Growing together

Women & Men

Women and men are not so different in reality. Well, society has always told them they are very different. But when it comes to wanting to be understood, accepted, loved, acknowledged for who they are, they are not so different. We all need space, time, room to grow as individuals.

The key to any relationship is being there, showing your affection, with honesty; but not smothering people, thus giving them access to their own personas in order to understand themselves and their role in the relationship. It’s about freedom, because freedom is where true love grows.

Unselfishness

And relationships require openness with each other, and this openness is about exposing our feelings. This can be scary, I know this from personal experience; however, I also know now that opening your heart to somebody is about unselfishness. It’s easy to be selfish and remain safe in your emotional cocoon, but it takes real courage and true love to open yourself to someone.

That is being unselfish, because by opening your heart to someone you are sharing yourself with others, even running the risk of not being accepted. That takes a great human being, especially if you’ve been hurt in any way in the past. I wish you the best in your relationships moving forward.

As a shaman, I know that all the love and happiness live already inside us, and if we can just silence our minds we might just connect more with our pure hearts.
