New worlds of magic.

Quite often, it so happens that people fall into fascination–fascination for TV celebrities, for the politics battle, for lifestyles of this and that, unhealthy food commercials, etc. This takes over their lives. Of course, without them realizing it; because it is a subconscious takeover. They claim to choose to do what they do in order to feel good about themselves, but the reality is that they are prisoners of what the TV has put into their minds.

But outside this prison, there is much more to discover. I know, I was there; and now I am outside the prison. Books. Stories. New information. Philosophy which makes us think. Adventures to expand our own imagination. This is my world now, and it is why I write this post and all that I write. The greatest asset we have as human beings is the capacity to steer our lives and be happy, to be conscious and learn. Well, great part of this is what good books do, because they expand your awareness. Let’s say, for example, you are having a bad day, you are hurting, you lost someone special, you are somehow troubled. How do you move on…??

Well, if your mind is full of society’s turmoil, anxiety, and nonsense, be it from TV or any other gossip, then you have not much opportunity to move on. But if your mind is powerful, imaginative, filled with great knowledge from books, then you can have the strength and imagination to immerse into other activities instead of wallowing in your hurt. This goes hand in hand with spiritual growth, because spiritual (not religious) growth is about greater awareness, thinking for yourself, and detaching yourself from society’s influence.

Healing and moving on.

  • Remaining angry, frustrated, full of envy and upset.  Where is that taking you…??  The mind fills itself with all this anxiety, and when this happens we forget about love, intelligence leaves us, and solutions cannot be reached.

  • But when you forgive, you empty your mind of its poison and you are ready to heal.  And you forgive and let go, but you do it for yourself; so you can think clearly and focus on moving on.  This is the heart of self-development, self-love, self-care.

Facing them…

Running away from your problems, from your difficult memories, from your challenging situations, is emboldening fear so it can possess you strongly and even with more intensity each time.

Trying to escape any past fear through putting a brave face, or through pretending to be someone you are not, or through romantic pursuits, or through any other method which seeks to bury that fear is pointless, naive, immature.

Fear, pain, difficulties are there for a wise reason, and you must not cover it like you would a wound with a bandage or a dead body under soil; but you must feel the hurt, the fear, the challenge, stay with it, befriend it, and then slowly transmute it and make it your ally in life.

In order to move on and heal yourself, to be better, to get better opportunities, to experience better relationships, to feel love again, you have to understand your current pain and suffering; and so, to understand it you must learn to cherish being with it and accepting it.

The only way to get stronger, to keep happy and in love, to be a better human being in all aspects, is to embrace all you are right now, with your strengths and joys, with your weaknesses and hurts–especially with your weaknesses and hurts, because these can become mighty motivation to move onwards in your life.

You cannot fight nature, whatever it is currently, and expect to have your own egoistical and impatient way.  You must embrace nature and be humble in allowing it to take its due course in you.
