Mirroring

Choice

-There exists two worlds, two dimensions, two perceptions that rule everything we think and feel. Our wellbeing is based on this. Our personal level of awareness dictates which perception we choose. Night or day. Light or darkness. Self-love or self-hate.

-Love or attachment. Happiness or unhappiness. Whatever we choose, or subconsciously choose, is to be the cause for the quality of our lives, for our thoughts, for our feelings. Life is not what causes it, because life is no more than the reflection of your unique choice.

At All Levels

-Pain, suffering, evil, bad events exist; but not as reality, for the only reality is choice. And choice is originated by the level of awareness of the being. Imagine life without awareness, without choice. It doesn’t exist, because choice doesn’t exist.

-Choice from any being is what creates events whether good or bad. Disasters in nature seem to be caused by nature itself, but they are not. Whether at micro level or at macro level, it is always choice. Disasters in nature are caused by the choices of beings, whether from current times or a long time ago, whether cells, humans, animals.

What it is

-Nothing is created without choice. If there is any magic in existence is created by choice. Consciousness is nothing without choice, because to be conscious itself is a choice. So, just understand that the way you feel about your life, about yourself, about someone else, about love, about anything, is your unique choice.

-Are you attached to your suffering?? That creates a choice. Are you thinking without bias and influence?? That creates a choice as well. You create your life with your choice–second after second, knowing or without knowing. See it for what it is.

The Doom & Gloom

Attached & Influenced

But are you willing to let it go and free yourself, even if it means cutting the chains to the system and to the society you made an important part of your life already?? Everybody, all the time, in all times cry doomsday. Religions with their prophets, heaven, hell.

Politics, what’s better or worse for the country. Economy, difficult times, better times, what to do in your life, what not to do in your life. Everything and everyone is attached and influenced by this.

Ideas & Illusions

Why?? Because it works. Because it has been established in this way a long, long time ago. It all began when man started to grow intellectual capacities and find out he could influence the mentality of others around him.

So, by doing this he created systems in his society. And then, he became attached to his own ideas. Throughout the years, he made himself and others believe these ideas as realities.

Ignorant & Scared

Realities that bring insecurity, and anxiety, and jealousy, and self-pity, and all kinds of fear. But every day is a miracle, if you can see society and its systems as just ideas. Nothing is truly doomed, not as long as you don’t believe in it.

Your belief makes it real to you. Your belief takes you to overwhelm yourself with fear, and then it takes you to create a different world inside your mind, and then this world makes you ignorant and scared of whatever could be coming next.

In love with Life and with Yourself

And what’s coming next is unknown–in relationships, in the economy, in politics, in your life. So, detach yourself from the doom and gloom, from what others say, and especially from your own anxiety and fears.

To fully detach yourself from all of it allows your mind to be free and uncluttered, and this leads you to be brave, confident, yourself entirely. Then, and only then, you become 100% in love with your life and with yourself; and, as a result, no one and nothing can shake your determination and bring you down.

Life

Vital Focus

Remind yourself: Living a better life is about appreciating what you have. And living a happy life is also about appreciating what you have. Society, and our individual intellectual mind, makes us lose focus of what really matters.

All true love is born in you when you are fully satisfied with your life as it is, which means focusing and appreciating what you have in this moment–whatever that is. There is no true joy without this vital focus.

And that is what life is; namely a moment of focus in what we call time, space, or evolution. But if you focus on the stress and the bad things that could happen, then you are not fully enjoying life.

As You Make It

Being alive without enjoying life brings all sorts of mental and physical distortions and illnesses. Accept yourself, your situation, others, as they are; but do not dwell on the negativity or in the unpleasantness, instead focus on your own well being and on moving on.

At the end of the day, life is as precious as you make it. The worst anyone can do is to wish this, that, or what others have. Wishing, and attaching yourself to this wish, inevitably brings feelings of suffering and self-victimization.

It leads to feelings of jealousy and regret, and these paralyse you while taking away your capacity for growth. Life becomes worthless if you feel no capacity for growth, which is lack of value and confidence to work on yourself and on what you want.

The Reason You Create

Nobody likes to feel like this, because it changes your mood, because it makes you see life as being unjust, and because it makes you feel like you do not matter in the world. This creates a void in your heart, which is the kind of loneliness that makes you suffer and even makes you question the reason for existing.

And, of course, existing in itself has no reason. The “burden”, or greatest challenge in our lives, is to give our existence, our life, meaning. But I am talking about the kind of meaning that rises from your own mental wellbeing.

“Being born again”. So, forget about your past, what you’ve suffered, what somebody else did to you, and be born again. This is done by training your mind to appreciate what you have now, by not comparing yourself or your life, and by patiently taking steps to build more of what you want/to bring more meaning into your life.

The Only Constant

The Self That I Am

Who am I…?? I am not a man of many words really. I do like to write my thoughts and feelings, perceptions and discoveries; however, in person, I’m not really into chit-chatting or talking too much. Not even with my neighbors, friends, or even family. I like to be direct and blunt when I speak.

I like to observe and keep my personal, innermost discoveries or thoughts to myself, unless I feel a need to make myself heard by others, which it rarely happens because I don’t really concern myself with what others think or feel about my behavior or the way I am. And it is so because I value my mental freedom more than anything else in life.

What I Know For Certain

And I know that in society it is promoted and influenced in us to always be extremely friendly, and smile a lot, and to be very kind, and to be accepting of everything in terms of other people’s behaviors. But this is why most people, without knowing, fall into fakeness.

Not being yourself entirely, or adjusting yourself to your surroundings or to the feelings of others, is just very exhausting and damaging to your own mental wellbeing. This inevitably leads to physical illnesses and traumas, no matter your age or emotional strength. It is just not me, because it is not freedom.

The Heights of Self

What I am, what I seek, what I value the most above everything else is freedom. Freedom to tell it how it is. Freedom to control my failure and success. Freedom to control what I choose, what and how I feel, and what I want in my path and direction in life.

Not fitting into philosophies, and into groups, and into systems, and into romantic ideals. Because fitting into these, whether you understand it or not, means you are enslaved, which means you cannot be entirely yourself because somebody else controls you. Once you fully accept yourself, and put yourself above everything else, is simple really.

Your unique direction

Igniting action

The more frustration, complain, fear, anxiety in general our mind carries, the more we tend to make bias and wrong choices. And life is all about choices, because choices ignite action; and like this, action creates our direction in life.

Our financial system, our spiritual life, our mental and physical health–all about direction. You cannot just wish health, and good finances, and love, and happiness. No, you need direction to obtain all of it in life. We all need to find our own unique direction.

Discover beyond it

So, do no fall into the mediocrity taught by religion from the beginning of times, that if you have good intentions and you pray then everything will turn out great. Leave your ego aside. Detach yourself from your old ways of thinking and believing.

Discover yourself and life beyond religion, beyond prophets, beyond other people, beyond what society says. Find your unique direction in life by shifting your attention and time to learning things that can get you where you want to be.

Relevant information

Maybe for you that means spending less time on social media. Perhaps it means to learn something new and lose your fear of something specific to you. But, whatever it means for you, seek to fill your head with good and relevant information.

In this way, you can discover new things, expand your mind, and be able to make better choices in the many aspects regarding your direction in life.

Out of comfort

A game to be discovered

Life is its own experience in you. Life is the constant feeling in you. There is no more to life than this. The economy. Politics. Friendships. The ups and downs. The chaos and also joy in the daily events. It is all a game that we have to discover how to play.

Because all is our minds. The way we choose to analyze our experiences. Everything is a test, and everything requires deeper understanding. So to explode and get upset, to lose control and even victimize ourselves, is all pointless and it doesn’t really help.

Always search more

That is why everything must be questioned and analized with clarity of mind. If you must gain knowledge outside your comfort zone–outside your beliefs, outside your mindset, outside your routines–then seek that knowledge. Because knowledge expands your mind.

In any aspect of your life, when stuck, when suffering, when feeling lost, always seek knowledge first. The search for knowledge keeps you busy, it shakes you out of your comfort zone, and it gives you confidence in you own potential.

Books. Videos. Podcasts. Documentaries. Whatever it is. Get out of your own head, out of your own self-pity, and empower yourself. Don’t remain attached to feelings of failure, to thoughts of negativity, to stubborn beliefs and habits. Expand the understanding of your own life.

A better approach

A better approach

Composure and emotional control. There are things we cannot control, events we cannot even see coming, and tragedies we cannot avoid. It is pointless to argue and whine about it, and even more pointless to victimize ourselves and stay angry at the world.

Assume a better approach. Ease your mind. Strengthen yourself by controlling your thoughts, your reactions, and your expectations. Tell yourself that nothing is a given, that anything can happen, and that you are okay with any outcome. Because it is about relaxing your mind and adapting to the situation.

Whatever the event. Whatever the loss. Whatever the tragedy. Whatever the injustice. Move on. Detach yourself from any strong desire, need, expectation. If to be happy means anything is freedom. Freedom to let go. Freedom to adapt to whatever life throws at you.

A better mind

If you pursue something–a relationship, a financial situation, a very personal event in your life–do it without attachment. Attachment is born from obsessing over something, from overthinking, from desiring too much, from putting your entire mind, heart, and hope into something.

You could accomplish and have all you want. Absolutely everything in this life. But if your mind does not have freedom, then you really haven’t accomplished anything at all. The freedom to let go and adapt. The freedom to accept and move on. This is the source of all happiness.

Winning at Life

If you love yourself

Friend, if you love yourself truly, you don’t sit and wish. And if you love yourself truly, you don’t observe others and envy what they have. And if you love yourself truly, you don’t victimize yourself and pretend you deserve better.

Life in society is a struggle, physically, mentally, and for any of us. So, complaining to yourself, telling yourself that you suffer more than others, is what becomes your weakness, your only enemy. Because, dear friend, if you love yourself truly, you get rid of the excuses and change your own daily habits.

You get rid of the excuses

But you must be patient, committed to your goals, and focused on the healthiest choices in each moment to get the best out of you. The best actions will transform your mind, and accordingly transform how you see life. And winning at life is all about how you see life.

Are you complaining and still making excuses?? Do you think luck exists and blesses others but not you?? Are you worried about what the future holds for you?? Take control of your life by growing in better habits. Give a better example. Love yourself. Build your best life. Create your own existence.

What is it then??

Is the passion still there…??

So, a little bit of honesty. Being and remaining in love goes beyond passion and desire. Sometimes people who have been together for years say that the passion is just not there anymore.

But true love is about transmutation really. It’s about transforming the flaws you see, the negativity you feel, the boredom in life, the frustration you feel regarding the other person and the relationship.

What’s the issue here…??

It’s a very intimate and unique process, which is why many people fail at it. When you fail at it, obviously your ego seeks someone to blame. To avoid the hurt, you blame the other person.

But it’s truly a self-awareness issue. The love you feel, or the lack of it. The happiness you feel, or the lack of it. It is all your doing, in your mind, which might be a harsh truth to you.

So, what to do…??

But to feel loved, to love somebody else, and to feel happiness; it is all a choice you can make daily if you keep the attention on you, regardless of the events and people around you. So, love is not the issue in your life, or in the world.

The capacity for self-awareness in the individual indeed is the issue. So, don’t try to fall in love or to find happiness; but, instead, seek to pay attention to yourself in an intimate way. Seek, and enhance, your self-awareness.
