Action
Don’t self-deceive and aggrandize your ego. The impediment or reluctance to action is an action itself. If you stay silent and you don’t speak up for yourself, you are telling others that you do not respect yourself, so why should they respect you.
If you do not speak moral attitude and claim the group’s decisions wrong, then that makes you ignorant and immoral just like them. If you don’t communicate your feelings to the person you love or admire, then don’t victimize yourself and suffer because you don’t feel loved by others.
Right action
Taking responsibility is about increasing your own self-awareness in the daily, even trivial things you live. Being of moral character means displaying moral attitude. If you must be alone in this, then be alone and become better for it.
Society, and obviously the pitiful systems in it, cannot flourish if the individual does not take a stand. So take a stand and stop the excuses. Thoughts and feelings do not matter, not in the least, if you are reluctant to do what’s right.
