Finding purpose

How I see things

I have spent much of my life in anger, frustrated, expecting life to be compassionate to me because I always saw myself as a good man. Coming from Argentina to United States, 20 years ago or so, was a big change, in culture, and in ways of thinking and feeling. So I started to see life in a different way.

Life does not respond to what you think you deserve, but it responds to your persistence and behavior aimed to your goals. And I learned that you must be specific in your goals. You can’t just wish for happiness. But you must trace a detailed plan of what you want and persevere on it, no matter the obstacles in your path.

Hone your skills

For years, I never really knew what to do. What really gives me passion, joy and purpose?? Because we, especially men, must have a purpose that gives us great joy and makes us feel confident in ourselves. So, I worked for years on my writing skills, never knowing really what to do with this. But it gave me so much direction and understanding. It gave me a new sight, in a sense.

To feel and actually know that I am extremely good at something important to me. After I became a published author I gained so much discipline and confidence, which spread through all aspects of my life. I write this to remind you of the importance of finding your own purpose and passion. And there is no worthless or trivial skill or talent. Always know that.
