So much of it
And why is it…? ? Over and over again. So much thinking, pondering, trying to resolve, demanding ourselves to know why it isn’t working. Most of our lives is spent like this. Most of the time we are not even aware of this damaging habit.
Damaging habit because it stresses us, it might make us create false scenarios in our heads. Then negative feelings, depression, doubt, self-victimization. These make our lives seem like a burden, like something that cannot be changed. I’ve been there. You’ve been there.
But it’s about listening
It is not really nature to fall for this trick, this programming of the mind, instead of listening to intuition, to the buried voices of nourishment, hope and positivity that we all have deep inside.
It’s easy to listen to intuition when everything goes as expected in your life though. It’s not that easy when events deviate from what we want, right?? So, this is the challenge we all face. Look at it as a marathon, not a race.
And it is always there
Don’t rush yourself. Take your time. Forgive yourself. We all make mistakes. The key is to go back and remind ourselves to become aware, to stay aware. Each time, like this, we strengthen this muscle of the mind, like we can strengthen a muscle in the body by repetition.
And so, that is how intuition is strengthened, by slowly and patiently getting rid of the clutter in your mind, by weakening the programming/the habit of the mind of overthinking. The power is always there, just buried deep under intellectual layers that make us question our own capacities to feel accomplished and happy.
