Where is found…

Worry

I find that most of the time worry, stress, excessive preoccupation, serves no purpose. Most of the time, it just brings us overthinking while creating all these negative scenarios in our heads. So, if I cannot change it, I let it go. ‘I let it go’ means I cut cords with the thought and feeling, or I stop thinking about it, or I became detached from these.

I move on

Becoming detached from overthinking is not that easy, right?? But we do have to move on, start a new activity that keeps us away from the worry and overthinking. I find this very important, especially so I don’t become obsessed with the past or future. Because moving on is found in the present. So, make sure you stay in your present.

Search for Life.

What are you seeking…??

Do you have specific goals??

Are you enjoying every day as it comes, or are you waiting for things to get better??

What is your purpose today??

I think that we can all share these questions, because, even though we all have our differences and carry our unique struggles in life, we are all human beings just learning through the motions. I can be more mature than you, or you can be more mature than me; however, we are never masters of our lives completely, we are always going to have doubts, fears, questions about our next move, and a lot of secrets hidden which may be burdens to carry moving forward into the future.

But I can speak for myself and tell you that I have lived life immaturely in the past, and that I have done things in my youth I am not proud of saying now; but I can also tell you what I’ve learned, which is simple, not that obvious in the moment. Life must be lived in the present. The moment hides the miracle. If I am thinking, envisioning, feeling a future, then I am not truly living. When my focus and attention stays with the future, what could happen, what could not happen, then I am robbing myself of the enjoyment of the present, no matter what that present is.

So many people try to escape the moment, because maybe the moment is not pleasant for them; but in this escape we are training our minds to always seek comfort in a daydream or in some believed future. And what happens when your mind always ignores or escapes the moment?? Well, what happens is that we develop weak moral character, and subconscious fears, and anxieties. This leads us to fall ill. Maybe psychological. Maybe emotional. Maybe physical illnesses. The fact is that whatever you don’t face becomes your burden to carry. Life is a miracle but it must be seen through the faithful eyes of positive transformation. One needs to seek something good in the moment one is living. You create your life, not the other way around.

Don’t wait to make more money. Don’t wait for a better moment in the relationship. Don’t expect the economy to be better. Don’t be attached to your imagination of a future goal. Seek to love your life and be happy now, because life is full of tiny miracles; but these are well hidden, and to find them your mind must be calm, positive, and free of anger and frustration. This is a simple message to myself and to whomever reads this and sees the truth in it. But whatever you decide to do in your life, and that is very personal. Whatever you do, enjoy your life in the moment, seek to be moral in character, display honesty and love towards yourself.

The eternal dance.

“True happiness is… to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon the future.”  ~ Lucius Annaeus Seneca; Roman Stoic philosopher, statesman, dramatist, and humorist.

“The meaning of life is contained in every single expression of life. It is present in the infinity of forms and phenomena that exist in all of creation.” ~ Michael Jackson.

Happiness is not something esoteric and mysterious, but happiness is the very experience of the moment by allowing your full attention to be expressed in that particular situation.

The present moment carries our past and future, and it is the only reality there is. By allowing your attention on the present, you shift your emotional body into experiencing this reality which is eternal.

All things carry expression and is your mind the one that finds either misery or happiness there; therefore, is not the situation itself, but your mind and the choice it makes.

For example, your house gets ruined by a flood, you lost many precious things you had.  Now, you cannot do anything about it, what you lost you lost; but, however, your mind is the one who chooses to relive the past and cry over what you lost, or your mind can choose to look into the good things in the present–perhaps that you and your family are alive, that you have friends who support you, that you can be patient and strong and work towards a better life, etc.

By acknowledging the present moment, whether pleasant or unpleasant, you free your mind from suffering, from thinking of the past and/or future; therefore, you don’t live in the illusion of a past memory or in the vision of a future, but you embrace the present and live in the reality which is eternal.

Your mind is everything, everything you think and feel is due to your mind; so, if you control your mind and allow it to live in what’s happening around you, in the present, then you can avoid the painful lingering of thoughts which do not help you move forward but which only serve the purpose of crippling you emotionally.

Control your reactions by knowing yourself, then your mind will shift to the present things which can help you experience happy moments.  Constant happiness.
