Crafting your best

I feel that in order to craft the best ideas, the best characters, the best plot in a story, you have to be emotionally in touch with yourself. That you must accept yourself, your past burdens, your flaws, your pains.

After all, whatever you create, in any artistic form, must be born from you. And also must deliver the strength of your emotions, without, of course, overwhelming the ones who will appreciate your art form.

Artistic freedom

It is very personal, I know, because the way we create is based on the personality and the experiences we have; and, obviously, each one of us is different, which makes art forms potentially excellent. So, as an author, I find that pouring my personality and experience in what I write gives me artistic freedom.

And, I’d humbly suggest, that in life, or in anything else that requires the subtlety of your art, you find also your artistic freedom. That you liberate yourself from the constraints of following others, or the ways they do things, or encasing your mind to think like them.

The right one

Analyze carefully

How do you know if the person by your side, or the one you are pursuing, is your true love?? How can you see beyond your own needs–whether phisical, emotional, psychological needs?? Ever asked yourself these questions…?? Very important. Analyze your situation carefully.

The right person does not play any mind games. Games belong to the player. The player follows established rules he makes to win, to satisfy himself. The player then, no matter the charm or intentions claimed, knows no love or true affection. Pay attention to the signs.

The right one inspires you

The right person inspires you to better yourself, not just give you a desire to be with him/her. The right person makes you see and accept your own worth, and it also helps you see your own flaws and accept them as well. The right person, in short, is your higher self, your best version, projected onto another.

Keep your dreams alive.

Parents mean well, most of the time; however, they can induce in the child their own ideas, beliefs, and ways to go about in life. This, even without the growing child’s knowledge, can really become a burden to the mind. The burden cements into addiction. Addiction even into illness. But the now adult cannot see it, because his programming has been set as the “normal” for him.

Stifling dreams. Creating beliefs and traditions. Patterns of overthinking and impulsive behaviors. Childhood can do this. Parents can do this. But life is not the way parents see it, because they have just their opinions and experiences. And you are different, it doesn’t matter what others say. A dead dream becomes easily a dead person inside. Make sure you become alive and aware of your dreams, of your ideas, of your own ways to see life; and thus leave the past taught to you behind.
