Being happy

What it is

Many of you won’t understand. But, instead of just pursuing, have you really thought about what being happy really is??

-Being happy is not about the things you have. Because things can be exciting and fulfilling at first, but this won’t last and won’t change how you feel about yourself.

-Being happy is not about holding certain beliefs and following the path set by others. Because this does not make you unique, it just makes you another cog in the machine.

-Being happy is not about the right moment, the right people, the right place. Because all these are egoistical demands that your mind makes in its anxiety, in its emptiness, in its frustration now.

Being

We all seek happiness. And that’s the problem, in seeking it. When you seek something, your mind attaches itself to a vision, to a goal, to an influence of what happiness should mean for you.

This process of seeking makes you frustrated, anxious, even less capable than others. So, happiness has nothing to do with seeking; but everything to do with being. And what’s being??

Being is discovering yourself. But we cannot discover ourselves if the most important thing for us is position in society, or money, or traveling, or family, or relationships. Because, although great things, such things are seeking what has been already established out there for you, stealing your own uniqueness.

Flowing…

Overcoming fear

Adversity is part of nature. Accept that fact and you’ll grow much stronger. Most of our frustrations, anxieties, mental health problems, even physical illnesses, come from the resistance to this great truth.

Your mind must flow with what is, accept, welcome what comes. It is better to accept and learn for a better version of you than to fight and suffer to remain the same. The only outcome of resistance and denial is fear.

Fear makes you lose confidence in yourself, control of yourself, and respect for yourself. Why then fear at all?? Why not train your mind to do away with fear, so positivity and intelligence can grow instead??

We remain true lovers…

“The Dance of The Lover.”

The stories of birth and death,
Two extremes of the same substance.
What matters is what bestows immortality,
Moments of happiness chosen in between.

And as a wild flower blooming is all I am,
It’s the attention given to discover myself.
And when I gaze upon glimmering stars,
Time stops and my mind loses its weight.

Within stardust I see all a human being is.
I see you and me dancing in the heights.
And then we gain eternal life in this miracle.
Just gazing at ourselves in the essence of love.
Even though we’re far apart from each other,
Through this dancing we remain true lovers.

Time to choose

You can’t worship 2 masters

I’ve learned that life has its ups and downs. Sometimes it goes well, but some other times not so. Still, I’ve learned that all it takes is to focus on yourself, because if you focus on you then you can choose to be happy no matter what the situation is.

And being happy truly is a choice. Of course, if your life is not going well at the moment you might disagree. But ask yourself what mindset you choose to have: A positive mindset, or a negative mindset?? You have to choose. You can’t worship 2 masters. So, which one do you choose??

Analyze your situation

And what if you don’t choose..?? What if you’re like me when I was younger?? What if you allow yourself to be pushed and bullied by your worries, the economy, the frustration, bad relationships, etc?? Well, if you do, then perhaps without knowing you already chose a negative mindset in your current life.

I’m not who to judge. I’m just sharing my thoughts. God knows I still have a lot of insecurities and fears to fix myself, and that I struggle with every single day. But here’s this message in hopes that you can analyze your own mental situations, and so take responsibility for your choice–either a positive mindset or a negative one.
