“Your problem is you are too busy holding on to your unworthiness.” ~ Ram Dass.
It is attachment to someone or to the idea of a relationship the one thing who distances you from self-love, and it clouds your rationale because it fills your mind with desire and obsession.

If another does not accept you how you are, if they force you to change, if they are always arguing and complaining about the way you are, then it means there is no love from their part; and you must love yourself enough to end the relationship. Because happiness is not something you should struggle for, or beg for, and specially you must understand that happiness is self-love. And how can you have self-love if you allow yourself to be forced to change and be controlled by someone who says he/she loves you…??
Life is not meant to be hell, unhappy, chained to struggle and suffering; but life is meant for you be yourself and surround yourself with people who really understand you and support your happiness. Thus, life is meant for you to elevate yourself in self-love and wisdom.
Communicate how you feel deep inside to others, let him/her know your innermost thoughts and feelings, and if there is no change in how you are being treated, then you will know that there exists no real love in the relationship.
