Self-help life truths. The free mind of a human god!

The Before Illusion…

“Some of us think holding on makes us strong; but sometimes it is letting go.”  ~ Hermann Hesse; German-born poet, novelist, and painter.

“Letting go helps us to to live in a more peaceful state of mind and helps restore our balance. It allows others to be responsible for themselves and for us to take our hands off situations that do not belong to us. This frees us from unnecessary stress.”  ~ Melody Beattie; American author of self-help books on codependent relationships.

One of the greatest sicknesses the ego uses to pollute our bodies is the past, namely attachment; attachment to memories, to experiences that are long gone and that have somehow designed an image of pride and victimization which we choose to not let go.

This inevitably brings mental suffering and it expands like poison into our bodies, soon our daily thoughts and behaviors become affected and we emanate this negative energy into the outer environment, thus affecting our image and the opportunities in all aspects of life.

The process is very addictive because in great ignorance people start believing that it helps anyhow, but it only designs the illusion that the suffering somehow aids in preparation for a future, perhaps that it makes you stronger, perhaps that it cleanses you from some considered sin.

This is giving your ego control over your existence, for in this way you distance yourself from the Light within you and you bury self-love to become slave of the past, crippled by it.
