So, for my second review I’ve chosen a really interesting book. This is a story about a possible future of humankind, with a little cruelty, with a little imagination, of course. And that’s what makes it so appealing. In this story, they have built a wall. They have separated the poor and unwanted of society from the wanted and wealthy or high middle class. A little like today but with a wall.
This is a very well crafted story. What you may find very appealing is the way they speak, the accent of the poor or unwanted, which is where the story takes place (outside the walls of the city). A GIRL CALLED ARI is a story about friendship, and about adapting to the other person. Sometimes is difficult for us to accept other people for such and such reasons. This is a story about looking beyond those reasons and connecting with the heart to build a strong friendship.
You can find suspense and much action in this one. And I recommend it highly!
I give it 4 stars out of 5. Really touching and intriguing story.
Without saying too much of this story, you can be sure that you will be entertained; and also you may learn about friendship if you pay attention. There is good and charming places to be discovered in this land, and I feel this is a fresh, and yet cruel, look at our world as it could be if we let greed and political divide destroy our humanity. A better look….?? A worse look…?? You choose. But, whatever you choose, you sure will be emotionally connected to the characters.
Review of my books: “I really loved the depth of your approach, specially because sometimes I struggle with low self-esteem and that gets into my relationship with my new wife. Thanks for helping us become aware of all these things. Much love to you and yours.”
