“Aging gracefully means being flexible, being open, allowing change, enjoying change and loving yourself.” ~ Wendy Whelan; American ballet dancer.
“Ultimately spiritual awareness unfolds when you’re flexible, when you’re spontaneous, when you’re detached, when you’re easy on yourself and easy on others.” ~ Deepak Chopra; Indian-American author, public speaker, alternative medicine advocate, and prominent figure in the New Age movement.
Life is all about creation, change, always moving forwards; and one must measure up to life by assimilating this ongoing change, by building new ideas, by adopting new lifestyles, by acquiring fit approaches to understand life’s new challenges and events.

Let me tell you now, whoever does not see life each day as new, as the tides of the ocean are new, is not adapting and enjoying a full life.
In order to adapt and become flexible, you must not hold firm and stubborn to beliefs and ideas, to lifestyles and expectations; but you must allow your mind to be free of these chains, be an open mind, adapt to new views and stop expecting people and life to support you and give you what your ego thinks you deserve.
Wake up and recognize that you drive your own life, that you choose to adapt or not, and that nothing outside of yourself has real power but what you allow it to have.
There is a vast source of energy for adaptation to change which lives beyond the beliefs and ideas of your mind, and this vast source does not have anything to do with your outside situations and environment.
You must then reach deep within and love yourself enough to let your mind be silent and free of loud thoughts, then you must calm yourself and realize that change is good for your human development, for no happiness or great achievements can be embraced without having a mind that is truly free to change with life.
