestling with new ideas without giving up. The stories you tell yourself in your mind. You must create new stories.

Freedom is key

Freedom from rules of how to think, feel, and live. Freedom from how you thought, felt, and lived in the past. Each day is a new day, and you must live accordingly in order to experience yourself anew.

Experiencing yourself anew means creating how you think and feel now, detached from your past, from what happened to you, from who you were, from who others were, from the dreams and desires you once had.

Cut the cord

Because what truly matters is the joy you get from the exploration, right now, without bias from past experiences, without you clinging to past events and desires. It’s about the Now and the Tomorrow. What you feel now creates your life Now.

What you feel now is creating your life for Tomorrow as well. So, you must be able to cut the cord to your past, and especially cut the cord to the mindset acquired from your past. That cord, precisely, is what holds you back from better thinking, feeling, and from better things in life.

Letting go to free yourself

The road inwards

Each man’s life is really a road towards himself, and it is in dealing with himself that he discovers that every experience in the world emerges from himself. The way he chooses to think and feel about the breakups, about the loss of his house, about the poverty he experiences, and about everything else entirely is the key to his failure or success.

Because when we meet a person we love or hate, or when we think that we are valued or not valued, or when we feel that we can or cannot do this, or whatever it is, there lies our bias. The mindset we have. The attachment to that mindset. Because it’s all about the content of our minds and the perspective we choose to see and experience from something lived.

Observe yourself

It is these brains we have, they compartmentalize everything. So, if you attach yourself to anything, and it is then not what you expected, you start believing that it is not you but them. But if you become self-aware, you realize that you are indeed your best friend and also your worst enemy. You just didn’t know it before because you were too self-involved.

You are alone in the world, and yet you attach the way you think and feel to others. It is their brains, that confuse people who are not aware, which, sadly, it is most people in the world. So, in living life, do not remain attached to mindsets. Whatever these mindsets are, you can never know the truth of yourself and of life through them.

Let it go

Mindsets are like groups in society. They will enslave you without your knowledge. They will become bias to your thinking and feeling. They won’t allow you to remain open-minded to all there is to understand in life. They will put you in a box and limit the way you see that life. You can’t really expand your awareness like this.

Only in letting go from the attachment to your own mind you can discover happiness. Or you can be like most people, chase money and more knowledge, and more relationships and goals, and more beauty and popularity, and this and that, and then end up frustrated and confused because happiness escapes you. But whatever you choose to do, always remind yourself that it’s all you.
