How great and empowering to the human soul is to be aware of the struggles of our past, how we overcame those obstacles with sheer will and inner strength; but, however, sadly most people forget and begin seeing future challenges as daunting and as even greater than the ones they overcame in the past.

And that is just the key to recall that challenging past, that strong word: ‘Awareness.’
See, life gives us challenges to analyze and learn how to master ourselves, how to strengthen our unruly minds and design our own paths; but the problem, which most people have, is that they are not really in the moment when they go through challenges–they are either thinking of the past or of the future–so their minds cannot really record or absorb the lessons in the present, thus they start forgetting what they lived through and the strength they have when new challenges arise.
So, to realize at all times that you are a warrior who can overcome all challenges set before you, you must practice awareness by analyzing and surveying your challenges, making a mental note of them and developing constant self-love; this will give your mind resilience and confidence, and you will not feel like a victim anymore but you will remember that you have the strength within you the moment you need it.
